What's that G stand for in your little location thing? oh well. No, this isn't okay. It would have been cooler if you had something to actually talk about in here. *hides*

Can we invent something to talk about? Like dating? Or cars? Or drinking?
Sarah
04-28-2003, 09:02 PM
the g stands for gloversville, but g'ville is easier to write. and sorry for posting then.
YayGollum
04-28-2003, 09:45 PM
Got it. just wondering. Because people are always saying G'ville, South Carolina over here instead of Greenville. oh well. Anyways, it's no big deal that you made this thread. It just would have made more sense for you to have a topic ready. oh well. Since this is your thread, why don't you come up with something? I wasn't trying to be evil. *sniff*
Ice Man
04-28-2003, 10:31 PM
Beware, YayGolum is the supreme evilness! he's evil even when he doesn't want to. :)
YayGollum
04-28-2003, 10:37 PM
Ack! Well, yes, that's true. oh well. I wasn't trying to be. That doesn't count for anything? *sniff* I guess not. You can see what I mean, right? I don't get why anyone would make a thread without a real topic. *hides* I'm just asking this person what they'd be interested in.
Sarah
04-28-2003, 11:49 PM
uh i really don't know. I just wanted to get myself noticed.

Yay, why are you so mean?
We can use this thread for something else without making evil remarks, can`t we:)
Sarah, don`t pay attention to Yay`s mood. He`s a really nice person:D and he always welcomes people here. so do other members of GOO:)
YayGollum
04-29-2003, 10:20 AM
What did I do that was mean? I thought I was being nice by asking what this Sarah person had in mind for this thread instead of just PMing some moderator to come along and delete the thing since I didn't see a use. *hides* Anyways, I suggested for this person to come up with an idea for the thread.

Yay for new Outcasts! :D Hello Sarah! :) I think I've seen you around in some other places before now...
You people listen to Sarah and be nice to her, she's got some good things to say, if I remember some of her past posts correctly.

Why not just edit your first post if you're going to post right after yourself? just wondering. Ack! I'm being evil again, aren't I? oh well. It looks like this person has decided what this thread is to be about. It's all about the Sarah person. Got it. Hm. I hope you're an achingl interesting person. Let me see here. Are you planning to pursue a career in acting?

YayGollum
05-02-2003, 12:24 AM
Ick. Teaching annoying little kids? Having more responsibility that lots of people? Not getting much money for it? No thanks. oh well. Yes, become an actor. Go get an Oscar. Sounds like fun.
Kailita
05-02-2003, 02:40 AM
*Warning tone* Yay...stop being evil...
Cheers for acting! And teaching little kids can be fun if you have the right mindset. A very unYayish mindest.
YayGollum
05-02-2003, 03:20 AM
Ack! What did I do that was evil? Saying what I thought about something without being asked to? Should I pretend to be sorry? Why wouldn't you expect a reaction to an answer? oh well. Anyways, it's not my fault that kids hate poor Smeagol.
Sarah
05-02-2003, 09:08 PM
Actually I know a kid who loves Gollum (aka smeagol) he's about 10 and he plays Winthrop in the community production of the Music Man. He's into LOTR too. He just finished the Hobbit and guess what his fav chapter is.
YayGollum
05-02-2003, 10:16 PM
Riddles In The Dark? :D That's my favorite. Then the thing with Beorn. That guy's the coolest. Anyways, Yay for other Gollum Fans! Too bad my old Gollum Fan Club was deleted. *sniff* I loved my opening post. *bawls* oh well. When I was saying that thing about it not being my fault that kids hate poor Smeagol, I was talking about myself. Sometimes we do that. Whoops!
Sarah
05-02-2003, 11:04 PM
Good guess yay, u were right. It's his (and my) fav chapter.
YayGollum
05-03-2003, 02:25 AM
Uh, huh. Got it. Let me see here. Doobedoobedoo... how else can I pretend to be interested in this person? What is your favorite food?

Guild of Outcasts--GOO!
Thats sooo funny!
Can I be a member of GOO? (Mostly because I like the initials)
:D
Hi, Sarah (Sorry to get off topic there. What is the topic anyways?)
What's your fav word??
I like the suffix -ness.
As in, "Thats so weirdness!'
'Coolness'
'hahaness'
'Tolkienness'
sorryy. *Calmly exits the room*
*shouts of random words are heard with an occasional 'ness' thrown in.*
*Calmly enters the room*
Soooo, how is everyone?
Did you express the joy of having a favorite suffix today?
YayGollum
05-03-2003, 04:09 AM
Sure, you can join. Why not? The topic of this thread is the Sarah person, but oh well. No big deal. Yes. Welcome. Have fun.
Kailita
05-03-2003, 06:43 AM
Welcome to GOO, Goldberry. :)
Yippee, someone who shares my love for the suffix -ness! :D I also use -ish and sometimes I combine them and make -ishness. *Gasp!* :D
Favorite words...I have a lot of favorite words...:D But I think that that might belong in Outcast Things Done. Is picking favorite words an Outcast thing to do...?
Raithnait
05-03-2003, 06:52 AM
Does it count if my favorite words are the ones I made up for my new language?(In said language any word can be turned into a suffix or preffix... my favorite suffix/preffix would have to be either "poi" or "ori")
Kailita
05-03-2003, 06:55 AM
Ooh, yay for made up languages! :D So much fun! I think that might also count as an Outcast Thing Done...
Sarah
05-03-2003, 01:32 PM
FAv food? Pizza.
Fav word? Not quite sure....um.... i dunno...
YayGollum
05-03-2003, 11:36 PM
Hm. Too bad this thread is all about the Sarah person. oh well. Let me see here. How else can I pretend to be interested?  What aspect of LOTR type stuffs are you interested in?
Dragon
05-04-2003, 04:53 AM
hmm... I make up my own suffixs and prefixs a lot, but I use ish all the time..... I also say ishk a lot.....it can mean anything from "Get away from me you creep!!!" to "awesome...."hehe...cool, huh?
oops....this thread isn't about me.......oh well, now it is...
ps to yay, dont sya you are pretending to be interested, or it ruins your "facade" (<--- thats a funny word) of interestendness
YayGollum
05-04-2003, 08:52 AM
Yes, I know. I really should stop that evil hobbit. I always pronounce that word ---> Fay Kade. Is that evil?
Sador
05-04-2003, 09:09 AM
I think I went to school with Fay Kade....
Don't listen to them Yay, you pretend to be as interested as you like.

I don't understand the question.
Dragon

clarification: are you interested in the hobbit, the trilogy, the simarillon(sp?)?
YayGollum
05-05-2003, 12:01 AM
I wondered for about two seconds if there was somebody called Fay Kade. oh well. Anyways, Yay for pretending to be as interested as I like! I always do. Why not? Also, sure, I guess this Dragon person's translation could work, but it could also mean things like ---> Are you into the books or the movies or the games or certain characters or what?
Sarah
05-05-2003, 12:48 AM
My friend and I used to compare each other to ourselves and characters in LOTR. He would compare himself to Sam (never giving up on anyone) and He would compare me to Pippin (always belittling himself, but knows he can do better). I compared to me Gollum (can't remember my reason now) and him to Aragorn (can't remember that reason either, actually). Turns out this so called "Sam" moved away and won't even tell me where he is. Arg. Men suk. (sorry yay).
YayGollum
05-05-2003, 01:08 AM
No big deal. I agree with you. Unless you acutally mean that every single male is evil. oh well. Let me see here. So your main interest in LOTR type stuffs is comparing people to characters? Since you compare yourself to Pippin, I'm guessing that he's one of your favorites?
Sador
05-05-2003, 05:39 AM
So Sarah, ever tried dressing up as your favourite LOTR character and going to the shops to buy a loaf of bread and then complaining that it isn't proper Elf lembas? Particularly effective if you are a Gimli fan(bakers hate axes):)
Sarah
05-05-2003, 07:37 PM
HEHEHE, that's pretty funny.
Yay,
All but one guy I've ever met are evil. and yeah pip is my fav in the books, tho in the movies I'd have to say Aragorn. (Altho I felt that he would have been better off w/ Eowyn (In the books too)). I've been in her position b4, I know what it's like. (Which is why guys are evil!!!
YayGollum
05-06-2003, 03:27 AM
But not all males. Got it. Phew! Anyways, where'd that huge Eowyn fan get to? She'd have something to say to your crazy idea of that character.
Kailita
05-06-2003, 07:57 PM
I believe you're referring to Rhiannon, Yay. I assume she's rearranging her TBR stack or the like...
Dragon
05-07-2003, 01:18 AM
what does TBR mean?
Kailita
05-07-2003, 08:22 PM
Heh...Yay just asked the same thing in another thread...
TBR = To Be Read

I am superly achingly happy to hear that I'm not the only oblivious Outcast. Anyways, a question to this Sarah person, since this is obviously the coolest Outcast ever ---> How many of the other threads in this guild are you interested in? Or do you just like talking about yourself? No offense. That's always fun for me. :D
Dragon
05-08-2003, 02:14 AM
yes, yay is COMPLETELY arrogant and self-centered..... but, after a while, you get used to it...
YayGollum
05-08-2003, 06:27 AM
Wait a minute, crazy person. That superly cool personality thing says that my huge gift of self-confidence can seem like arrogance to some people, but it's not. :D
Sarah
05-08-2003, 09:30 PM
Really none of the other guilds, which is why I'm here. I don't fit in in the other guilds.
YayGollum
05-09-2003, 12:08 AM
I wasn't asking about the other guilds. I was asking about what threads you were interested in in this guild. Or in any other section. Not especially the guilds. I would think that if you were interested in Tolkien type stuffs, you'd be posting all over the place. oh well. I'm happy to give you at least one thread to have fun in.
Sarah
05-09-2003, 12:47 AM
Oh ok. I must have misread. Actually, I haven't really paid attention to the other threads, cuz I'd be popping in in the middle, and in order to catch up on the convo, I'd have to start from the beginning and that's too much work.
YayGollum
05-09-2003, 12:56 AM
Oh. I didn't think it was a huge deal. just looking at the first post in the thread should tell you what it's about. Sometimes we get off topic, so having some new person come in and bring up the first discussion we had will get us back on track. Whatever you decide. Let me see here. Another achingly interesting question for this achingly interesting person ---> Who was the real hero of LOTR? :D

How can you be self-confident, arrogant, and quiet about it all at the same time? doesn't make much sense to me. oh well. Good luck with that, crazy person. *hides*
Sarah
05-09-2003, 08:50 PM
The true hero??? Hmm do I want to get on yay's good side? Nah, I prefer honesty. sorry yay. but my answer is....

Well, I'll take your word for it, Dragon lady. Anyways, Whoops! Maybe I should have tossed a 'and why?' at the end of that question about who the real hero is. oh well. Why do you think that the evil sam is the real hero? That doesn't make much sense to me. Since this thread is all about you, I might just hold off the long Gollum rant to show you the truth.
