I'm reading BOLT1 these days and I found something:
Wherefore is it that morn I felt as Omar the Vala who knows all tongues.......
Omar -youngest of the great Vala, called also Amillo.
Ok,I heard for first time of him. What else can you tell me about him?

Here is what C.T has to say about him:
Some new persons appear in this passage. Omar the Vala who 'knows all tounges' did not survive in Lost Tales; a little more is heard from him subsequently, but he is a divinty without much substance.... BoLT 1; Music of the Ainur
He was problably dropped when Tolkien began to revise the Lost Tales in preperation of the new Quenta, though he does make a appeance in some latter chapters of BoLT 1, such as 'The Tale of Sun and Moon'
Later he is said to be brother of Salmar, who was said in the latter legendarium to have created Ulmo's horns the Ulumuri.
It seems that this Valar, one of Music song perhaps was dropped by tolkien, together with other Valar such as Makar and Measse the two gods of war.
