Alas, i have been gone far too long. I journied (journyed....???no clue) far and long to the distant mountains of New Hamp Shire where i, as a noble ranger must do, raced down steep hill slopes after suspicious people dressed in odd clothes with nothing but REALLY long popsicle sticks attached to my orc-fashoned boots.
I read all the posts since ive been gone. and what is up with 7 doubles?? what did he do? and why are we in turmoil? :confused: :confused: :confused:
and, just to clear the record, if anyone thought that i had dissapeard because Arathin decided to roast me during Mass, a holy worshipful place, well, she didnt. and i live on.

Well, I've been working with him on a matchmaking thread, but hadn't posted on it in awhile, so he posts that he thinks I'm withdrawing because of Ranger pressure not to associate with him... That you guys were doubting my loyalty so I was pulling away from my "duty" to the matches that needed to be made or something.

Well we haven't quite figured that part out yet. Maybe everyone else did and just didn't tell me. All I know is that we are rangers, and I am on the council with a few assorted others. Oh and of course that Nain rules us with the council's help. I think.

I haven't seen it looking so nice in years!"

Arathin comes out of the shadows of the doorway, and throughly cleans off her boots so as not to track dirt. "Here Nain your gift." It is a small simple silver chain with a small amulet. The amulet has an ancient and unreadable High Elven engraved upon it. "It will offer you the only help and guidance that the fled High Elves now have the power to give. Use it well." She then goes off to the buffet table. "Nice selection, Nain."

Nain takes the sword and fits it round his waist. He then yells "Attention, Attention! Let it be known that there is a now 2 Thorn's in the side of The Enemy! Thank you Mormegil!" He then takes Elgee's plant. He makes sure it's asleep then gets some of his minions to teach the plant who is edible(bad people) and not edible peole(good people). "Thank you also Elgee, fair jester." He then takes the Elven necklace of Arathin "And thank you fair maiden for this necklace." He puts the necklace and waits by the door for more arrivers.

Just remember when you ask for guidance, that Elves say both yes and no in answer to almost any question. But you're very welcome, Nain. And thank you for throwing this wonderful, if somewhat unentertain as yet with four people her, party. *whispers* Don't worry as soon as the rest of the Rangers get here it will be a blast. *smiles and picks up a springroll* I love Chinese food!

Courtney walks over to Nain. "Here's your present!" Courtney hands him a box wrapped in sparkling silver paper. "What could it be?" everyone wonders as Nain tears off the paper. The crowd of guests stares in awe when they see what it is: nothing less than one of those rare and mysterious items from lands only heard of in ancient legends. "What is it?" Nain asks in amazement..
"Well," Courtney replies "There are many names for wonderful objects such as these. I prefer its original and most beautiful name name: the slinky!"

EVERYONE, TO THE TOP OF THE TOWER!*they proceed to walk up the stairs with their slinky's.

Mormegil's slinky is the first to go. Everyone gazes in wonder as it makes its way down the stairs.
The slinky gets to the bottom and Mormegil celebrates the best slinky run ever.

Elgee makes an attempt to wear hers as a coil necklace and gets it stuck, half on her neck, half on her right hand.... It then procedes to go down the stairs taking her with it...

"Hey, anyone want to see how long a slinky is when it is all stretched out?"

Well on other news, do you think its time that we get ourselves a proper place, like a ranger camp somewere, maybe with a castle.
If none of us actually have land, we could ask some one for a place for it. It would be good, some where would could party *sigh* and send out people on missions, place for council. You get the picture.

Ok I like Valar's idea. I have made a plot a land for the making of a castle for the Rangers. The castle will be made in that free space between The Iron Hills and The Lonely Mountain. I will own thw castle, but you all shall take part in governing it. Also, we need a name for it. PM your names and I will choose the name. It begins the day after I finish my towers, therefore it will start building in 2 days, unless one ofyou have workers who would like to begin the castle.

That is the position. I am probably not as good an artist as you, but my drawing will be good enough I believe. I will post it tomorrow.

Very well, i'm glad we are doing something usefull, once this is completed i think we should assign different areas for us to protect, and find out more about. I would dearly like to have Rohan and Fangorn. Any suggestions on this idea?

That's a good idea Valar. I would obviously protect Ered Nimrais and surrounding area.

The Ranger Castle is a good idea too. Also all Rangers are welcome to stay in the city of Aldamar in the White Mountains any time they like. I am building a white marble palace there which could be used as the secondary home of the Rangers.

Ranger only RPG sounds good. We would be able to make a story of one of our travels or adventures.
