Hello fellow Time Lords:
This is a thread to discuss Asian History. Which Dynasty in China is your favorite? What are your thoughts on Asian Philosopy and Religions? Where did Shinto and Taoism come from? These kind of questions can be discussed and answered here.

Which Dynasty in China is your favorite?

Han or T'ang because of their interactions (exchange of ideas, trade, and war) with Central Asia.

This connection with Central Asia and points further west mixed with native early Chinese culture to create a more dynamic and spiritual one.

How many Chinese Dynasties were there in total? What was the most famous and prosperous? Plus, when was the Great Wall of China built?
