Dain Ironfoot smiled with satisfaction, thinking of the great work he had achieved in the past few weeks. In the place of Heren Istarion, among the white stone buildings and beautiful gardens was a gaping hole overshadowed by a grand Dwarven archway. Upon the archway was inscribed "The Dwarf Darrow: Speak friend, and enter" in the Common Tongue. Together with a few Dwarves from his small Dwarf city in Arnor, he constructed a learning place for all Dwarves of Heren Istarion, as well as for Dwarf-friends.
"Ah, it is far from done, but it is inhabitable at the least," Dain said to Grimbor and Kurin, the other architects.
"We shall finish it whenever we can, and will work on it throughout the next few months," replied Kurin, with a deep sigh. They had worked for three weeks and with little help from the students, for they did not wish for any. They walked inside through a series of stone stairways, and stood satisfied in the underground lounge. The lounge was to be richly decorated, as soon as supplies and materials arrived from Erebor and Ered Luin and the other mountainous regions. It branched off into three hallways, one for Dwarven Dormatories, another for Studies, and the last for Training.
Confident with the facilities, Dain returned back up the deep stairway and stood at the entrance to his new facility.
"Behold students! A place for Dwarves has arisen from the ground itself! Come and learn here after your classes have finished for the day, and learn of Dwarvish culture and lifestyle!" he bellowed, his voice carrying over the training grounds.

OOC: This place, the Dwarf Darrow, is a place for people to learn how to RP like a Dwarf. Do not let this distract you from your other classes however, they hold preference over these. All Dwarves are welcome to stay here, others have to stay at the Dorms. There will be minor classes and such, so sign up here and remember to stay in character!

Granlyon walks up to the archway and speaks friend in the dwarves secret language. After the door opened the dwarf just stood there happy as can be for a place under rock. He felt at home. Then Grandlyon talked to Dain to get registired for a room and classes. Then after he talked to Dain he found out he had his choice of any of the rooms he wanted because he registered first. He found the biggest and then settled in.

The sun had just set, and it was time for the students to return to their dorms. "All who wish to sleep here of Dwarvish nature may do so. Classes commence tomorrow!" Dain said before retreating to his private dorm which consisted of little more than a bed of stone.

Falim stood in the Dwarf Darrow, admiring the crude yet sturdy mining that Dain and his folk had done. But now he had ten workers, his eight and Dain's two, plus himself, and he was prepared to make this place a thing of beauty like Moria was of old.
"Kurin, Jarin, Borbub, and Gimdrig! Get to work storing this gold! Mili and Hundin, start carving those runes yonder! Bombin! Where is Bombin? Bombin!" Falim barked, swiveling his white head around in search of Bombin. The fat Dwarf was feasting on the meat brought in from north of Erebor: stag meat and wild boar. "Bombin! Quit snacking and start packing! Here is your pick, so start packing the stone in the empty holes!" Falim handed the tools to the fat Dwarf, who grumbled away in ignorance.
Every Dwarf was at work, methodically hammering and hacking, hanging and melting, storing and unpacking. The efforts of the Dwarves could be heard throughout Heren Istarion, and many wondered what was taking place in the dark halls of stone. After many days of hard labor, the Dwarf Darrow was completed, a place of glory and beauty, and Falim was pleased.
The GC members then came, wishing to see the final result. Falim led them down the stairs into the main lobby, the marble floor was so glossy that Nenya could see herself in its sheen. Elessar was amazed at the gold that had been bordered around the stone walls, and Aerin smiled at the flowers crafted of ruby and sapphire. The lobby was very large, and split into three distinct hallways, one for the Dorms, one for studies, and another for training. Brilliant torches of red and silver lit the dark hallways, sending a festive glow down each one.
Falim led them down to the Dormatories, which consisted of small and compact rooms, and the beds were of stone and the floors of pewter. This was how Dwarves preffered to sleep, and these Dorms were for Dwarves only.
In the study hallway was a great room called the Treasury, filled with gold and jewels and precious metals. A single desk was to the side, and a few chairs were in front of it. "This is the Stone and Gems class (SG), where students will learn of metals and gems from around Middle-Earth. In another room was a few more chairs and a chalkboard; the Dwarvish history class. There was one more classroom similar to the history classroom; the Khuzdul class, where students learned a select few words of Dwarvish as the language was taught to few.
The training hall was a wide open cavern with different terrain for different types of battle. Axes and scimitars filled the wall with a silver glow, and across the hall was a great forge with an even greater fire underneath it; the smithery class.
The GC members were impressed indeed.

Grandlyon returns to the Dwarf Darrow after seeing the Fair Gazeebo. His eyes gleemed like the most beutifuly crafted diamond. After seeing the work of Falim and his fellow dwarves. The dwarf ran up to Falim and congradulated him many of times on his gorguos caftmanship. The two dwarfs talked gayly about crafting something of the magnitude. Grandlyon then took a tour of the finished Darrow. He went to his room in the Darrow. There he rested.
OOC: Ok Dain when is these classes gonna take place in the HI timeline?

*a wagon drives up a while away from the place, if there happen to be any Dwarves around with some good vision, they might notice that the name on the side says ---> Trahald's Itinerant Armoury and Apothecary And Toyshop!, a huge, half scary, half harmless looking hulk of a human hops out of the back and waves farewell to his friends, he then shoulders a huge pack with all of his stuff in it and walks up to the nearest Dwarf* "Tolir here, sir. I hope I'm at the right place. Is this where I can be trained by Dwarves in the arts of the Dwarves?"

"Yes this is the Drawf Darrow. I do not know were Master Falim can be found at this time. You have to meet with him to get a room and registered for the classes. Don't worry he should turn up soon enough. But for now I'll give you a tour of this beutiful place."

Falim strode in the dormatories, suprised to see life besides his Dwarven workers.
"Hoy there comrades! I assume you are seeking to be in the Dwarf Darrow? Swell! Pick any room you please, I ask only that you post a profile, and what classes you will be taking here! This shall be rewarding indeed!" Falim enthused.

Grandlyon saw Falim in the Dormatories and walked over to him. Then said.
"Hello master Falim. I would like you to know that I wish to enroll in all of the classes the Dwarf Darrow has. I'm sorry I missed Mondays classes but as you can see I didn't find you in enough time. So I guess I'll see you tomorrow in class. Goodbye Falim.

"Ahem!" A loud voice said directly beside Falim's left shoulder. Falim jumped and turned around and then, with a loud shout, embraced the dwarf that was standing next to him. The two danced around for a while making loud, gutteral sounds in their throats and laughing in long, loud gusts.
"I didn't expect to see you here in a billion years, Kilease!" Falim managed after the laughter of reconciliation had somewhat subsided. "I was beginning to think that you had fallen off the planet!"
Kilease grinned. "Well, considering that I missed Dain by a couple days I'm not as happy as I could be. Do you have any idea where the old fellow has gone? I really miss him!" She turned thoughtful for a moment and scratched her burly beard as though trying to bring back something she could not. However, she didn't give Falim time to reply before she began again, "But I am here now . . . it took me so long because I had this little run in with a bar a while back. I got so drunk I couldn't even walk!" Kilease suddenly realized that there were other people in the room, possibly students, and shut her mouth with a snap and a grin.

Falim slapped her hard on the back, a grin spreading across his face.
"Well, my ironfooted friend, Dain has left to seek the ways of Mahal, and I know not when he shall return," Falim spoke, his face dimming with sadness.
"Ah, that Dain Ironfoot, I have had dreams telling me as much. But who would think my ruhks of a husband would become a disciple of the Great Mahal!" she exclaimed, her eyes crinkled in humor and worry.
"Nonetheless, he shall return safely. Now Kilease, if you will, please post your profile here for all to see, and if all members could do the same, I would appreciate it. On to greater manners, what classes would you like to teach here in the Darrow, fair damsel?" Falim asked.

Name: Tolir
Race/Gender: human/male
Appearance: one of those huge, scary, but harmless looking type dudes, bright red skin from working with Dwarves around forges and not having skin as resistant as their's, brown hair, brown eyes, very Dwarvish looking clothes, pretty good armour he made himself while hanging out with Dwarves
Personality: definitely a follower, if he was left alone, he wouldn't know what to do with himself, he'd have to find some place to work for someone, not the smartest guy in the world, not much of a personality that I know of yet, is usually quiet and thinking to himself, doesn't like to talk to most people, but is superly loyal and respectful (my least favorite character. But then, he was made to be boring and make fun of humans)
Weapons: a huge battle axe and a dirk in his boot
History: born in a small town north of the Shire, went to some Dwarves in the Grey mountains to become a blacksmith, when he was coming back to his hometown, he found that his family had been killed by trolls, he joined a group of elves and humans on some quest, ran into Boffin, they ran into Trahald the Tainted later, he is (or was, in this case) happily working for him as a bodyguard
Other: gots a horse named Fred, but he's boring, too
"Classes" ---> All of them. Why not? I'm bored enough.

*Tolir lugs his pack into some room and grins at the size of the bed and everything else in the room, remembering the time he had with Dwarves in the past and gets ready to sleep on the floor with his bedroll, he walks back out to see if he can get to know any of the Dwarves he'll be spending time with, when he finds that Grandlyon guy again, he hears him talking to the Falim person and walks up to him* "Excuse me, sir, but I hear that I must talk to you to attend your classes. I would like to join them all if that's possible." back to the Grandlyon person ---> "I'd like that tour still. Where's the food?"

It was in Moria where he made his legendary spear (Narag-zigil) and armor, and he lived there in secret, killing Orcs stealthily and clearing the hidden passages. "Sir, do you mean its Day three?" asked Grandlyon. Tolir supressed a laugh behind his stubby hand.
"Whachoo call me boy! I aint no sir! My name be Kilease Ironbutt!" the hefty Dwarf roared, her breath smelt of ale and liquor. Falim walked in from behind her and supported her great undulating body as she grunted randomly.

"Things sure have changes since I left," he mused whilst inspecting the impressive archway leading into the darrow, "I suppose that we live here now instead of the Dorms?"
OOC:
OK, so whats going on here?
Anyway, here's my profile:
Name: Chokang
Age: 88
Gender: Male
Species: Dwarf
Birthplace: Blue Mountains
Place Of Dwelling: Iron Hills
Weapons: Double Bladed War Axe (primary), Bearded Axe (secondary), Warhammer (rarely carried), Several Throwing Axes.
Occupation: Messenger for the King Under The Mountain
Magic: No
Appearance: Dark red hair, with a forked beard, Stubby nose, Scar above left eyebrow, Grey eyes, 3'9" in height, Dark brown cloak (with Hammer & Anvil brooch), mithril vest underneath a red and brown long sleeved shirt, Dark brown pants, brown overcoat, which is fastened with a large belt, with a hammer&anvil on the buckle.
Armour: Golden helm (similar to Gimli's in PJ's LOTR), black heavy boots with steel soles. Steel/chain-mail arm and leg armour.
Abilities: Can wield two axes at once, with the same skill as a regular Dwarf can with one.
Family: Son of Dwalin and Fíp, Brother of Throkang and Dokang, Nephew of Balin, Grandson of Fundin.
History: Chokang was born in the year 2931 of the Third age, the second of three brothers. For the first 12 years of his life, he lived in the Blue Mountains with his Father, Dwalin, his mother, Fíp, and his two brothers.
In the year 2941, his father took part in the quest to retake Erebor. And two years later, Chokang and Fíp traveled to Erebor to join Dwalin.
Chokang dwelled in Erebor for 52 years, and spent the majority of his time in the blacksmithery as an apprentice.
After Chokang became bored of his simple lifestyle, he moved to the Iron Hills and took on the position as his father's messenger (Dwalin became the King Dain's representative in the Iron Hills). This task involved many travels between the Blue Mountains, Erebor and the Iron Hills, and because of this Chokang became well acquainted with other races of Arda.
In the year 3008, Chokang was waylaid by a patrol of two dozen orcs in the High Pass but managed to defeat them single-handedly, although he was seriously wounded in the conflict. He managed to make his way to Rivendell to recieve treatment, but he did not receive the accolades that he thought that he should deserve from the Elves after such a feat. Ever since then, he severely disliked Elves and their ways.
Chokang continued his travels until the Battle Under The Mountain. Chokang fought valently beside his father and brothers in the battle, and was given the title 'Dual Axe' after he hewed orc heads two at a time whilst holding two axes with great strength.
After the Battle, Chokang continued serving Thorin III.
Personality: Humorous, Lazy at times, Loves his food, but fierce in battle. Avoids Elves where-ever possible. Distrusts Men and their habits until he gets to know them. Fond of Hobbits.
Other: Brown pony called Moja who is rather fat, and not too fast. Moja isn't unintelligent though, and has rescued Chokang for akward situations numerous times.
Classes: All Dwarvish Darrow Classes, Mountain King Course

Grandlyon woke up early today. So he decided to walk around the Darrow to see if any others were awake. After a long walk the dwarf's stomach grumbled feircly. So he dieceded to go towards the lobby to see if any food was prepared. After seeing no food he grumbled to himself. "Stupid stomach hungry because of no stupid food." So the dwarf walked slowly to his room and grabbed his throwing axes. Then headed off to the axe throwing area to see if he could do that cool trick Chokang did yesterday.
Chokang walked back into the Darrow, carrying several large sacks over his shoulder. Each sack contained his belongings which had been in the Dorms, apart from one, which was moving about.
After selecting his room, Chokang unloaded his belongings and let a small dog out the moving sack.
"Don't worry Licale," he smirked, "I'm not going to eat you, I'm just giving your mistress a little scare."
Licale seemed a little concerned, until Chokang threw it a few dozen bones to chew on.
"Now, I wonder how long it will be till Lita misses her dog," wondered Chokang.
Chokang barged back into the Darrows, his face red, and his eyes on fire. Narvi was close at his heals, with a grim look on his face. All the other Dwarves were either at the Teacher's Complex or in their classes.
"Ingolemo will regret his decision!" yelled Chokang, whilst punching the wall in frustration, "When his blood is flowing from his fatal wounds, and he is watching his pride and joy being torn down, and his precious students are being dragged off to the dark pits of Mordor, he will sorely wish he had not insulted the Lord of Belegost!"
The aggitated Dwarf quickly piled his belongings into their respective sacks, and armed himself with his weapons. Narvi picked up the sacks, and took them outside to load them onto their ponies. One thing remained in Chokang's room though : Licale the terrier.
Over the last couple of days, Chokang had become attached to the little dog, and now he couldn't bear to part from it.
"Come, Licale," he coaxed, "You shall be the modern day version of Huan the Hound of Valinor. You shall from now be known as 'Licale the Terrier of Belegost'!"
Licale hesistated, not sure whether he wanted to leave his beloved mistress forever. Chokang was in a rush though, fearing that Heren Istarion might try to imprison him if he tarried any longer, so he gently picked up Licale and covered him with a blanket. The Dwarf then quickly ran outside the Darrow to where Narvi was impatiently waiting.
"Let us ride quickly, Lord Chokang," Narvi urged, "You have many things to attend to in Belegost!"
Chokang quickly mounted Moja the Pony, and galloped away from the place he had called home for so long, with Licale the terrier tucked safely under his arm. Deep within him, he felt a tinge of sadness, but the oath he took drove him on.

Grandlyon walked in circles in his room for he was once again all alone in the Dwarf Darrow. When in the middle of his 184th lap aroung his room he thought of something. " Maybe Kilease and Falim would like to do something with me?" He ponders that thought for another 49 laps. Then after his 49th lap he thinks again. " Stupid idea. There is no way I'm doing anything with the psycho Kilease. Way too many mood swings." So Grandlyon keeps on walknig in circles. After the dwarf's 274th lap Grandlyon fell over from dizzyness and passed out on the cold stone floor.

"Kilease! Get over here with a bucket o' water!" he yelled into the next chamber. In a minute, the hefty Dwarf came waddling with a great wooden pail filled to the brim with ale. Before she could bring it to her lips, Falim tore it from her hands. "I told you to get water, you old drunk! O well this will have to do," said Falim. Falim kicked her squarely in the stomach.

Lita stormed down into the Dwarf Darrow, raging about and heedless of anything or anyone she knocked into. Her mind was focused on one thing: Chokang.
"Chokang!" the hobbit shouted, full of wrath. "Curse you, you confounded dwarf! What have you done with my dog?! CHOKANG!" She ran through the underground tunnels, throwing open every door she saw to look in the rooms, shouting for Chokang wherever she went.

Kilease ran in the direction of the shouts. They sounded somewhat mournful, and Kilease's over-drunk mind did not find much amusement in the sound. "Lita! Lita!" she called, stumbling over her own feet. Come to think of it she didn't feel too good either. She saw the waving figure of Lita a few yards ahead and attempted to run up to her. "Lita, what is the matter?" Kilease's head fell to one side and rested on her shoulder, her eyes staring out bird-like.

Lita arched one eyebrow for a moment at the intoxicated dwarf in front of her, but in her flurry she dismissed Kilease's drunkenness. Her face was still red with fury as she replied to the dwarf, "Chokang, I'm looking for Chokang. He stole my dog, I know he did! It's the only explaination! Where is Chokang? Have you seen him?" the hobbit asked frantically.

Kilease's clouded brain only heard half of what was being said. At the moment she felt entirely ill, and could only barely manage out her next words. "Chokang left. Left swearing. He's gone . . . ." Kilease took a step back when she saw the distressed and angry look on Lita's face. She had to place her hand on the wall to steady herself.

"Left?! NO!" Lita raged. She tried to calm herself momentarily. "Kilease, thanks." She paused. "You wouldn't happen to know where he's gone, would you?" Lita tried to keep from steaming as she waited for a reply from the drunken dwarf.

"Know where he went?" Kilease mumbled, "I have no idea where he went. Out for a walk to the ocean maybe? Out for a stroll in the park?" Kilease was practically hanging on the wall, and all of her words were slurred. "Ingolemo would know . . . he killed squirrels! The dumb idiot! Killed MY squirrels!" Kilease held up her hands in despair.

Lita was about to ask where she could find Ingolemo, but stopped herself when she figured that she wouldn't get any more out of the blasted Kilease. With a brisk "Thanks," Lita ran back out of the Dwarf Darrow, seeking Ingolemo.

Kilease managed to stumble into a room with a couch where she promptly fell asleep to dream until awakening to a rather dim reality. Squirrels crept and crawled across the horizon of her awareness, turning suddenly into fat dwarves with demon faces.
