I don't know what I'll do, but I do know I want to get together with my friends and bet a little bit drunk.
So, what will you do this weekend?
What do you want to do this weekend?
I'll post in this thread Monday, letting you know how was the weekend of you fellow crazy Latin-Lover-Outcast.

I won't be doing much this weekend. Tomorrow, my evil mom lady will wake me up too early for my liking, I'll volunteer at the hospital until about 11:30 at night, then I'll show up here before running away to bed. Sunday, I'll go to church, then defend my title of ---> The Best Couch Potato In The Family.

Will you dedicate any time to go pimping?

Purposefully taking that last post seriously even though I happen to be thoroughly confused as to why it showed up at all ---> Nope. What made you think of that?

Oh yeah, Arcanjo. With Yay being Yay...that makes perfect sense.
Let's see. Friday (today; most of which has already past) I helped out at my church with the preschoolers. Had enough bubble solution blown/poured into my hair to last me a lifetime and guarantee stringy hair all weekend. But it was worth it to have those fat little kids cracking up at my face as I raked my fingers through my hair then tackled three of them at a time. Gah, I love preschoolers...
Saturday I'll watch my friend show her lamb for a special 4H type thing. She'll like the support. And it's her birthday that day, so maybe we'll do something after that.
Sunday I'll go to church, post in TTF inbetween services, then get home and do my best to put off doing my math homework.
So...what is the point of this thread? I mean...won't it be useless by the time Monday rolls around...?

You are way too cranky to be able to have fun in here.
I'm just trying to have a bit fun and see what you guys do on your weekends. Since we are outcasts, I was expecting to see you guys reply with some very weird and unusual activities. Guess I shouldn't be excpecting that much.
And what's with all the  ? Has Yay been telling you how to use them? :D
Yay, don't worry, I was just fooling around...

Ooh, ouch. *Clutches her heart* That one cut straight through me...:p I'm not cranky, I'm reasonable. Senseless threads irk me. This thread is not senseless yet. But when the weekend is over, what will we do with it? Crackers. Guess I'm the only one who thinks about that kind of stuff. :o
And since when is Yay the only one who can use the infamous  face? Yay is famous for his use of that particular face, but the rest of us are allowed to tamper with it every now and then.

Yes, yes, yes. I got it. Not a huge deal. If I had my creepy moderator powers over here, I'd change the title so we could talk about any weekend. oh well. Yay me for being famous for using ---> It is the most expressive! Anyways, I am now volunteering as I said I would be. The crazy recovery people have missed me from my long vacation. They gave me fruit and chicken. :D

uh! you got fruit and chicken? SO not fair!!! but I guess it sort of is, since I dont volunteer for hospitals and stuff like that:rolleyes:
ummm, this weekend, which is half over, so far has been spent sleeping and watching really wacked out shows on tv, playing a really under-advertised but awesome videogame w/ my little bro, then eating, sleeping, then I got on here, and ....here I am:rolleyes: thenI am going to sleep some more, and then I'm goin to wake up at about 11;00 tomorrow, and eat breakfast, immediately followed by lunch, probably play video games for about an hour, go to my cousins' wifes' baby shower, then go to see the matrix reloaded but, unfortunatley, due to crowds my dad plans to get there an hour early, and so I will have eaten my pickle half way thru the movie, whilst I'm usually sucking on it an hour after the end:rolleyes:
heheh, I've taken to drawing the:rolleyes: in random places....I love this little guy:D
.....as for volunteering....euh....I'm too lazy and mercenary...the closest I will ever do to that is become a life guard when I turn 16:rolleyes: I've already passed the life-guarding test, but due to child labor laws:rolleyes: I can't life-guard 'til I'm 16:rolleyes:

Once this weekend is over, we may talk about next weekend! :)

The weekend is almost over. But anyway I can still tell what I`ve done. Yesterday I was studying until 4pm:) After that I was sleeping cause my poor eyes were aching so much. In the evening I went for a walk to the nearest park. And today I went to the library which opens at 10am, got the materials I needed, now I`m here:D and am going to start studying again:( I`m so tired of that. The only thing that cheers me up is that in THREE days I`ll be FREE:):D And sure enough my next weekend would be more fun than this one;)
I have never eaten mexican food. I`ve tasted portugese some time ago which was DELICIOUS.
And :D guy I love the best. Well, is expressive but :D is funner. I`ve noticed that since I`ve been here I kinda use it in everyday life too:D

Yes, that :D dude is my second favorite because that's how I always smile for pictures since I hate having to force something that looks natural. Anyways, *gasp!* weekend alert! I'm sure you all care that my schedule is being changed for tomorrow! No church for poor Smeagol. His evil and annoying and popular little teenaged sister has decided that she'd rather not go at all. Something about missing it the last time and not knowing what's going on this time. I don't get it. Wouldn't she feel even more confused about that the next week? oh well.
Annushka
05-18-2003, 09:23 AM
Sure we care about changes in your schedule:rolleyes: :D But I don`t get this - why would your going to the church depend on your little sister??
YayGollum
05-18-2003, 09:26 AM
It doesn't especially. My evil mom lady just happened to agree with her this time. Maybe she likes sleeping late. Well, so do I. I just didn't get that insane reason for not going. oh well. There are lots of nasssty kidses that like to kick us in our shinses when we get to church, anyways.

It is Monday, the day Garfield hates and I'm not very found of. :-|
But at last I had a nice fun weekend!
Friday night I went out with my gf to the movies, but we arived late, so we simply rented a movie and watched it at my place.
Saturday I went to the park, ran with my best friend and watched some beach volleyball games. At night I went out for some mexican food with my gf and stayed with her at home too.
Yesterday I woke up early, watched the F1 race at television and then went back to the park with my best friend. Again we ran, watched some volleyball games and then we went to the house of our other friend. There we drank some beers with some other friends and some hot babes :D, we didn't drink enough to get drunk but enough to feel funny, later on we watched soccer on TV.
After the soccer game. I went to my gf's house and tok her out for a snack. We tried watching a movie again, but there were so many people that we decided to simply go home and hang out watching TV.
It was a normal weekend and I'm looking foward to the next one, because my birthday is on the 23rd. :D

Hm, I spent all day Saturday working on a project  but then I went out with a friend and we had a few margaritas (yummy). Then Sunday I went out with my boyfriend, we went out to lunch and to the Franklin Park Conservatory. I guess that's pretty outcasty because it's educational  . Of course at one point we were too busy fighting over a stick like little kids to learn anything :D . Fun stuff.
YayGollum
05-20-2003, 09:46 AM
Of course I wanted to go to church! Crazy people! I get to stand up in front of a crowd of people and talk! Or just do the usher thing. That's okay, I guess. Anyways, next weekend, I plan to do the exact same thing as this last one. Maybe I'll sneak down to the cafeteria of the hospital after it closes so I can grab some of the best food.

I spent the weekend in bed with the flu.:( Next weekend my kids are staying with me so I'll have to find something entertaining for them to do. Maybe church! I haven't been to church for thirty years, maybe your sister could bring me up to speed with whats been happening in there all these years.
Annushka

Flu is so BAD:(
Today is Tuesday but I have some great plans for the weekend. Me and my two friends are going to buy a bottle of Martini, olives and crackers, go to park and have some fun:):) Or maybe drinking alcohol in a park isn`t the best idea:D Anyway we can go to someone`s place:)
To tell the truth I can`t find anything entertaining in church too. Actually I never go there. But I`m pretty sure nothing new is going on there:D Anyway, Sador, are you sure your kids will have fun in a church?:) Just a suggestion;)

05-21-2003, 04:56 AM
Well I seriously doubt that my kids would enjoy church unless there is a jumping castle and an ice cream shop.
The only time they've been in a church was their cousin's christening and all they did was run around being a bit too loud.
I'll probably do my usual "mystery tour" thing where I take them for a drive, end up at a flea-market somewhere and have a laugh buying cheap toys and/or silly second-hand clothes. It's cheap and it's fun.

I invited my friends to go to my house tommorow noight, so we ca have a small get together and drink some beers, wine, tequila, whiskey... :D And I'll also borrow a karaoke from my friend and have some people singing, just for the fun of it.

This was my craziest weekend ever.
Making a very long story short...
My gf met the babe I'm attracted to (read this thread (http://www.thetolkienforum.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=11806) to find out more) at my birthday party friday night. At the party, some many attitudes of mine triggered my gf's 6th sense and she came to the conclusion there was something going on between the other woman and I.
She got very upset with me and, together with some other minor hapenings, we almost broke up on the phone Sunday night.
Some notes from my weekend are:
- the party at my house went to 5am;
- my friends and I drank a lot;
- saturday I went to a nightclub with all my friends to continue to celebrate my birthday, the other woman did not go;
- my gf got mad at me at the nightclub, because she thought I was flerting with this other babe, which I was not;
- on Sunday we watched Matrix Reloaded, I loved the movie.

ick...not good....
ok, I read the thread thingummer, but I'd rather respond here:rolleyes:
if you really love her, dont cheat on her, in fact, dont cheat on her anyways, pick one or the other, otherwise you will eventually lose them both. if you like your friend better, make sure you can have something w/ her, and break up w/ your gf. but if you like your gf better, forget about it:rolleyes: cheating is bad. it makes you feel guilty, and it makes them feel like they did something wrong, like you felt that they weren't good enough, and , well, generally bad...
I know this is pretty much the same as all the stuff that everyone else said, but it cant be emphasized enough
Ice Man

I'm feeling very weird...
I've been with my gf for over a three and half years, and I never had this kind of impulse, and I actually beleived I was beyond it. But now I'm find myself terribly attracted to this other woman, and it reminds me of how I was feeling towards my gf some weeked before we actualy started to date each other.
The weird thing is that I still love my gf, and being in her company is still a wonderfull thing. I haven't lost any respect or affection towards her, but I simply feel like doing something wild and adventurous. And now there's this woman here at work that turns my instincts on and makes me want to do crazy stuff.
I know cheating is something very low and not honerable at all and I'd hate to be cheated on, and that's why I've been holding myself back so far. But the doubt and dilema is still in my head, and I constabtly find myself wondring about all the "what-ifs" and the possibilities...
Dragon

do something wild and crazy w/ ur gf:rolleyes:
try to think about it logically, if you love ur gf, dont hurt her, u can do new and interesting stuff w/ her too, if u know cheating is bad, dont do it. I know how hard it is to resist an impulse, but when u know its wrong, that's where self control comes in
and dont feel bad about it either, I'm sure almost everyone has had at least one impuse to do something they shouldn't:rolleyes:

My work is plain and simple. I file for a lady from my church on Mondays after school from 3:30 to 5. It's easy work, and she lets me drink diet coke and listen to my music. :D Only pays about $10 a week, so I don't know if it's considered a real "job"...but hey, it's money, isn't it? And I go there every single week, so it's a constant job. And then I babysit when the need arises, but that's not really constant. It does pay fairly well, though. :D

I have a friend who isn`t really smart or anything but has an amazing memory. She remembers everything she reads without really understanding it of course. I think it`s called visual memory. That really helps her with the exams and stuff. I for example have a huge problem with names and dates.
My last birthday party was great. We went to a club and danced all night long. Sometimes it`s very relaxing.

I already said why I wasn't especially excited about my birthday. Because I will probably get let down. But then, even if I never ran into the crazy hope of getting to go to that RenFest thing, I wouldn't be especially excited about the birthday. Maybe I'm growing out of it? No, I think so into my miserliness that people spending money on me when they don't need to is disgusting now. oh well. I'll be eighteen. About cramming for ten chapters ---> You crazy. You actually forgot everything in all of those chapterses? And no crazy teacher types gave you anything besides the book to look at? I got all kinds of old tests to look at. Those are the only things you have to worry about. Easy to cram with.
Anyways, I usually hate all little kidses. Achingly annoying. Except for a few. I would say that the girlses are more evil, but then, I've known more.

Please Yay, little kids are not evil. They are just terribly annoying and ask thousands questions you can`t answer. And they cry from time to time. And if you`re babysitting you have to be extremely attentive so that nothing happens to them:( And if something does you feel so bad. I can`t imagine myself having childen.

I've never been any good at that game. Of course, I'm hardly good at any Nintendo game. That's all right. I'd rather watch and cheer than play anyway. :)

heheh, my little bro just came into the room, and saw that the gameboy was on, and said, "hey, you're playing and chatting?!", I said, "yeah, when the page loads, I play, and its not a chat room, its a forum" he says "oh, good luck chatting then...I mean, foruming"
gotta love little bros....well....I do...I get along really well w/ my little bro.....in fact, I get along well w/ everyone's little bro.......but, I dont do little sisters
Little brothers... They're great, but I would still give anything for a little sister. Just one. (*Adopts D as a little sis again* :D)
Please Yay, little kids are not evil.
You tell him, Shush. Here is my take on children. Of course they can be annoying and ask lots of questions. But if they didn't ask, they'd never find out the answers. Kids are great, you just have to remember what it was like at their age and the way you thought back then. Remember Yay, you were a child of six years old at some time or another. ;) I always try to remember to speak gently to kids, especially when I'm reprimanding them, because I remember that when I was little it would hurt my feelings so badly when someone would speak to me harshly, even if they weren't really angry with me. Crackers. Maybe I just have a good memory and can still recall my thoughts as a little kid.
The hardest part is being kind to younger siblings because you're around them 24/7 and you forget to think like they do and be nice. They get on your nerves a lot faster. Especially when they're ransacking your room and purposefully trying to bother you, like mine were last night. :o Ugh.

Children are wonderful, when they're far away from me. I have little or no tolerance for anyone kids under the age of ten. Maybe it's because it's difficult for me to imagine being a kid Kai. I was always one of those thick-skinned, six-going-on-sixteen types, so nothing really touched me, I never played with dolls I played boyish games because my Mom was a tomboy and she had not idea how to play girlish games with me, but mostly I'd want my parents to read to me. As soon as I learned to read, I easily went on to books way ahead of what everyone else was reading, so I couldn't relate that well to them. Plus, my parents were very strict with us and I quickly learned to behave when necessary, so I don't understand kids who jump around with tons of energy, getting into everything, since I was never allowed to be like that, nor did I really desire to be. So I have a difficult time with younger kids. Ten and over is fine.
Kailita

Funny that you would say ten and over. I think the age of ten was when I really started maturing...seeing the world in a different light...stepping out of my kid-cocoon. Whenever I write stories about kids, I always put them between the ages of 10 and 13. Most of those kids have this thing that I've called "12 year old logic". You don't have to be 12 to have it, but most 12 year olds do (or the ones that will grow up to be interesting Outcasts, anyway ;):D). When you're 10-13, you're old enough to understand most things, but young enough to hold onto your innocence and sincerity. You don't understand why everyone says life is so complicated. When you look at problems people have, the answer seems so clear and simple. If you made a bad grade, try harder next time. If your boyfriend dumped you, he wasn't worth it anyway. That is 12 year old logic.
I tend to like kids with the Jam-disposition more than the bounce-off-the-walls kids...but I have a long fuse, and even the difficult kids don't get under my skin too easily.

Yeah, I was popular with baby-sitters. When I was younger, all that would make me happy would be them reading a book to me and I'm not talking about kiddie books. My Mom read Hamlet and the Christmas Carol and books like that to us. When I was older, as long as they let me draw or read I'd be perfectly fine. Easy money for the teenagers, I guess.
Yeah, see I think I use all my tolerance on taking care of animals, so I don't have any left for kidses. Animals are cooler to me anyways, never had problems even with difficult petsitting jobs.

This weekend, me and about twenty people from my work are descending on a Turkish restaurant. There will be kebabs, falafel, houmous, tabouli and Belly Dancers.
There will also probably be a hangover some time on Sunday.
Annushka
06-21-2003, 05:43 PM
I have no idea about falafel, houmous, tabouli and Belly Dancers, but kebab is something I`m very familiar of. That`s a tasty thing especially if you eat it with LAVASH. That`s a special kind of bread. Anyway, this weekend is my Mom`s birthday. And we`re going out of town on Sunday. That`s so great, cause I haven`t been on the fresh air for almost one year.
YayGollum
06-22-2003, 02:44 AM
Well, I understood the kebab and belly dancing thing, but that's it. oh well. What's so great about going out of town? You're in an especially annoying and huge city or something? I have no idea. Going out of town = sightseeing beautiful country type views? I have no idea. oh well. Doobedoobedoo... it's the weekend. I am now volunteering at a hospital. Nothing's happening. I guess that's a good thing. My evil and annoying and popular little teenaged sister is leaving to live with my evil father for about two months. That's good.
Dragon

how many silblings do u have, yay?

What's so great about going out of town?

so, yay, u still have to deal w/ one sister?:o
Annushka
06-22-2003, 12:59 PM
Our plans were ruined cause it was raining all night long:( So we`ll have to stay at home. No fresh air for me:( My city is the capital. It`s not that big, but very noisy, hot and crowded (and I hate crowds).
Going out of town = sitting on the grass, eating barbeque with your family and friends and enjoying the silence .
There`s plenty of good in Yay`s heart. He just doesn`t think it should be demonstrated:)
As far as I remember he doesn`t have to deal with 2nd sister cause she doesn`t live with them. Yay for my memory:D
And it`s absolutely fine to correct me. I`ll never forget that it`s *familiar with* and not *of*.
English is not stupid. Compared to other languages it`s even easy and flexible:)
