I am neither as I am a Evil maia spirit....well not really as u know

but I do sometimes bite my nails or change lanes without putting on my signal light!

No other person here will be able to share the evil I have done!!

so share your worst behavior so to compare....

to start off this Evil thread I will admit to reading my ex-girlfriends diary....mortal sin style because the result made me leave our relationship...and she will never talk to me again. I cannot blame her because what I read was in a sense takin out of context....

When one has lost true love without redemption

what else is there but evil?

    :D :) :( :o :p :(

Well speaking as a lame handyman from the house of Hurin, I can confidently say I have never done anything Evil(unless you count baiting right-wing bigots in the guild of politics):D

I tend to think I'm not evil, but other people have told me I am evil for the following reasons. Please tell me if you think they are right.

1. I forcefully told a friend to go home because he wouldn't stop talking on my front porch and it was three in the morning - enough is enough already. He said I was evily rude - even though he had ignored my 10 previous POLITE hints.

2. I told a friend she could have dibs on my oriental rug at a garage sale, but then I sold it to someone else who offered me twice as much. She hasn't spoken to me since.

3. People at work think I am excessively bossy. (I just think I require as high a standard from my co-workers as from myself.)

4. I broke up with a guy who pissed me off royally and used me and my stuff, and I didn't love him anyway, but he thought I was evil for doing so.
(Of course he didn't recognise all of the rotten things he had done to ME as evil. Of course not.)

Bossiness is the only evil I can see from those examples. Expecting mere mortals to reach our level of perfection is just unreasonable.
I generally expect nothing and sometimes I'm pleasantly surprised.

The last evil thing I have done was to go to a party alone and not tell my girlfriend she could have gone. I told her there we no invitations, but there was actually one left. I didn't want her to go because I just felt like going alone so I could hang out with my friends and get drunk.

Cool idea for a thread. Let me see here. Yikes! Reading other people's diaries! Too evil!

Baiting right-wing bigots? Sounds like something that's needed to me.

1. Not evil. 2. Pretty evil. It would have been nice if you had at least tossed a 'maybe' or an 'it depends' at the friend. 3. More annoying than evil, I'd say. 4. Not that I know much about the situation, but I'd say that it wasn't evil.

Expecting mere mortals to reach our level of perfection is just unreasonable. <--- That quote by the Sador person is pretty evil.

The Arcanjo person's thing didn't sound too evil. Why would the lady want to hang out with a drunk you anyways?

My evilness ---> Self-centeredness. Stubbornity. Laziness. Having fun with all three of those things even though I know they're evil.

Mindy_O_Lluin
04-14-2003, 10:47 PM
Thanks. It always helps to get a second opinion. (about my evilosity).

Question about Arcanjo's evil. What do you all think?

Which would have been more evil?

1. Do what he did to said Girlfriend due to selfishness and lack of consideration for her feelings?

2. Downright lying to her when she trusted him?

3. To say to said Girlfriend: "I'm going to a movie, and even though I have a spare invite, I'm not taking you because I want to go hang out with my friends and get drunk with out having you around for a change. I hope you will understand that I just want a little time for myself."

Why did you even put that number three thing in there? oh well. Can't you do one and two at the same time? oh well. If I had to choose, I'd say that the first thing is the most evil. Why? Are you trying to guess which way he did it?

I would not have gotten drunk if my gf went with me. I just wanted some time to hang aroun with my buddies. And I'm not an evil guy or a liar. I've been with my gf for 3 and a half years, and this was the first time I felt like going out on a Saturday night without her.

You guys are making me feel bad... :(

Mindy_O_Lluin
04-15-2003, 10:39 PM
I put number three in there because I wanted to see if anyone believes it is evil to tell the truth if it might hurt somebody's feelings.

It's there because it points out what the alternative would have had to be, and I wonder why people avoid that alternative.

Personally, I think girls would appreciate the truth, even if it hurts them, more than they would appreciate the deception. The first kind of hurt would just be fleeting and based on their ego. The second kind is harder to overcome because of the trust breaking.

Do you have to be evil to be an Outcast?

'Outcast' does not equal 'evil', so no. But outcast or not, I suppose we all have some degree of evil that pops out now and again. We are just exploring that facet here.

YayGollum
04-15-2003, 11:07 PM
Yes, I would wonder why anyone would think that telling the truth would be evil. oh well. Maybe some crazy people would think it's offensive. Anyways, sure, people appreciate deception when they don't know that's what it is. No harm done. Not trying to make you feel bad, Arcanjo person. At least I didn't think so.

I've never done anything truly evil, like murder, etc, but I have been pretty mean to various people.

The-Elf-Herself
04-16-2003, 12:31 AM
I've been unintentionally evil lots of times, mostly because of my blunt nature. For some reason when you're honest with a person they sometimes don't appreciate that honesty. Like when they ask me how I'm doing and I say something other than "fine" or if they want my opinion on something and I answer exactly what I'm thinking. I thought people would like to know what I really think, I always like brutal honesty from other people. Instead, they want nice diplomatic semi-lies and nonsense. So whenever I'm honest I guess I'm evil. See my sig. for my take on this.

Also, I tend to pay more attention to animals than people. For instance, when I first meet someone and they have a pet of some sort, after saying an obligatory hello I go straight for the animal. Then, depending on if the person is interesting, I'll stick around the pet more than the person. Oh well, it's not my fault the animal is more interesting. Sometimes I just don't feel like "digging deeper" for common interests, I'd rather just pet their cat/dog/whatever.

Sure, brutal honesty isn't evil. People offended by it are. Anyways, when people ask me how I am, I always achingly sarcastically say ---> "Oh, I'm having all kinds of fun." and roll my eyes all over the place. They usually just laugh and nod. Some toss me a perplexed look because they expect me to toss the usual ---> "Oh, I'm fine. How are you?" I tell the people that I could care less how they are and most people (not all! *sniff*) will laugh at that and learn to not ask me the question anymore.  When they ask how my family or something is, I'd say ---> "Well, they're not dead yet. I guess they must be good." Are those things evil?

Nah Yay, that's not evil. If anyone askes me how my family is, I'll usually say something like "I don't know, haven't seen them in a while. All I have are this strange people in my house, " or something sarcastic. I mean, what's really the point of either of those questions? Especially since the people who ask them are usually people who don't even know you very well. Most often I just ignore that questions asking how I am, or answer with "oh I just got over a broken neck yesterday but otherwise I'm fine." SOmetimes it takes them a minute to figure out the ludicrousness of that statement.

No, not evil, just Yayish.

To Jam/The-Elf-Herself: Personally, I like honest people. There is a way of being gentle and honest at the same time...but I would rather have someone be brutal and honest with me than just honeycoat everything to spare my feelings or whatever.

When people ask how you are and then get all erky when they don't get the nice little "fine"...well, that's stupid on their part. They asked the question, after all, and there are more answers to it than just one little bland one. But also, a lot of times when people ask that question, they're trying to be friendly. Maybe they don't know what to say and are trying to fill up the silence. Then it throws them off when they don't get friendliness back. There's nothing wrong with just trying to be nice.

I guess I'm evil sometimes...but only to people who really do deserve it. I see no point in being evil to people who are just confused as to your behavior, especially when they haven't known you for very long. Gotta give them a chance to get used to you and your outcastishness before you say something brutal.

The-Elf-Herself

Yeah, I've been learning and using that crazy tact stuff. I don't usually need it alot though, my friends are used to me. And yeah, I've figured out that it's just a space filler, but if they don't even know me why try to fill up that space at all? Silence is golden, better to remain silent and let others think you a fool than to speak and remove all doubt(a paraphrase of Mark Twain), all that good stuff. Besides, I say that stuff with a smile, for some reason when I smile people don't take me seriously. So if it throws them off, they'll think it's just part of my strange sense of humor; if not, then I can't help them. You'd be surprised how saying something evil or crazy can break the ice better than just saying "fine". If the other person gets superly offended(haven't had that happen yet), can't please everybody I guess.

Yes, I'm totally for that. It's amazing how a smile can completely change the mood of whatever is said. The actual words of what you say really only make up about 25% of what the other person perceives...25% is body language, and 50% is tone. Or that's what I heard, anyway. *Shrugs*. Cheers for people making conversation with things other than the bland "fine"! :)

04-17-2003, 02:32 AM
Yes, honesty is the best. It really bothers me when people humor me. When people ask how I'm doing, sometimes I'll just say "fine" or "crappy" (depending on how I am) if I don't feel like talking. I get like that sometimes. But if I do want to talk, I go into more detail. Actually, if things are not going well, I'll often give a one word answer no matter what, if they want to talk more they will ask what is wrong. I find that most people do ask, out of politeness no doubt.

It was about twenty years ago. I needed some shoes to go out somewhere and I saw a nice pair that had been left lying around, so I borrowed them. Some one said "hey, cool shoes". So I kept them. He wasn't going to need them for a while so I thought why not?. I have no idea what ever became of him. I didn't even realise he was selling heroin until he got busted(yes I was young and stupid). Okay, yes, that was evil. Why would you do that, anyways? Superly mad at the time? oh well. Let me see here. I hear that I am an evil person for ignoring people when, if I didn't, I would be achingly insulting. They say that I radiate coldness and hostility. Didn't mean to! *hides*

The-Elf-Herself
04-24-2003, 10:23 PM
Well, that can be interpreted as evilness by other people, depending on what emotion they think you're radiating. So I think it's all on the other person, not your fault. Of course, if you go by the rule that when you're in public you have to be excrutiatingly polite to everyone or you're being evil, then that's different. Just don't be yourself around everyone else and you won't be evil. Yeah, that makes a huge bunch of sense in a society where everyone is encouraged to "be theirself". My theory is just say everything with a smile, then you can say the coldest things and people think you're joking.

YayGollum
04-24-2003, 10:39 PM
Ack! Now, I would think that that would be an evil and hypocritical type thing to be doing. I tell people what I think and make sure they know that that's what I think. Not that I'm just messing aroun. Ick. How is that not evil? Sure, smart people should be able to figure out what you mean, but why be evil to the people that take things at face value?

The-Elf-Herself
04-24-2003, 10:58 PM
How is it hypocritical? Half the things I say I'm half serious about and half joking anyway. I don't expect anyone else to get them, so why not let them enjoy their own opinions? That way, perchance anyone does understand them, they can be just as amused or provoked or whatever as people who take things at face value. It's not hypocrisy if you genuinely have two opposite emotions at the same time. It's just craziness. Yes, highly cynical, but the theory works for me.

Um, I think that's what's known as a typo. I meant to say "shrieking like a bird, imitating exotic bird calls" elaborating on the description, not suggesting a new type of bird that can do that, although pretty much all exotics birds can mimic each others calls, so it does work out that way as well. Makes it very interesting in the bird section of a pet store, all of them might be relatively quiet and then you introduce a new bird with a screechy voice; next thing ya know, all the other birds have learned it's calls and decided they like it.

I can't resist the idea of trying to figure out why I'm evil. I'll start from obnoxious and try to work up.

1. Always answering "Low" when people say "Hi."

3. Word games, palindromes, anagrams, puns. Usually bad ones.

4. Taking what people say literally in order to pervert their intended meaning for my own amusement or convenience. :p

5. Blundering into cliques and then feeling shamed by the inevitable (usually implicit) "uhhh .. you're not one of us."

6. Pretending that I'm better or worse than other people. Usually just to myself, but sometimes out loud (oh, the embarassment!)

7. Prefering the company of unpopular people, particularly myself. :(

5. Yes, it is evil to feel ashamed. Why? Who cares? Cliques are evil, so you should care less about disturbing one for two seconds.

6. Well, sure, it's evil to pretend that kind of craziness out loud, but if you actually believe that it's true, then it's not so bad. You could be right.

Yeah, it is majorly fun and yeah very freeing, nice to get all that stuff out in one long piercing screech. Yeah, I tend to scare people away, that's why I don't do it much. Besides, if I screech too much it messes up my vocal cords and I can't sing as well.

Okay, my opinions:

1. Irritating and that's about it

2. Depends, can be fun

3. Everything is okay except the puns. Evil puns are equal parts cringe-worthy and part hilarious.

4. Lots of fun, I don't see a problem with it as long as you don't do it to me.:D

5. NEVER feel ashamed for breaking up a clique. When they glare at you, grin back crazily and mutter under your breath, drives 'em NUTS.:D

6. hmm, sounds interesting, can't render judgement yet

7. Unpopular people are great! We're waaay cooler than the popular people.

8. oooh, lacking convictions is annoying. As a highly opinionated person, people who lack conviction are irritating to me, although I can't say anything sicne I'm surrounded by them wherever I go(not here though ;) ).

9. & 10. need clarification.

Mufasa...*shiver*...

Mufasa...*shiver*...

Mufasa Mufasa MUFASA!

Hehehe...I believe that's an excerpt from The Lion King...little exchange between the hyenas. I love Ed. :D

Arcanjo, I don't know what you drank or whether or not it tasted good, but I do know that vomiting does not taste good. So it can't have been worth it. D's right. Don't hurt yourself...:(

Right. It's just like love. Love is bad. Heartache is the worst kind of ache. Why risk it? Yay for you people giving me another thing to add to this arguement! :D

OOOOOOhhhhh...unfortunately all the evilly stuff I've done I've enjoyed doing...

1) Plowing through the mess of people in the hallway. It's become a game for me

2) Breaking minor school rules (cutting gym class early and having gum when I shouldn't)

3) Changing my mind too often (that's for sure)

YayGollum

1. Yes, that is pure evil. I'd rather zip through the crowd untouched.

2. Well, I can't remember breaking any school rules, but the things you did don't sound too evil. Gym class is evil. But then, so is gum. oh well.

3. Nothing wrong with that. Yay for being flexible!

MUFASA!!! *shivers*

yesness taht is almost exactly what happens in the lion king... ed....:D

I just know that beer smells horrible and people always talk about other things "burning when they go down" add that on top of voniting, and I'm thinking "why? thats just stupid!"

1)*is very good w/ both zipping and plowing....depends on her mood as to which she does*

2)well, I'm too scared to cut classes, but gum.....yesness, I is loving gum very muchness!!!!

3)*is tres, tres fickle*

I have a friend who used to drink and compares the taste to lamp oil. Why would you want to drink that?

Ooh...

1) Plowing...evil, but fun. ;) I do that, too, but a lot of times I'm not trying to. I try to take the Yay approach and not touch anyone, but that never works. There are 3,000 kids at my highschool, and it's impossible to not touch anyone, especially when you're as clumsy as I am.

2) That's fun, too! I've never cut gym early and I'm not the hugest fan of gum (even though I do like it), but I've broken other minor rules. It's especially fun because I'm a straight A student, so everyone expects me to be perfect.

3) Mm...that can get annoying sometimes. I don't do that, though. Once I make up my mind, I usually stick to it.

Hmm...thinking of evil things...
Here are a few ways I've broken (minor) school rules :p :

1) Going on the Internet in typing class when I'm supposed to be doing the lesson.

2) Cheating on biology exams. (But that is my hardest class, and with all the work the teacher assigns, I think we deserve to cheat! We're allowed one page of notes during the exam...but I sit next to one of my best friends...so I put half the lesson material on my page and she puts the other half on hers, and then we...compare notes. )

3) Sliding down the stair rails. (But it's so fun! :D I don't know why they don't want us to do it. There's this one security guard who always yells at me for it. But...heh...one day I was superly evil...and when he was walking down the stairs, I slid down right behind him. I was literally inches behind...I could have reached out and touched him. *Snickers*. And then when he got to the bottom of the stairs, I jumped off the rail right before he turned around, waved, then flounced off. :p)

Yikes! You are evil! I probably would have done your first thing if the computers I worked with had the internet thing on it. I never cheat. Unless you count helping people out ever now and then. Sliding down stair rails sounds dangerous.

Dragon

I would do no. 1, too, but I dont have any classes that directly involve computers.... as for cheating....well, I dont cheat, but I help poeple

Kailita
05-11-2003, 11:58 PM
Wow...Yay called me evil...that must mean I'm really evil!:D Cheers for me? *Is rarely called evil* Heh heh...not many people know the evil side of me...;)

I rarely cheat. To tell the truth, I hardly ever need to. And there have been at least three times that I can remember when my math book has been lying on the floor during a geometry test, and all I would have needed to do to cheat would be to nudge it a certain way with my foot...but I've never done that, because I would hate myself for it afterwards. The only subject I cheat in is biology. :D And even then, my friend and I don't copy each other's answers, we just split up the work so we're not both up until one or two on the night before the exam. Call it resourceful.

Sliding down stair rails isn't too dangerous, and it's fun. :D It's easier in jeans than a dress, though, as I found out the hard way at a young age. Dresses don't create as much friction, so it's easier to fall off. D, I would wait until the authority figures leave the rail to slide down too, except I swear this one certain security guard waits for me at the bottom of the stairs! He's just crouching, preparing to pounce and give me detention. He knows I'm going to come, knows I'll succumb to the beckoning of the rail, and wants to get me in trouble! Oh crackers. Haven't gotten in too much trouble yet.

Sliding down stair rails is a blast! Always lots of fun. Poor Kai, mean evil normal security guard. My friends and I were at the Met on a field trip earlier this year and they had this brightly colored waist-coat up on display. My friend being an absolute sewing freak, she just had to touch it. Besides, it was so enticingly bright, it just screamed "touch me". So anyways, she set off a security alarm and the security guard just ignored it. Apparently lots of people succumb to the temptation, he doesn't even pay attention any more. It would be really easy to steal that coat, all you do is have a bunch of people try to touch it, completely disensitize the guard to the sound, then do a quick switch with a fake and go through some back entrance dressed as an employee. Maybe there are few holes in that plan, but the idea is sound. Yes, I'm crazy, when I go to big fancy museums I play around with how one would steal a piece of art from them. Not to be mean, it's just an interesting game to play in my mind, it's not like I intend to ACT on it. Is any of that evil?

Kailita
05-12-2003, 01:25 AM
*Laughs* No, that's not evil, it's just...Jamish. :D I can definitely see you thinking like that. Except where would you get an employee outfit?

My brothers and I do that occasionally...ponder over different methods of shoplifting. We never actually do it...never would even consider really doing it...we just like making up plans to see if we could if we really wanted to. ;) It's a fun game.

Yes, some security guards are evil and normal. But cheers for the ones who let the little things go! Like touching bright waistcoats.

Dragon
05-14-2003, 01:53 AM
eh, maybe we're all weird, cause I do that too, and usually I only plan on how to steal things I dont want anyways so I wont be tempted to actually try it  :D ;)

the star rail at our school isn't really a rail....its more like one of those counters that just "materialize" out of the wall, but dont have any cabinets or anything, and goes down at a slant so you can.....uhhh, I guess slide down....it really serves no other purpose, its like it was made for sliding down....

plus, my mom's a teacher, so I'm at school after school a lot when all the teachers are in their respective rooms planning and scheming their evilness whilst I put mine into action! muahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah!!!
