I can see it now. PJ holds it back to do a bang-up job and we'll end up with all his fabricated nonsense, distorted characters and cheesy dialogue anyway!

Now if they said, "We are holding back so we can make it as true to Tolkien as we can". I'd say, "GO for it!" As I feel about PJ right now, I don't know why we can't get the travesty over with sooner.
