what is the most irritating/stupid/evil thing someone has said to you just because you're an outcast, and they want you to know that you're an outcast and they're not, eventhough you know your an outcast and proud to be one...as if being an outcast is a bad thing?

Well, a stupid thing one person did was that he asked me if my hair was naturally black. I was superly confused since I never thought that I seemed like the type that wouldn't be content with the way they look, but I told the guy that it was natural. He said that it was weird to see a white guy with black hair. Since when?

Iv'e been called weird many times, by many different people. I don't let it bother me. Also, people won't quit calling me mean, and nasty, and horrible, and all kinds of things that imply that Im not nice.

I've been called antisocial before. I'm not antisocial, I'm just shy!!!:( Yeah, I've been called weird a lot. And people make fun of my clothes sometimes. Especially my flannel pants that have a different pattern on each leg. Most of the nasty comments I've encountered in my life were in grade school and middle school, people don't often say things like that to my face anymore. Most things I hear from other people.

I get called anti-social all the time! But I don't mind it, really. Still, you're right, there is a difference between anti-social and shy. Umm...clothes. Yes, I get made fun of for clothes, too. I only wear jeans, as far as pants go, and most of those have holes in them. And then a T-shirt or sweatshirt. But I don't care. I'm not trying to be some diva or hot chick or whatever. I like my casual style. :)
Ohhh...good thread. Let's see. Well, there was one time, back when I was semi-social, before I had seen the light (heh), when a bunch of my old friends wanted to sit in this one spot with some semi-popular people. So, since they were my friends, I went with them, even though I didn't particularly like the people they were with. And those evil wanna-be popular people gave me their little sizing up looks and one of the girls said, believe it or not, "Oh...you can't sit here. You're...well...you're not...oh, I can't say it."
I knew what she wanted to say, though. "You're not cool enough." Psh. As if actually *gasp* saying the words "not cool" would scar her for life. Give me a break. But oh crackers, I'm purely anti-social now, don't have to deal with stupid people like that.
A lot of the insults I get aren't really spoken. They're just looks. Those evil looks that popular/social/cool people will give when they're thinking that they're so much better than you. Those bug the heck out of me. I guess it's best to just learn how to ignore it. But it really makes me want to leap on them and whack the living daylights out of them with my bottle collection, heh.

Yeah I can totally relate to that. When I bump into my old school friends (some of them are married with children) they always say with this notunderstanding face-expression - and you are still studying or - Oh, you are with books again. Well I`m sorry for thinking that my brains could be actually used somewhere other than the kitchen:mad: Next time I see someone like that I`ll tell her (cause they are usualy females) to go and make another baby instead of expessing opinions about my life.
I like this thread. Why are people so cruel. why do they think that their lifestyle is the only one that is right? That`s a ritorical question I guess.

Mostly the world and I mutually ignore each other- the world at large, that is, seeing as how I only hang out with cool people like y'all- but every once in a while I will, for whatever reason, be interacting with a 'normal' person and they will just stop and say 'You are so. weird." Replies are usually along the lines of "Thank you, I do try" "Yes, I'm gifted" and "I was born with it. Runs in the family, you know."
A long time ago, before I worked it out that I was the cool one and they were just deluded, I got burnt by a clique of girls at my church- I was new and homeschooled and a giant (I looked 15 at 10) and a absolutely miserable because of moving away from Georgia where I was happy and had a best friend to Illinois where I was not and had no friends- and they had all been there forever and went to school together and were skinny and blonde and very content to stay just as they were. I certainly wasn't being likeable- I wouldn't have liked me at that age, I was a horrible little brat- but they were pretty awful too. I read a whole lot of fantasy then and spent a lot of time writing and talking to myself (the journals from that period are utterly humiliating). The one thing I remember, though, was one of the girls coming up and warning me that everyone was saying that I was stuck-up, so that I wouldn't get real upset if I heard it from an adult or something.
The other thing I remember, which wasn't really a horrible thing someone said to me, was that I told a girl I thought her cousin was horrid (and he was- I was his target and he was an awful little *bleep*). She had apparently never heard the word horrid before, because she thought I had called him a prostitute. That was weird.

No! No no no! I would rather have someone come straight up to me and tell me how stupid they think I am and how much they hate me then have them skulk around behind my back, shoot their cooler-than-thou looks at me, and whisper pointedly when I'm around. URGH...when that happens, I...just...want...to...

Well, stuck up is about the same thing as arrogant. Oh, yes. People said I was crazy for sitting up straight. I was raised in an evil and private and snooty Christian school where they brainwashed us to have good posture. oh well. Slouching is uncomfortable to me. Is that a bad thing? Whoops!
Let me see here. Got it. Sure, it's always better when people say how evil they think you are to your face, but it's still easy to ignore the looks, then just think less of the person for being evil in that way. I respect someone that would tell me how evil I am. If they don't, why should I care?

yes, exactly! Those are the comments that actually bother me, because I don't like being so quiet, but I just cant' help it. Around my friends I can be pretty noisy, but it's hard to make new friends because I have such a hard time talking to people. And very few people just come up to me and start talking. Yeah I can't always help it if I am quiet. Usually it only happens at school where people say things like that to me but around like my really close friends that I have known for years I am leader of talk with them. Sometimes I hear the comment "hey are you done talking yet" I do have trouble making friends just because I am less inclined to talk to new people. It has been pretty hard starting HS this year to make friends. But then 80% of the whole school is stuck up brats and snobs so I guess I wouldn't want to be friends with too many people here.

Being homeschooled does mean that I've gotten to miss out on the nonesense connected with public school (and I had lots more time for reading), because mostly I was interacting with other homeschoolers (not many my age, my parents were among the earlier ones), and adults. I get on well with adults, for the most part. It's teens I have trouble with. Most of the aboved mentioned reactions I got either from people in my Sunday school classes, or from the classes I took at the base HS in Japan. One of the perks of homeschooling is that it's ok to be a recluse.

Whew that is good stuff. I was homeschooled for 6 years myself. Yeah maybe people think it is a ton different from regular school but it's not that much. I had "some" friends (other homeschoolers) but they were such snobs I really didn't like hanging out with them much. I think one of the reasons I feel more outcasted at school is cuz I came there after 6 years of homeschooling and had no friends at all. Now all the friends I have are outcasts too. As for avatars...here's something that Jam told me that helped me out. Go to google.com, image search, then advanced search. From there, specify that you want the image icon-sized, then type in whatever kind of image you want, and the search engine will help you find it. :) Hope that helps some...

My question had to do with both of the things you listed, scary Annushka person. Why are people vilent? Why do people get violent specifically when they decide to pretend they get to be judges? sorry for the confusion. Maybe they're just evil. I like to run away from violent people.
Dragon
05-08-2003, 02:12 AM
well, I like to believe that violence is a natural instinct, but maybe its just me.... it has nothing to do with pretending to be a judge, because no one is really fully qualified to jusdge anyone anyways.
also, people experience pain, and they dont want to feel it again, so they dont do whatever it was that got them hurt.....if they do....they're stupid....
whatI dont like is when people are mean to others w/out even having a reason to be....I mean like when you haven't ever even met someone b4 and u r mean to them for nothing
YayGollum
05-08-2003, 06:26 AM
Hm. Running away is also a natural instinct. Why do some people choose the more evil instinct? oh well. just wondering. Anyways, people always have a reason for violence. As far as I know. Even if it doesn't have to do with the person being messed with.

also, evilness is a matter of opinion...although most people are in agreement about what is evil, there are always the villianish people that disagree

Ah. Got it. sorry about that. oh well. Crazily scary people that get mad instead of staying in their right minds and being safe. Whoops! Anyways, to get back on topic, people have called me gay for not acting like every other teenaged guy and having the irresistable urge to jump on every girl I ever see.

Thanks a lot. That really helped:) As soon as I choose an avatar I`ll use your directions:) Can`t wait for that.
Yay, actually the fact that you don`t jump on every girl around works for you. I hate and have absolutely no respect for the guys that can`t control themselves and think about nothing else. I have a friend whom I love very much. But unfortunately he has one little flaw:) Whenever we hang out with him and other girls he falls for one of them without making any difference. Sometimes that`s so annoying I can`t take it:(
Anyway, you`re your own person and you don`t pay any attention to such stupid remarks;) BTW, imagine that instead of you there is someone helpless and volnurable. Don`t these people deserve the worst things in the world. And this is not judging. It`s just my personal opinion.

yeah, people used to call me a lesbian for the opposite reason. the fact that i've been with a guy for over five years now is probably the only reason i never hear that anymore.
last night i came home and there was a message from a wrong number on my phone. some girl said "what the h*** was that?!", probably in response to my answering machine. i thought my message was rather creative, but apparently not everyone thinks that. i thought it was rather silly that someone left that message, though.

I'm just saying what people say to me. I could care less. I'm just moving the thread along. Yikes, scary Annushka person! That last thing you said made me think! Stop that! oh well. The helpless and vulnerable people need to grow some confidence. Anyways, kohaku person, are you able to say what's on your answering machine? Funny messages are always cool.

Well it's not that funny, but it's more than just "leave a message." You ever watch Animaniacs? It begins with some music from one of their songs, then I say something like " i don't know where I'm at right now, but leave a message and I'll call you back", and then you hear Wakko saying "Hey! Let's get some ice cream!" I guess that would sound weird to normal people:p

Who are normal people? I have no idea if I`m normal, but I think your message is funny:)

Well I suppose "normal" is a vague term, I don't use it too literally, just to mean non-outcasty people... people who have a lot of traits and ideas that the majority of the people around them have.
If you're here, you probably don't fit my idea of "normal" (take as a compliment:D )

Cheers for you, Yay! Plagues on the typical teenage boy...you'll find that you'll be a lot more respected in the long run with the path you're taking now. Ignore the stupid comments from ignorant people.
And cheers for fun answering machine messages! :D I did the message on my friend's cell phone at two in the morning, and we were both a little hyper, so it says, "Hello. You've reached Ashley's refrigerator. Her answering machine can't come to the phone right now, but if you leave a message, she'll try to get back to you as soon as possible. Please start talking after the sound of the frozen turkey." And then there's the sound of me making a demented squawking sound and Ashley (my friend :p) giggling in the background.

Ha! That's great Kailita! I think that's cool when people put weird messages on their phones.
I was thinking it would be cool to take like a poll and see how many people would call themselves "normal." I wonder how it would turn out?.!?.!
Annushka
05-12-2003, 04:55 PM
You mean here in GOO or somewhere else? Anyway, it sounds interesting:)
Kailita
05-12-2003, 07:55 PM
Ick! Normal. *Cringes*
If you took a poll about that here in GOO, you definitely wouldn't find any normal people. If you took it somewhere else...you probably wouldn't get too many normal people, either. Even non-Outcasts (or Outcasts in denial ;)) don't want to think of themselves as normal...they all want to be achingly special.

heheh, that reminds me of some wacky psycological helpline thing which wasnt reallly a helpline, just something someone had recorded...uh, let me try to remember;
welcome to the psychiatric hotline.
please press 1 repeatedly if you have obsessive-compulsive disorder.
please get someone else to press 2 for you if you are co-dependant.
please press 3,4,5,and 6 if you have multiple personality disorder.
if you have chronic depression, it does not matter which button you press; no one will answer.
if you are paranoid; we know who you are and where you live, please stay on the line so we can track this number...
...I dont know what the rest is, because that's where I hung up.....really (I am a little paranoid... )

Let's see now. Just today my friend and I were hanging out in the empty lot near my house, and these arrogant, smart-mouth, 5th grade, potty-mouthed, insulting little...*starts swearing violently*girls came along. Just cause we were laughing at inside jokes and being outcasty and crazy people, they started being really nasty to us. I am proud to say that we gave as good as we got, and perhaps better. the insults consisted of calling us sluty, skanky, fat-@$$, crazy, possesed, $***-face, retards, dorks, outdated, geeks, out-of-style, flunking kindergarten, accusing us of making out(I was telling her a secret in her ear, for heavans sake!), accusing us of being jealous of not having boyfriends, etc. the list goes on and on and on and on and on and...You get the idea. They ticked me off sooooooooooooo bad. then, as we rode away on our bikes, one little rude, stuck-up girl SPIT on me and my bike! I wanted to hop off my bike and beat her to a bloody pulp right there in the road, but I couldn't, of course. They royally ticked mr off.

yikes, that sounds bad >.< ..stupid twits...
I'm glad you didn't beat to "bloody pulp" ;) though, that would only make them the "victims", if you get my point...
hmpf, the other day these girls on my basketball team called me a "wanna-be outsider", just because I wasn't walking RIGHT next to them, hand-in-hand, arm-in-arm, laughing and giggling and shouting inmature insulting things to by-passers...
oh well.

The other day at lunch at school, we were eating outside and there were abunch of seagulls swooping by us, so Celebrochwen, thindraug_2 and i fed them with our potato chips. we threw them away from us onto the blacktop, and a big group of popular girls were sitting there and one yelled at us "Stop feedin' the seaguls!"
And i yelled back "We're not!" cause we wern't at that moment. We HAD been, but not right then. Anyway, one girl gave me a scathing lokk and said,"Don't get smart with me, girl" I mocked her to her back, but as soon ass he turned around, i put on the perfect meek servitude look. It was sooooooooo funny. we started laughing so hard at them when they screamed when the seagulls came near them. they're BIRDS for heavans sake.
My friends and I are the neighborhood psychopaths, and no-one likes us. *sniff :( *

Whoa whoa whoa...you got dissed by fifth graders, Treyar? With those kind of insults? Whoa...those elementary school kids are getting brutal. :o (What grade are you in, Treyar?) Wish I would have been there. I would have helped you trash can them. ;)
Ick, Ithilin, I know the feeling you're talking about, and I hate it. Just call yourself a loner and be proud of it. ;) You're an individual.
Cheers for neighborhood psychopaths!

well, this past year in eighth grade, there is this evil boy named Mark. How I loathe him! *gouges long streaks in the desk just thinking of him* he decided from day one that he didin't like me and thus proceeded to attempt to make my life miserable (it didn't work to well :p )In aprox. a month I went from "Tim's girlfriend" (tim is one of my best friends in the whole world and not my boyfriend-he is on here as cullach), to lesbian to crossdresser, to crossdressing lesbian, to slut to witch to moron back to lesbian, back to crossdresser, back to slut, to whore to skank to freak (oh, that one's original, huh? ;) ) back to witch back to slut and finally back to Tim's girlfriend. Can't he make up his mind? Really, there are very few slutty, crossdressing freaky lesbian whore/witches that still date guys, and I severly doubt that any of them go to Woodland Middle school. Also, something that just made it more confusing, was that I was never sure if i was going up or down on his mental list. LOL that's all, folks! :p ;) :D :)

oh, yeah, and it is kind of funny because I am in this play and in it my character is a Goth and none of the other characters like her much. In this one scene, we are all sleeping around this campfire (don't ask) and they are all sleeping with their heads towards the fire and mine is away from all of them and later we're sitting up around the fire and I have to 'cheat out' to the audience so that they can see me so everyone else is in a little ring outside the fire and i am all sitting just beyond them. It all happened unintentionally, and they are all my good friends, but somehow, the way the blocking went I am totally outcasted by all of them. It is a really weird coincidence. :D
