Hello all!

Been away for a long time, sorry!

If you don't know me, I'm 16 years old and just made a new look (sort of, just new buttons...) for my site. My gallery of artworks (http://kurwandor.com/ho/gallery.html)

Enjoy! :D

I LOVE it!!

Questions: When you say graphite you mean pencils, no? What kind of pencils? What hardness *knows that's not the right word* and in that one picture of the young ruler he's blue...how did you do that? Blue pencil? (Stupid question...maybe! ;))

And also what kind of coloured pencils do you use, and what kind of ink etc. :)

Luthien - thanks a lot :) :D

Wonko - yes when i say "graphite" it was done in pencils. I use Derwent Graphic pencils. you can find them in art stores.

Hardness? I range from the very hard (5H and 3H) which is very light in value to sketch out the drawing. Then i use a HB or a 2B (softer) to get the details and finish the drawing. The darkest parts i used a 9B which is the darkest and thus, the softest.

And yeah, they have many diffrent colors for pencils. Blue is mainly used in reproductions because blue dosnt show up in Xerox copying so most artists use blue to sketch in the figures and etc.

You really should go see the larger image on his website, spirit.

Thank you for the info! I only have 4 sketch pencils, they're not Derwent...though I know the brand...

Anyway, I guess my question was what type of coloured pencils did you use? Is that just any type of coloured pencil, or is it like a special tinted type of graphite pencil?

Because I don't think coloured pencils are usually graphite.

:) Thanks for the info again!

Hmm wow Isenho, that's really good. I was just wondering, how much time do you typically spend on your art work?

Scatha and Spirit, thanks! :D

Wonko - your welcome! I used wax-based Primas colored pencils.

Mara- thank you.
for simple pieces, it would be a day or two. For the t-shirt drawings, about a week. For the larger sized pictures, about 2 months on and off. I usually work on 2 pieces at the same time.
