Ok this thread will be for formal debates inside the guild. In here you can issue a challenge to a certain person or issue an open challenge to ever will accept. You can also accept challenges in here.

All debates in here will be judged on to see who is a winner. Concerning Judges. There will be three judges to each debate. Only members can be judges but guests can accept open challengs but not issue challenges. Judges are voluntary. To be a judge just say you will be one after the people who will be debating are decided. After the debate is finished all of the judges will then figure out the winner by talking amoungst eacher other. (Not sure yet if it will be by PMs or by in this thread.)

Ground Rules
Only one debate at a time. Each debate must consist of no more then two teams. A debate can be one vs. one, two vs two, etc. etc. Time limit will be decided on before each debate begins.

EDIT: this thread is for issue ing challenges and setting up the debate. After all of the predebate work is finished the debate will take place on a seperate thread.

Did not that Beleg person over here challenge anybody to a one on one type debate? I thought that the person had some topic ready.

The problem is that I had an Elvish/Manish topic ready, however seeing that this Guild is Centered Aroud Dwarves I tried looking around for A Dwarvish Topic but till now have not been successful.

What about,

Well, I don't see any rule around here that says we're only allowed to have debates based on Dwarves. oh well. Maybe this The_Swordmaster person can enlighten us. Anyways, Mim wasn't evil. The way you introduce the topic makes it look like a discussion. There has to be something to debate about.

Well there is no rule about the topic of the debate. Ok there is one rule it has to be Tolkien related. It does not have to be about dwarves but it is suggested that it ius dwarf related since this is the Guild of Dwarves.

Yes this is a debate between the two of us. But if you want Maedhros do you want this to 2 vs. 2? That way YayGollum can talk about this topic.

I'm currently waiting for Maedhros to reply to my last post. So I don't know when.
