Sure, I've eaten paper and buttons, and all kinds of coins, but why would I eat a skittle found on the bottom of someone's shoe? I hate people that chew on straws. oh well.

I've thought about trying that before. The nastiest thing I like to eat is taking like 5 different (like texture different) putting em all together, and eating them. Like bread, pizza sauce, chocolate, and sausage.

Hmmm. I like salted brownies, cookies, and fudge. Not sure if that's weird or not.

Mindy_O_Lluin

Also, salted lemonade is good.

One of my favorite recipies is 'Mayonaise cake'. It's one where mayonaise replaces the butter or oil, and it makes the cake real moist.

Hm...I've eaten all the usual like paper, stones and money(tried to at least), gras, straw etc.

I took a square peice of metal filed the side so I wouldn't cut my self and just ate. Staple you just get it out of a staple so the side are flat but it's fun i like doing it slowy so you can fell the staple go down.

Thindraug_2
04-09-2003, 01:08 PM
On Ripley's Believe It Or Not show they mack sure it's not to shape so they can't cut anything open like the guy who eats glass he cut his self later on but he was ok.

I put lots of things in my mouth to chew on, but I don't ever eat them on purpose....I swallow lots of things on accident...

I've swallowed staples b4, they are one of my more favorite things to chew on......and beads, and those chewy fake grape things, and more beads and guuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuummmmmmm......... mmmmmmmmmand those little plastic tab thingys that hold the price tags on to clothesand, and TOOTHPICKS!!!!!

I have that funny flavored lip gloss, and being the funny cruel person that I am, I got my little brother to try it once, and now he's addicted......heeheehee:D

Hehehe...

Boys aren't always stupid. But...their minds work much differently than girls'. ;)

Squid is actually supposed to be really good. I have a friend who went to Japan and got to try it for the first time and loved it. He said he liked the weird feel of the suction cups. Eww. :p:) But, then again, he would eat almost anything...:o

It's the same with all of my guy friends. They'll eat anything. Whenever we (the other girls and I) have anything that we don't want to eat in our lunches, we'll give it to them, and they'll eat it. Whether it's five day old cheese, soggy breadsticks, or leaking yogurt (all of which I've seen them eat  ). And forget the ten-second-rule. If they see food, they see food, and it doesn't matter if it's fresh and yummy or if it's been on the ground for days. "It's food, ain't it?" is a famous line I hear from them a lot.

Crazy boys. *Shakes her head*.

Wonko The Sane

:) Mulder from X-Files ate Sunflower Seeds a lot. It was his trademark.

And Kai, I'm a girl...and I'll eat pretty much anything as well. :D

My friends take advantage of that.

They're like, "Well pay you a quarter to eat this mixture of soda, cereal, scrambled eggs, cherry pie, sugar, brocolli soup, crackers, and corndogs."

And I'm like, "Ok." :)

Thindraug_2
04-18-2003, 02:03 PM

When I was little i used to eat peanuts and sunflower seeds with their shells. Heck, I thought that's how you were supposed to eat sunflower seeds, and one day I found that peanut shells tasted good. My parents used to get mad at me for eating those.

Usually I play with my food if I finish before everyone else (like when I'm at the dining hall with friends) and I often end up making some really gross stuff. One day I got a dollar from a friend for eating a bite. I don't remember what was in it but it was yucky.

Yes, I used to think that you were supposed to eat sunflower seeds that way. I thought I was just being an evil person by breaking the things open. oh well. When people stick the whole thing in their mouth and spit the evil part out, I thought that they were just chewing on the whole thing, then spitting them out after a while. Like gum. oh well. Poor Smeagol.

Have you ever seen a Mel Gibson movie called Gallipoli? About WW1. ANZAC day is 25 of April when all the old soldiers march down the main street in rememberence of their fallen comrades. It traditionally involves a dawn church service and then beer drinking and a gambling game called Two-Up(people bet fortunes on the toss of two coins). By 2:00 pm the trains and busses are full of drunken old men wearing medals.

I am 39 years old.

Ten bucks(Aussie money about six US) will get you a selection of raw fish, rice, some soup and a cup of tea. A good meal. Other uses for fish? some look alright in aquariums.

You think WE have a creepy image?
You are American right?
Well next time some punk pulls a gun on you or some crackhead junkie steals your wallet, think of kangaroos and koalas and see who has the creepiest image.

Sorry, the above is not meant to be taken literally. I am aware that not everywhere in the states is some kind of crime ghetto, but that's the image Hollywood has given the world of your country.

when i was a wee youngster i used to try and impress newcomers to the class by eating the sticker off my apple. I also commonly ate grass, only because of an older sibling who shall remain nameless informed me that anything green was classified as a "vegetable". I found myself eying the green wheely bin in pure curiosity at times....

HOLD on, just actually reading some of this and i am greatly disturbed to see an american dissing AUSTRALIA. Don't get me started, cos until you have actually stepped on the premisies of this fair land, don't spit out false and inacurate stereo types of our country. This manipulated image of Australia which is actually portrayed by your very country by the likes of the SIMPSONS and such (which is brilliant however) is the very one that you all force yourselves to believe. You have no idea how great and unique our country is, and everyone but some countries which i won't mention at this point, seems to love it too!

Yikes, crazy smeagol444 person! Why do you think that I was saying something negative about Australian type people? I wasn't. I talked about a creepy image. In this case, creepy = Something I don't understand. Image = Whatever crazy stereotypes I've noticed. I have no idea if we're thinking about the same stereotypes. oh well. If I had been to that Australia place and actually knew some Australian type people, I'd say the same thing. I was just talking about the crazy stereotypes I know of. Not a huge deal, right? I'm sure I'd have something else to say about the real thing.

A reasonable reply~ you'll find it is instinct to Australians to be overly defensive about our country. And I can understand why, we're always being picked on. Also we're all born with bouts of patriotism, to defend against the jokes about our 'weird' animals. It's somewhat disturbing however that you refer to Australia as "that Australia place.." It's isn't, believe it or not, some tiny cult on a desolate island in the middle of the Pacific that never comes in contact of any civilisation but it's own. We are a real country! And just for the record we dont wear those hats and have kangaroos a hoppin down the street. Far from it really..

Anyways, how can I not be proud of my country? Because I'm too self-centered. I care about myself so much that I don't have time to worry about how cool the dirt I live on may or may not be. What's the point? And what's the difference between being proud of the dirt you live on and your country? Or do you want to point out things other than the dirt? No i am not proud of the dirt, because when i say my country it's not often reffered to as the physical side. But i really couldn't be bothered explaining it any further, because i have a small ninkling your just trying to entertain us all by pursuing it, which is fine also. As a perfect complement to Niirewen's last post, has anybody ever had steak tartare? That's Raw chopped sirloin, served on toast, garnished with chopped onion, capers and other seasonings.

My Dad used to make it from time to time and I have to say 'Don't knock it until you've tried it.' It's really good!

Oysters are good too:). Fried, in a stew, or in the stuffing that goes into the Thanksgiving turkey. I like them best on the half shell... no cocktail sauce to cover up the taste but just a little spritz of lemon juice.

OK, I'm hungry now. What's for lunch?

1. On the "good" side, if you can call it good.

I once visited a group of Klingons who had prepared a fancy-schmancy "ceremonial drink." Non-alcoholic. But IMHO, you definitely needed to be brave to drink it! :p The ingredients I can remember included chocolate, orange juice, and ginger ale. Anyways, by the time it was all slopped together, it looked and tasted exactly like muddy sludge. Ewwww! And these people actually ENJOYED it! Me, I just took a diplomatic sip to say I did.

2. On the "bad" side ... and just happened to me today, matter of fact.

There I am, eating lunch at my desk from the styrofoam box given me downstairs at the company cafeteria. Suddenly, poking up from among the string beans and carrots, was a yellowish thing vaguely resembling a macaroni shell. Only it wasn't. Instead, it was a ..... * drumroll please * ..... tip from a latex rubber glove! EWWWWWWWW !!!!! I marched straight down to the cafeteria to let the cook know, and he immediately dished me up a new box of food. But when you think about it, he gave me the same sausage and same veggies ... from the same container that once held the cut-off glove tip! BLEARGH !!!!! I spent several hours today feeling kinda queasy.
