Gandalf the Grey, Gandalf the White, that name they call him in Gondor, ect. Gandalf had a veriety of names and I wanted to point that out. Any more names will be helpful. In here we can talk about Gandalf's names and how he got them.

Off the top of my head: Olórin, Stormcrow, White Rider, Láthspell, Tharkûn, Mithrandir, Incánus, Grey Fool, and Grey Pilgrim. :)
There might be others I missed, or that I do not know of (perhaps HoME: PoMe has something about further names?).
I haven't said so before, so: Welcome to TTF, Sabeen!! :)

The only place Gandalf really doesnt have a name is the East, because as we all know to the East good old Gandalf does not go.

Unfinished Tales, The Istari:Olor is a word often translated 'dream', but that does not refer to (most) human 'dreams', certainly not the dreams of sleep. To the Eldar it included the vivid contents of their memory, as of their imagination: it referred in fact to clear vision, in the mind, of things not physically present at the body's situation. (...) These discussions of olos are clearly to be connected with the passage in the Valaquenta where it is said the Olórin dwelt in Lórien in Valinor, and that 'though he loved the Elves, he walked among them unseen, or in the form as one of them, and they did not know whence came the fair visions or the promptings of wisdom that he put into their hearts.'

And a little tidbit: Incánus = 'South-spy'.
