The Trezha of the Drow

In a faraway land there lived a dragon. This dragons name was Ainakril. He was an albino dragon, and live in a cave in the side of the treacherous Mt. Satar. It was said that in his cave lay magnificent treasure beyond mortal comprehension, but the most valuble gem was called the Trezha. Legend had it that in it Qaar'in, the last and greatest mage, had poured his powers into this gem before he had died, and indeed, it seemed to glow red through its clear exterior. Ainakril often fondled the jewel, and it was his prize. Many noble knights had tried to scale Satar, slay Ainakril, and retrieve the gem, but the dragon caught them before they even came close. Now, though, the drow Queen was mortally ill, and the 6 races (surface elves, drow, dwarves, halflings, humans, and changlings. if i forgot any please tell me.) banded together to get the Trezha of her people and save her. The main characters are as follows:

IC: It was a cold, winter's day in the Carlis Mts. Jazar was wrapped tightly in her cloak, but the bitter wind still chilled her to the bone as she ascended from the underground Drow castle, and headed for the palace of the Great King Faren. The guards at the doors stopped her, but she flashed a mithril signet imprinted with peace symbols and those of the Drow, and they let her pass. Once inside, she released her cloak and walked to the throne room. The guards here were not so easily swayed, and one of them said, "..."

"I am Jazar Tr'den, bodyguard and assistant to the Drow Queen herself. If I am granted the right to bear one of the tokens of your king, do you think that your force will be sufficent to thwart the king's wishes?"

*The guard shrinks a bit and meekly opens the door. The throne room is huge, with carven pillars and gold giltwork covering everything. Jazar goes to a few feet in front of the throne and bows, not to low, but a bow nonetheless. A tall man stands beside the throne. The king gestures, and he steps forward.*

Ainakril stood over mount Satar looking at the horizon. The black land reflected upon the eyes of the dragon. It has been years since he had breath the cold air of the night. Ainakril closed his eyes. He still could feel the dark elves screaming and running when he robbed the great gem the Trezha, and he still remembered all those stupid knights that tried to steal his treasure......True they had been stupid, but some of them were pretty good. Ainakril still felt pain from his scars from some battles. Still he missed the fights. It has been a very long time since he had a real fight. The dragon sighted and felt boredom in his heart.......It had a long time since his fame decrease over the earth. Still he was pretty famous, and feared. Oh, yes feared!! There wasn't anything more pleasant that to implant fear on others. Fear is respect, that's what his father told him when he was still very little. And now after many years, this whole land and this enourmous treasure was his, and all the ones that had tried to taken were dead. Ainakril was bigger than his father, hell he was the bigger in all his family, and also the stronger.....He had heard the news that the drow Queen had been sick, and the races were joining to help her and her people. So maybe a good fight would be closer than he thought."Good,"he thought." I have been hungry for heroes for a time now".....

The man stepped forward from beside the throne and spoke with a slight hint of superior authority to Jazar

"Welcome, I am Thenedor, ambassidor to the king and what, may I ask can I do for you?"

OOC: Hey Tim! 'Sup? Sauronbill, v.good description, made my blood run cold. Brrr!

IC: Jazar pulls out her signet and hands it to him. He inspects it and sets it on a table. jazar inclines her head slightly to him and responds.*
"I am the ambassador of Queen K'der of the Drow. She comes to you to crave a favor. She has taken ill with the Gray Death."
*A gasp echoes through the room. "The Gray Death..."*
"She begs for your help. The only cure to the Gray Death the magic contained within the Trezha. But this gem is hidden in the lair of the great one Ainakril." *Another gasp* "We are sending messengers to all the races to plead for help to slay the dragon."


*Far away, in Jasa, the land of the halflings, (I'm assuming this character temp.) Another drow stood on a hilltop, gazing down at the peaceful farmer's fields. A halfling stood beside him, munching on a carrot. The halfling gestured at the crops.*
H-"Beautiful, aren't they?"
D-"Yes. But this venture would not destroy any of this, merely keep it safer in the future. The Drow are a powerful ally." *He touched his dagger meaningfully. The halfling winced a little, but said..."
H-"Let me take you to the vil'an, Kiraj son of Hal'jan. Perhaps she will accept your proposal."
