I just returned from the local Barnes and Nobles, and have some wonderful news to report- Tom Shippey's seminal book about Tolkien's works The Road To Middle-earth has finally been re-released in paperback. I was able to finally own my own copy of this seminal piece of Tolkien scholarship, newly revised and edited, with a new section on the HoMe. If you've never read this masterpiece of Tolkien criticism, I impel you to get to a bookstore and a get a copy now.

I was drooling over that and Author of Middle-earth the other day, but I didn't buy them cause I saw another book I wanted, and I'm trying to save money. One of these days..... *adores those books*
