all i did was beg until my mom and dad finally gave in and but me won.. but didnt you say you lived in the city... i live in the country and we own a 200 acre farm so we have plenty of room.. but still if you live in the city then you could board your horse somewhere if you ever get one.

yeah theres actually a boarding place for horses outside of town where I may be able to keep it.

ONe of my horses is a crop out paint (her dad was a paint but she doesnt have enough white on here) and the other is an arabian. Our family has about 30 horses. most of em are cutting horses. thats what we breed for. i reccommend a gelding if you do get a horse. they are sometimes better natured that mares. i don't show. i just ride. i'm bad at all the stuff i've tried neway. i go to my dad's to see my baby friday!!! i'm soooo exited. lil bit (the cropout) is a chesnut with 3 white socks and a blaze. i can't wait to ride!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yea we have all geldings except for the one mare with her filly of course...

well i would recomend a quarter horse, but thats just me.

I rode a quarter horse once he was a sweety but a bit stubborn :D I rode a really nice Apaloosa (spelling) she was cool :D

i'm sorry nef, maybe it would help if you found out where to board one and what kind you wanted and everything. i have found that if you make it easier for parents to give you stuff, you will often succeed. if you have any other pets, you could suck up by taking care of them...

horses are alot of work. minimum-feed, water, muck out stalls-and they have big poop, smelly too... not to mention all the attention you should give em... but i would rather clean a horse stall than a litter box, those things smell rancid... ick!

I have a bunch of cats.. most are outside so i only clean 1 litter box.... i live on a farm, so i have a lot of animals to take care of. and yea our dogs eats horse and cow poop.. really gross!!! ick!!

oh hey, i live on a ranch too. we only have two inside animals, a dog and a cat. both are unbelievably spoiled. i love my cat, his name's ewok.

i have 2 inside cats.. One's name is Jinxy (he's grey and white short haired..) and his sister is Princess (Shes white) they are extremly spoiled!!! my dad spoils them lol.. and we have 2 inside dogs.. Bree and Belle both snouzers (sp??) they are really spoiled too... just like my horse!! he he extraly spoiled lol!!.

U r so lucky to have your own horses. There' just no way you can do that in the middle of london, because you couldnt ride decently, onyl round in circles. I do go to a riding holiday in germany every year though - its amazing! It means i can't really say the terms in english though. Is paint a white horse?

ok, caitlin is the modern gaelic version of the medieval name catlin. Kathleen wsa moddled on these names and I think it basically means pure or clean. It's kinda confusing though cos there are so may names derived from or to do with Katherine which is te section that Caitlin is in.
