Yes but we mostly are a group of friends like a guild, we will have ranks if Elessar agrees. Yes you can explore new lands and remake the maps of old....

Yes, we are a brotherhood (with a few sisters). We may take a quest once and again, but mainly just a council, like the white council, we could plan how we can all bring whatever we have together to help for the common good. I will volunteer to build a hall of the wanderers, Ranbar, which could be like the main meetingplace of us.

Oh, and another act of buisness, shoudl we become an official guild? I sould talk with Tal to see if it is ok.

Dain, it was simply a matter of the fact the Telchar hasnt been in the pony or the RPG forum in a long while, not in the time i have been here. The forum veterans knew that Telchar claimed all of that land, and let you go on not knowing. I am extremely disapointed in all of them, i would had told you, but I knew not. I talked with Dengen last night and he informed me on the topic. Techar indeed has claim over all of the dwarves of Durin (iron hills, moria, lonely mountain). I am sorry that we didnt know of this, it shall hamper us dearly.

Question: Where is this "Gollomosh"? I have never read of it in any of Tolkiens books. Is it an archaic term, or is it something out of another book? If it's out of another book, you of course can't rule it in Middle Earth :)

A- In the RPG forum (like the prancing pony or the Hobbit, but it is called Role Playing Games), in RP8(name of thread).
B- Mainly Dain (and whatever he rules now), Eormer (he rules Rohan), and most of the White Council (the most powerful wizards in the forum). And most of us rangers fall under these catagories or have pledged to the White Council. (go to the War Council of White, it is in the RPG forum)

I pledge allegiance to any who pledge allegiance to me (which is mainly all listed above). Ciryaher is still mad at me for a rebellion I started in his kingdom. The rebellion failed when my allies turned from me. I created the kingdom of Arandor out of the rubble of Edenwaith, and Ciryaher and his allies (Gondor, Arnor, and Mordor) was to see me dead, but I surrendered my kingdom willingly to Gondor. I am doing all in my power to thwart ciryaher, but of that I cannot tell anyone at the moment. I am always glad to help someone :) you can always ask me questions, and as long as you dont insult me, I tend to be nice and sane. ;)

I promise not to insult you, just as long as you don't insult me. I can be pretty nasty to people who I don't like or who don't like my friends(allies). So why do you think that Cir is still mad? He must be one to really hold a grudge. What is the real deal with the fighting? Do we really fight? rpg 8 seemed more like a lot of talk to me. Are their real battles? Like the battle of Hornburg battles? You may think that I'm being nosie, but trust me I have a brillant stratagy mind. And I will help with any movements or other stuff that I can. But I can only help if I'm well informed. Personally, I didn't like Cir too much from the start. He kept giving me evil "looks". You know what I mean?

It is kind of text fighting, like you state what your troops do and what damage they have caused. If you want more info on how really to do it I would suggest going to the RPG forum and reading RP6 (btw, for everyone, what happened to 7?)

I didn't join the war or the White Council, 'cause they were apparently open only to people who had armies, and I didn't want to bother with one, so what can I do to help out. I am on Dain, Elasser, and Wizdoms side no matter what, I've decided. What's up? Is the war over? Everyone seemed a little demoralized at the white council thread...

I think you are a little confused Strider, you see the only reason the White Council members all have armies is because we are all the leaders of the wizards guild, so you would have joined one of the White Wizards subguild's, like Dain's Yellow Wizards. The war IS coming to an end, but how exactly were we demorilized, I do not see where you get that. Anywho I hope this clears up some things.

I am leader of the Dunedain Rangers. Not us, but the 200 of us are all descended down from my bro, Aragorn's rangers. 3/4 of us still live in the Wilderness. The rest live in Himling with Elessar and his people.

I feel fine about Nain being our leader. I also have a different suggestion we could have a co-leadership, Me, nain , Arathin and wiz. That could be cool because we are all really on even par with leadership skills and experience. But if thats to complecated i am fine with Nain.

The person known as 7doubles has become a small nuscence, and I doubt that he has the power or influence to infultrate our ranks, but safety and caution are my first concerns. I do this on my authority as part of the council of rangers. I beleive we should hold council on the subject of 7doubles, who seems to be intent upon destroying us. No suggestions of battle or war will be heard of now, he has made friends with the legion and the necromancers, and war with them would be long and costly.

and secondly, not only did you just insult all of the dwarves of Arda, but Dain isn't a dwarf. He is a very powerfull being who was here long before us and will be long afterwards, he has a kingdom in the north called Gabil-Dum, and he and his army could wipe you and the undead out without a second thought.

Well at the moment only Nain knows how things go for you, soccerref. I think that the other places posted at is a good idea, though. Why don't you put some other thread names that you have been posting on here. That way us council members can look at them and give some really good input. It is good that you understand our dalema with new recruits though. Some people never read back when they join a post.

I must say that I am not yet fully unsuspicious. The soccer ref character has but 20 posts, and a newbie with so few posts shows up right as we close the entrance, and begs leave in. My senses scream foul plot here, be mine the only that do so.

I think these post should be kept to PMs for a start.
It could also be coincidence that he has joined in these times, i mean with all these new memebers everyday...
But i also agree that in these times we might have to stick to what and who we know and a new memeber could disrupt things.
My final opinion is that his joining should be postponed until further notice or that we give him a trail run and make him a semi-member to see if proves himself.

thank you for putting under a sort of probation kind of thing. let me explain my timing for clarification. i did not even know this post was here, until i went to the icon up at the top "see all unread threads" and i went to it. ever since reading the books and and whaching the movie i have liked the concept of rangers and i was overjoyed to find a place where i can become a ranger (at least in the realm of the imagination) but before i post something i read some backround so i know what i am posting to. just a minor note since all of you seem to be really expireance at this posing on RPG's i have created an RPG and i was wondering if i could get your input on it. it is number 27 (and yes, to any moderator, it does have a number on it)
