Anyone know Quenya and willing to check?

Hi,

Having completed the first five lessons on Ardalambion, I thot I could set in my mind all the rules and stuf...

I was going to write some random sentances that wernt in the exercises; Would anyone be willing to check them for me?

(BTW, I have no idea how to do the accents and junk on here so just ignore spelling pertaining to that pleeze!)

I more tari caitea nu i talan "The black queen lies under the floor"(I am using black as in 'dark','evil', not 'African-American'. Can I do that? Should I just say 'dark'?)

I hendu na more "The pair of eyes is black"(Should I use 'na' for a single pair, or 'nar' for plural eyes? Also, can I say the eyes are black? Am I talking about the iris, or am I saying eyeballs?)

oh and also some duals (Ok, I know the -t or -u is used only for a natural pair but I get very confusded on these and I will just use normal words.(Often very random and strange ones to practice pairs with. "a pair of floors...") just tell me if I am using the wrong thing pweeze...


hendu "pair of eyes"
rancu "pair of arms"
aiwet "pair of birds"
andu "double gate(?), pair of gates"
ciryat "pair of ships"
talamu "pair of floors"
vendu "a pair of maidens"
Tasaru "a pair of willows"
aldu "a pair of trees"



Also, when you use a dual form does the rest of the sentance become plural???

for example is "a pair of dead birds" aiwet firini??? or aiwet firin?

Also is that word order correct?
A pair of birds dead?
