ANNOUNCEMENT: ALL READ: The Council Of Nine

I do not know how many of you read the News And Announcement Forums, but lately there has been something suggested called the Council Of Nine. It is a board of nine members, used to represent the members of The Tolkien Forum to Webmaster. This means that mods will not always have final say in everything anymore. Well, they still will but they may change their minds with a well pleaded case (and bribes of a monetary nature) A very good idea indeed! I ask that all of you vote, you may nominate as many members as you like but PLEASE! do not go on a voting rampage. It will only make Webmaster's job harder. You may not vote for yourself. You may not vote for moderators. If I were to list several members off the top of my head I would vote for: Any of the Calaquendi in this guild, Anamatar IV, Glorfindel1187, HobbitGirl, Nom, Elbereth, Lhunithiliel, gate7ole, Gil-Galad, Mrs. Maggott, Pippin_took...the list goes on!

EDIT: Do not PM Webmaster! I was wrong about that....Beorn is making a special computer code for nominations and voting.

Well first of all Eol, there was no reason for the run and hide thing lol. As a member of the council you are free to approve threads and start them when and if you wish to. And also where is the thread for this Council of Nine?

There are several threads, there is one in News And Announcements, one in Member Announcements...I think. Entmoot may have one as well.

no no no, all of the ruling members (Myself, all of the Calaquendi, and formerly Anamatar) are allowed to post threads without asking me, and can also approve threads if you notice that someone has submitted a thread idea in the respective thread and I have not yet responded. I also ask for the help of the Calaquendi in keeping track of all of the members and how active they are (or lack there of).

Can someone at least give me a pity post? You don't have to vote for me for the C9 but I feel stupid because I started a thread and no one has replied to it since I wanted to be on the Council of 9. I've voted for alot of my fellow members of the Guild of Elves already and I don't want you to necessarily vote for me, just reply so I don't feel stupid. Thanks!
