As Princeps Senatus, I hereby call this session of the Senate into order. Here, all things concerning Arnor may be discussed, examined, dissected, reassembled, and otherwise talked about. You are in the Capitol of Annuminas, so please be reminded that outbursts or other misbehaving patrons shall be removed from the building.

Unless there is more pressing business, I invite all to please follow me into the Banquet Hall; where the Feast of Yule and Unification shal be served!

*takes the fair hand of Aredhel and bows, touching his forehead to her wrist*

All folk are welcome in the land or Arnor, and I greet you as a friend and guest. May your stay be...*looks around at the people and grins* interesting.

*returns to his seat beside Kementari*

Out of Nowhere Mithers appears and begins munching on the food:cool: , lokk familiar:p

*while tar's carolers entertain, her winged handmaidens flirt with the guards, and Tar ponders if the xtra spicy or slightly spicy cocktail sauce will be better on her shrimp*

A tall, dark man steps into the banquet hall. He wears the insigna of the star on his armor. The man, being followed closely by Ciryahers Guards, steps up to the main table. He approaches Mike B, King of Gondor. The man is holding something wraped in cloth. A parchment is handed to mike. He reads it to himself:

Dear Mike B,
I am sorry for any inconveniences or greviences that I have caused you. I do hope that we may become friends. However, as a symbol of peace between us, I give you this gift. - Elessar €

Mike is handed the bundle and opens it slowely. Inside is a long strip of leather, a scabbard from a sword. As the hilt of the sword passes from under the cloth the crowd gasps. The hilt is made of pure gold, in the center there is a small figure, a white tree. There is another parchment in the bundle, it reads:

This sword, made by a silver wizard, is one of a kind. The hilt is made of pure gold, and is strengthened by magic. The white tree (for Gondor) is made of Mithril. The blade is made of steel, a very strong blend of my own creation. It is etched with Mithril, and glows like fire when held in the sunlight. The blade is unbreakable, save by the one who made it. It will help you in future battles, for it is not one to rest, hanging on the wall. It is named Narceleb. €

When Mike finishes with the second parchment a third is handed him by the man. it is tied with gold thread and has a ring of silver attached. The parchment states:

This ring is made form the same Mithril as the tree of gondor on the hilt of the sword, If you find yourself in a time of trouble, wear this ring and the sword will come to you, not even the depths of Barad Dur could keep it from reaching your side. €

The tall man bows first to Mike, then to Mith., and then, to everyone surprise, to Ciryaher. He exits and rides southward

Worry not, mike, I have far less power than sauron, and I do not think that mithril will hold much magic. WARNING: Do not toss ring into a fire, it is silver and will melt, no secret writings shall appear.

So many gifts and libations, doesn't anybody realize that there's senate business to get on with. You know, divisions of big kingdoms, ceding of little shires, squashing of smaller kingdoms, and much later resurgences of bigger kingdoms (with the caveat of certain shires being granted autonomy) to plan. Who elected this senate, anyway? What are the districts, and who has jurisdiction where? Ciryaher, eh? Hyarmendacil is nearer the mark. How did a southern interest attain princeps here in the north? How are we going to watch Christmas movies in the third age? And who the heck invited me anyways??!

In Tal's hands a brand new Bow made of Mithril appears along w/ the card, enGraved in Quenya is her name and the deeds she has done for the wizards Guild.
In Elessar's hands a sword very much to the like of Cir's appears, except this one is made of Mithril and as her emblems on the hilt.
Both Weapon's have the power of my majic in them, thus making them extraordinary.
The rest of my White wizard swill get their gifts too, but they are not here :p

Thank you, Mith, He accepts the sword. He holds it up to the light and watches it in scilence as the blade glimmers in the torch-light. I shall name it Dùrist. He takes out the relec of a sword that hung in his scabbard, it would seem to a few that as he drew it out that it sparkled with some hidden inner power. He wrapped it in a saddle blanket and slid Dùrist home into the scabbard. I must leave this grand gathering now, he said as he began to walk to the door. He waved goodby to all of his friends and opened the great doors. Outside he laid the bundle on the side of the saddle and fastened it down with great care. He lifted himself onto his old grey horse and started off tward Rohan, where he ment to meet with his fellow wizards.

"Ya know," he said, "I figured out what this party needs." he was talking with a bit of a slur and was difficult to understand. "You wouldnt beleive how hard it is to find this stuff in middle earth" He signals and a few men bring in some iced down keggs. "egg nog anyone?" He grins for a second before he passes out and hits the floor with a big crash.

We have lots of that stuff in mE Elessar, we call it Balrog..

Elessar awakens at the comment. "what?!?!?!...you mean that stuff that people were offering me everywhere was...what I was searching for?!?!? (headache) "Good Eru!" he exclaimes before falling back to the floor. "Well, they still call it egg nog in the Grey Mountains" he says, a lick of insanity in his voice. He gets up, dusts himself off, and finnaly notices the blood on the back of his cloak, his own, the reason he passed out. He takes it off and throws it in the fire, it puts up massive ammounts of black smoke for nearly ten seconds, when the smoke clears the door is swinging on its hinges and Elessar is nowhere in sight.

*sees that Elessar is already cracked, he tells the bouncers to be on the lookout*

It's a Wonderful Life is great...but you can't top the Hoosier classic A Christmas Story. The best (and perhaps only) Christmas movie ever made in Indiana...or anywhere else for that matter :D

ARG, I have claimed no war upon Ciryaher since the rebellion! He claimed war upon the white council and my friends, when I was later to learn that it wasnt them he wanted to crush, 'twas me. You see, these central arches are being worn down due to the constant flooding. The floodwalls and levies have been built to withstand the waters, but the bridge has been taxed for over a thousand years. My masons predict that the bridge will collapse on itself with the coming of the next flood, and so I am asking the masons and architects of Arnor to help with the design and construction of a new bridge that can resist the floods better than the last.

*Ciryaher nods* That is better.

*Clears his throat and explains* Elessar has discovered a plot by the party in question to 'crash' your wedding, whenever it may be. The party in question has not, however, threatened any harm to anyone.

On to the next matter of Business, I would like to propose a total blockade of the Island of Himling until further notice. Any objections, Senators?

*Aerin rides in on Tsornin and dismounts outside the council halls. Entering in her riding clothes, she walks over to Ciryaher and inclines her head.*

"Lord Ciryaher, I put Rhuduar and her forces at your command, as well as her Knight. The laws and rules of your land are the laws and rules of Rhuduar. My sword is at your disposal."

*crosses his arms and bows, remaining seated*

It is good to see your arrival, Aerin of Rhudaur. Let the order be given for the Fleet to blockade all traffic to and from the island of Himling unless they be approved by the Senate.

We the necromancers were under the impression that dark people weren't invited to the wedding and hence came the term crash which to us at that time meant simply walking into the party anyway....
we didn't read the post by Elessar in the shire thread which said that everyone is invited....and to my knowledge crashing a party doen't mean harming the bride....:rolleyes:

Peace, Eomer! Lord Lorien speaks of the wedding of Elessar and Arathin. No date has been set for this event, to my knowledge. Nobody has placed any limitation or restriction on Rohan, either.

I have ordered the 1st, 2nd, and 4th Arnorian fleets to blockade Himling at a distance of 20 leagues.

This is an outrage, any hinderance of my ships sailing to the south will be a direct violation of the rights of my people! You can block me from the shores of Gondor and Arnor, but the south has yet to speak, war will come of this evil move, Ciryaher!

And Furthermore, I would like it to be noted that the only thing I have done that could almost be considered an offense to Ciryaher is to block people with power in arnor from venturing to my isle, and this was based on a serious lack of trust associated with battle. The blockade by Ciryaher clearly has no purpose in protecting either his land or his people. The only way I could see a threat in me is if he was to make war in the east...

And of course I hope you do not credit the decision to blockade Himling an act of your council of governors. For you have yet to hear from Kit, Mithrandir, and Luigigrond. And those are the only ones I know of, there must be more.

Lorien~We never said anything to the affect that anyone would be discluded from the wedding.

Lord Ciryaher~Blockading Himling has nothing to do with the protection of your people. If an act doesn't have something to do with protecting your people, then I hardly call it anything but an act of war. I don't want a war, but your actions seem to denote that you do when you say that you don't. I personally think that you never had any intention of ever going or send anyone to Himling. So what is the big deal. Why would you go there anyway? I see no point in your getting all huphy about it. Seriously!
