I didn't like the "Royal" and "Grand"- ideas. Our chief meeting place deserves a more original name-and Manwe's summit sonds like Olympus. Add the "Glittering Caves" and you have something like a Tolkienology theme park.

Alas, I have been away on an internet-free holiday, so did not vote :(

However :) I favour the third option, which seems to have the joint-equal majority of votes with the last.

One thing I would comment on --- would it not be funner (my 6-year-old's word) if placenames incorporating ALL the races of Middle Earth could be used? Sadly, the obvious Hobbit option (the Green Dragon) is taken, but imaginations such as those haunting these green halls would soon come up with something, I'm sure.

As far as I know, there is some problem with the polls - they seem to not work.

I think that the WM and Beorn are taking care of that.:cool:

And My Captain...I hope you have listened to the voice of the Great [Man(v)Eru ] :p and have read that discussion about the new look.

In short - we are trying to re-organize the Guild in a better way so that its threads could be better and more easily found. :) Yes! The names on the poll are the suggested ones for the subforums where the threeads will be stored.

This matter - with the subforums is a privilege for our Guild only!:D

I like it very much too!
But I have a question=suggestion:

First subforum - Do you think that it would be better to have Máhanaxar for the first subforum instead of Manwe's summit ?
After all, that was the Ring of Doom - the place of the great councils summoned to decide most important matters.

Second subforum - Wouldn't it be better to have it named Noldor Forge? For this will be the "hottest" place where all live activities will be.

Third subforum - How about it be named Glittering Caves? This name provokes such a beauty and flight of imagination!

Fourth subforum - I see Library of the Istari as a most suitable name for the Guild's archives.

Opinions?

Hmm... since I proposed the third option's names, I'd like to comment on that:)

1) I like Manwe's summit, but I'm willing to agree with the majority...

2) Noldorin Forge (as I posted in the "Shall we have our city?" thread) instead of Noldor Forge ;)

The rest is fine by me... since it was only a little swap in places

I agree with that suggestion although I would prefer it to be Feanor instead of Noldorin, but anyway.
