Announcement: Elven Guild seeks debators.

As most of the members may already know, the GoE is currently in the midst of the debating tournament. However, we are still in need for more debators, as we play every round with three members so far, where four are permitted. Furthermore we have no back-up, should one of these three debators not be available for some reason.

Basically this means, we are short on people willing to help this Guild in the debates. Come on my elves, your Guild needs you. :)

I wouldn't like you guys to inadvertently forfeit a match; I think Eöl participated in a debate for the GoT. If I'm right (I'm not sure), then he can't participate in any other debate defending a different Guild, or the Guild will have to forfeit the debate "as well as other penalties under the discretion of the Tournament Organizer" (quoting from memory).

It's the vaunted rule 2d that did not enable me to help your team in the present debate :(.

I could debate, but I'm not much of a debater. And I don't know what the qualifications for it is, though I am probably sure it isnt high enough.

There really are no requirements, other than your participation. If you like, you can participate in the current one, as Swordmaster is going on vacation. I'll have to check with the other team, first, though.
