Unfinished Tales

Well i am not sure if there is or there is not such thread but my idea for this one is someone to begin a story or just a little part and some one to continue it.So here i will begin with a little part and i will hope that someone will like the idea.

He was standing in front of a black door.There was a red sight on it that represent the union of the Dark Wizards.The man put his hand on his sword.His eyes were watching nervous all over the place.His legs were shaking.Fear slips all over his body.He wanted to move but his legs didnt move.He was stuck.Suddenly he heard a sound from behind.The man turned around and ...

So i hope some one will continue

Nauco was hasting towards the Black Door...
"Oh, those, Black Wizards!", He was thinking.
"How can someone call me Dwarf?! For I have bitten a dwarf and they should call me that?! No,no it's too much of a dog life...I can't bear it anymore..."
And although he indeed was a dog, called Nauco (Dwarf), he couldn't put up with his name. For he thought it was not a Man's name...
Nauco was running now, rushing through the hills not noticing the speed of his. He didn't actually notice that he had reached the black door...he also didn't notice the man who was standing in front and into whom Nauco crushed...

Meron turned around and saw the dog,
"Stupid dog" he said.
The dog looked in to the eyes of the man and so anger in them.He bow down his head.The man looked at the dog one more time and said
"Well, you are lucky that i didnt take off my sword.Come with me,lets see what is inside.May be will find something interesting.
"I dont think so"- thought the man and get the dog in his hands then opened the door but he didnt expected to see what was inside ....

..........and there were black stairs leading smewhere in the dark......it was so dark that nothing could be seen.But Nauco could smell the danger in the dark.
"I shall make no a single step forward,for I smell the death here."
And suddenly he stepped on something.It was a bone..........the whole stairs were covered with bones and men's flesh.Bodies of those who have tried to to climb the black stairs.............

It's not something good actually...........we had a similar thread some time ago,a thread started by Lhun and called -'The What If Game",and I must confess I miss it very much.;)

Nauco grabbed the cape of that man and made him stop. "No! Noone should enter this place!" Meron stepped aside. "What's the matter with you, silly dog... Are you afraid?" And almost on tiptoe he began climbing the stairs. It was almost dark, except for a red gloom that lay in the air, coming out of nowhere. He could hear the sound of... nothing! How disturbing this was. "Dog, though you don't know what I am doing here, thanks for coming with me. I feel better with someone beside me in this errand and I hope you won't desert me when danger's coming to confront us." Nauco followed the man down the stairs. He smelled the blood, the anger and the fear of the men that had died at this very place. He smelled the Dark Wizards, but only as a remembrance in this place. They must have left long ago. Long before these men had fought their battle. He stopped the man again by biting in his cloak. "No, don't go further! There is death waiting for everyone."

'Death?!" said Meron."This isnt true,you are just a dog.How can you smell death?"
"I cant smell things like normal dogs,i can smell anger,fear and death from miles,thats why i came to you-to warn you!"
The man didnt do anything.He was stuck in one place think about his futur moves.He knew that there isnt a way back.Noone that have climbed the darl steps.Now his only way was foward where,if he believe in Nauco words,is waiting deadth,but what choice does he have?He have decided.He must stand alone in the dark,he must face his destiny, if he have to die-he will.The man make a step foward and enter the hall where darkness falls.....

............."Watch out" cried Nauco and fell down.
A giant beast was coming against Meron.It was a petrifying monster coming from the dark.Its eyes were full of anger and there was no doubt its only aim was to kill the man and his new friend........

Meron took out his sword with silver blade and prepare for an attack.But attack couldn't be effective against this monster.The creAture moved slowely and this was the thing that the mAn had to use,he ran fast between the fat legs of the monster and sTAck his sword in one of the monster's legs.Nothing,nothing happed.The creAture was still standing like nothing was stuck in his leg.
"Damn!"(I doubt Tolkien's or other's characters cursed)-thought Meron and tried to took out his sword but he couldn't.What could he do now?
"Come!"-ordered the dog and the man saw that the dog was standing in front of a sword that was on the wall.Meron ran to get the sword but suddenly

....But suddenly a flash of strong light blinded his eyes! It came like a firy lightning, like a burning blaze of horror and immense power!
The man cried out loud and somewhere deep in his mind he sort of heard the dog's howl - a desperate, terrified beastly yell as a living creature can only cry out in ultimate despair....

Then came the pain...burning the man's head.... He raised his hands as if to protect himself ...From what? From whom?.... He felt no material enemy anywhere around. There seemed to be noone anywhere...Yet he could feel the presence of sth. terrifying...sth. powerful...sth. evil...sth. that had flashed into his mind and was burning it to ashes....

...Then suddenly everything disappeared and the pain in Meron's head was gone as well.He opened his eyes and saw that everything around him was black.Everythign was gone.
'You are a foul!" said a strong and loud voice that was like a voice of a god.
"Who are you?"asked Meron but he was afraid that he aswere is not going to be as he wanted.
"Dont you know my voice?"-the aswer came to the man's ears from everywhere like an echo.
"No,i dont" said Meron and tried to move but he realised that this WAs impossible.Then everything changed like a movie cadre(yeah,in the fantasy books there are lots of mivies you know,Holywood ,etc.).The room was diffrent,all around him,all the walls were painted with blood.There was throne on one of the wall made from black rock and there Meron saw what he had never expected.His eyes were filled with anger of what he saw .He took out his sword and attack.....

......It was the body of Meron's brother.......the body of his beloved brother who years ago had tried to enter here met his doom.That was on of the reasons for Meron's coming here,searching for his younger brother,whom he loved so much,whom he had taught how to fight,how to survive.......
And now Meron's heart was filled with anger,anger which was burning every single part of his body and mind.The desire for revenge grew so fast in his heart,that nothing could stop him.
He jumped and rushed forward,as if that was his last fight.He forgot everything and attacked.Ruthless was Meron's face and ruthless was his attack.For he had to take a revenge for his brother's death.

“Nooo!”-screamed Nauco and jumped in front of Meron. ”The body for your brother is corrupted from the spirit of an evil wizard. Once he was the leader of the Black Wizards but he was defeated from the hand of a smith, but his spirit was still alive”
“How do you know all this, you are just a dog?”-asked with curiosity.
“I am not an ordinary dog. I wish I was a dog, but I am not. I am complicated…
While Nauco was talking Meron ,the body of Meron’s body stand up and tool out his sword and attacked. But he didn’t realized that ….

But he didn't realize that until the last second before the silver blade cut through the place where a moment before his throat had been. Meron ducked away under the heavy stroke and grabbed his own sword. But it wasn't in place. Sure.. it was still stuck in the leg of that horrible beast... Where was the beast?.. There it stood, cold and dead as stone, for stone it was. Then how could he fight against his brother? NO! he couldn't fight against his brother, never would he raise his hand against his brother.. He retreated backwards from his sword-waving brother until he leant against the black walls. And there, next to his eyes still was the sword hanging from a hook in the wall...

...He grabed the sword but then everything changed.The sword have opened the gate of time and sent Meron to the future.When he opened his eyes he saw something strange.A man,dressed in a women's dress.
'That's strange" said Meron."I have never seen before creatures like this.Where am i?"
"In the future" aswered a voice from behind.Meron turned and he thought that his eyes were watching an illusuion because infront of him was standing.....

...the very same creature with his sword stuck in its leg.
It growled laughingly... and turned to stone again. Meron turned again to face that strange man. Use of a well-sharpened blade could certainly help him get the information he needed to puzzle all this out. But then there was this flash of light again and he stood in the tower of the Dark Wizards again, facing his brother, both with a sword in their hands.
This is not your brother! Nauco said. It is his body, coming alive through dark witchcraft. Your brother, his spirit, has long ago gone to the Undying Lands, or Wherever the spirits of Man go.
Meron saved his life again by jumping away from the heavy stroke of the enemie's sword. A fight started, not mightier than what the halls had seen before, but more emotional, because every time Meron hit the body of his brother, his own soul hurt deeply. And when he had finally, covered with many a cut and bruise, hewn the bewitched corpse to pieces, he fell down and began to cry. Now, he thought, my brother shall live in peace. Wherever he is.

"Hahahahha!"-laughed loud someone from behind."You think you have conquer a victory by defiting your own brother.You are a fool.The end has come!Your brother was the key for the power i was waiting for years and now this power once again is runing in my viens.
Meron turned around and saw it.Once were Nauco was ,now a figure of a man dressend in black was standing.A man holding a staff in his right hand and watching in the eyes of Meron.
"What in the name of all Gods...?".....

[Hirila]

"I am Nauco, the dwarf, Nauco, the dog, and Nauco the wizard!" Then he paused as if taking a deep breath. "Yes, and this, this the world where I used to walk free and unbothered. Do you want to hear my story first before dying... or do you choose to die without delay?"
Meron stood there as if turned to stone. 'Let's keep things together... This... dogs.. runs into me, follows me into this place... warns me of deadly danger and helps me defeat the danger only to turn into danger itself???' It was too much for him.
Without hesitating any longer he jumped out of the window and into the river he had heard flowing beneath the Tower. He might as well come back later with some friends to finish his task. At least a bit of swimming was better than listening to some... weird... creature and dying afterwards.

The river ran swiftly, taking the man with him...

..........the water was cold,cold as ice,and Meron wasn't able to take a single breath,he tried to swim,but it was impossible,because of his heavy shoes.Was he going to die in the cold river,without finishing his mission,without doing what he had promised?!?!No,he could not do that.Feeling the pain with every muscle of his body he saved himself and laid down the stony coast of the river.He was freezing........he was going to die because of the cold........but one thing was in his head:"Why Nauco,why he helped me and then tried to kill me?!I don't believe this dog wanted to kill me............"Then he passed out........
Some hours later he felt a warm breath of someone.Meron opened his eyes and saw Nauco..................


p.s.-I liked Nauco so much so I decided to bring him back-come on,he is such a nice talking dog!!

"What?Thats impossbile!"-said Meron."But,you was there in the tower and you wanted to kill me"
"Have I?!"-said Nauco,suprised from the words of the wet men."I havnt leave my master for about a month"
"But i am sure that you was there with me in the tower"-continued Meron.
"Which tower?"-asked curiously the dog.
"I dont rememer well,but it had the mark of the Black wizards and the stairs were black"
"This is the tower of illusions.Everything that happend there may was an illusion"-while Nauco was talking a figure of man approach.Meron turned his head and saw the new person standing next to the dog....

[Starbrow]

"You look like you could use a place to dry off," the man in the oversized coat and heavy work boots said gruffly.

Meron glanced at the dog and saw him wagging his tail. "I suppose it'll be safe enough," he thought to himself.

As Meron slowly and stiffly got up, he caught a glimpse of something shiny under the man's coat.

"Wait!!,I have seen this sword.This is the sword that i saw there in the tower.How did you get it?"
"Its a gift to my father and he gave it to me when he died.He told me to take care of it because the sword is precious like a wizard ring"-answered the man in white,holding the sword.
"Something here isnt right.i can feel it."-Meron looked around searching for the aswer but all he saw was just a big field,surrounded by a forest but there wasnt even a tiny sigh to help him.
Suddenly the sky became dark.And sun disappered somewhere in the black clouds.
"That is this??"-asked Meron,looking in to the sky.
"Your answer!"......

Meron looked back up towards the sky, he was amazed and terrified at the same time! he looked towards the man in white and shouted "What have you done?!" The old man smiled and replied What makes you think that i did it?" and looked back up!

Meron stood up and searched for his sword but it have gone.Now the wizard in front of him was smiloing shoing his real identuty,now the black cloaths like snow have become dark like that night and the staff on which once there was s stone now were two snakes.The eyes of the wizard were still serious,staring in Meron who still coulnd undestand what was going on.The world have change again,he tought that he was saved but he have just realised that have founded his doom,his death.The wizard spoke loudly:
"You really think,you were going to escape you fate?"
"What fate?What are you speaking about?"-Meron was making little steps backward but he knew that there wasnt a chance to escape.
"You though that the sky upon you have begin once again clean and shinny like in a summer day,but you were wrong,now the clouds that brought to you only pain and suffer have now became even more dark then ever and here is where you are going to stand in front of the door that leads to your miserable end.And i will be the person who is going to enjoi it.Soon you are going to be nothing more but burned ash taht will use as a Final ingredient"
Meron was terrified by the words of the wizard.He didnt know what to do,his leags couldnt move and he was stuck between the river and his death.
Suddenly from behind the wizard,Nauco ran as fast as he could straight in the wizard back....

The wizard stumbled over and fell into the river! Meron looked relieved at the return of Nauca, and thought he was safe and gome! Relief spreea over his fave!
“What are you waiting for! We must move! He is a Wizanrd of trickers and he shall be back to get you!” Naucro was shouting!

"Who was he?And i thought that he is your maste."-Meron was now lookina at the dog with a strange felling of unsure if the dog was still on his side or he was playing some sort of a game.
"Names are not imortant at this time.The first thing we should now is go to the Mistress,she have some answers about us"-Nauco was talking as he knew taht from ages and there was nothing about the situation they were at the moment.
Meron was still unsure,he have seen enough to understand that nothing in the world is worth trusting,but on other hand what chance did he had.The wizard could come back every minute and what was he going to do-fight him.The black wizard couldnt be stopped by a mortal,only wizards and elf could fought them and conquer victory.The powers of the black wizards were coming straight from the Hell and there was no doubt that they were going to save it for the last minute,they were going to use it all if its needen to kill only one person,but the person that they killed will be in great imortanse for the rest of the humans.Melon did have any choice but to follow the dog.
"Ok,i will come"
Nauco said nothing.They went south to the palace of Sorcery where the Mistress was going to reviel the truth ...

The Palace of Sorcery was a mystical cave, lit beautifully with silver candles all through the halls. the gems places around reflected the light making it seem like a Heaven.
Meron entered the opening of the cave, and felt energy vibrating through him. But the most odd think happened when the dog 'tried' to walk into the opening. He could not enter, it was as thought there was an shield stopping him from entering.

"Just go on without me, and be careful, and if anyone come i will bark! now hurry!"

Meron went on throught the beautiful place, his eyes tranfixed on the carving on the wall!

Meron couldnt stop looking at the beautifull gems all around him.He enteres a big hall in the middle of which there was a throne.A women was sitting on it-the Mistress.She was lookint the man as he was someone that should no be there.Like from nowhere,other sorceresses appeared and they begame to look in Meron the same sence of unhappines just like the Mistress.
"Who dare came to me?"-the voice of the women echoed in the whole place.Meron stood terrified.
"I am Meron,stranger from the West,seeking the help of the Mistress,which is famous all over the land with her powers to help people without wanting anithing in return"-Meron was talking slow,as he was agraid not to say something wrong.
Silence.No even a single sound came from nowhere,like all the world was dead.Then the Mistress stood up and walked to Meron.She looked to his eyes and then asked:
"Did you came here alone?"
"No,i came with a dog but there was some sort of a shield in the entrance that did not let him in,so he left ouside"
The Mistress's eyes have began to fill with anger.
"The cave let only those who dont serve the Devil"
Meron looked and the Mistresss,but he did say anything.There were no words to explaine what he have just heard

Meron, looking very shocked and in disbelief said "B-but he cant be! h-he just helped me away from the evil son of a-, he is trying to kill me!"

The sorceress looking looking angry started to laugh! and so did the others behind her! "Whom do you mean Child? that man behind you?" and smiled althought it was not a cruel it was sly! "He is my friend."
The old man came forth and stood next to the sorceress!

"You!!!"-shouted Meron when he saw the face of the wizard that have fell in to the river."Kill him,he is the one that whant to kill me"
But noone moved.The sorceresses have stopped laughing but they werent dint anything.The Mistress looked and the man and said:
"What are you speaking about.Jeref is one of the greates wizard from the order of the Seven towers.He is our friends from years and i can not harm him,because if your words.They can be lies,you can be under a spell of a black wizard who is telling you what to speak with one perpious one purpose only-to bring death to everything that does not obey his master."
Silence once again scatter in the room.The old man stepped forward and said on a loud and clear voice:
"I think Nea,that is time for him to understan"
"To understand,what?"-asked Meron without waiting the Mistress to answer.
No answer came to the question of Meron.Mistress was looking at the old wizard with a look filled with doubt but at the end she sais:
"Then if its time then let us hope that its not too late" she stopped for a secind looking at everyone that were about to hear what the truth was,she was decideing if there was someone that is not grown enough to care the words for himself but to tell them to sameone first thing after he left.Then se continued:
"Meron,the only person who wants to kill you is Nauco.He is the Dream Master.Lord of Illusions.Everything so far was a set up.He made you believe that Ipel is the one that wants to kill you,he made you believe that he was that black wizard you saw there but yet this was his real identity and the tower of illusions if his keep.He brought you to me because he wanted to know where is it,where is hidden the source but here ancients spell are guarding.He sensed then and knew that if he entered he will turn again in to what he really is and that is something even I dont know beucase he can take many former,he is on of our stronges anymies and we believe that he is preparing a great attack against the orders and the free men.If we dont prepare we will sufer a terrible lost.And here comes you,many things that you are the one that will help us bring victory and few know your real destiny.I am not here to tell you what will happen to you,i am here to make you understand.Nothing in this land is what it seems,the free people will soon fall because of the energies that once again began to scatter in the lands.The orders are weak.We cant fought against this madness mach longer,our power are weak and now our only hope lies somethere in the west still hidden in the shodews of the future.You must fine this hope,you must save this land."
The Mistress sat on the throne and the old man began to speak.Meron couldnt have time to ask any question but were many in his head.
"Now,you must go west in to the mountains,there you will find the lost prophecy and understand the path but hear word,the land isnt save anymore,the tricks of the Dream Master are insidious,you must be carefull,you must see your way and understand your place in this world."
Yet Meron couldnt say anything.He have understanded....

The sourceress looked at Meron one last time, hoping that it was not the last time that she would be seeing him. "I shall you with my invicible spell, it will lear you out of here un-noticed by anyone except the "forces of truth", which means only we can see, smell and hear you and no-one else! this shalll protect you for a few days only, so you must hurry! I shall also send some of my people before you to clear the way of evil for, my child!" she leaned foreward and kissed him on the forehead and said some vords to him and dissapeared in a flach of lightening!
Meron looked dowen and gasped. He has no body, although Nea had told him she had use the invisible spell, he was still shocked! Meron gathered his sword and quichly got onto a hore and rode into the distance, and if anyone were to look in hes direction, all they would see is the horse!.......

Night had fall.Meron did not stopped until dust.He was tired,they road was hard and the horse couldnt go anymore.He set a small fire and baked some meet.The food gave him back some streinght but he was still to tired to continue.Time was against him,the spell of the Mistress was going to venish after 3 days and he knew he must get to the bridge of Mon.Wind have begin to breathe from the east.Meron stood up and look north and suddenly like he was hit but a lightening.A dark montain now stood infront of him,his was standing on the top,looking down.There was nothing there exept a tiny light that was trying to servive in the strong darkness whck now have began to thicken.What was that?
The vision was gone,he was again under the three where he have stop for a snack,he have saw it,he have saw the hope of free people....

Meron was starting to panic! The thought of having the hope of the free people in his hands was a little unnerving to him! "Okay! Take a deep breathe and relax" he said to himself slowly! Suddenly he sat a shadow emerging from the west comming closer and closer to him! He wasn't sure what it was but at first but as it approached closer, it looked like a hooded figure, tall and walking elegantly! Who was it?!...

It was an archer from the land of Kendor.Her sea blue eyes were noe fixed on Meron.The man stood up and look at her trying to figure out if she was here to make sure he will find the path of the dead sooner.
"I am Mela and i am send from king Ter to help you"
"But how do you know that i need help?"-asked Meron still not trusting her.
"The Mistress sent one of her beloved douthers to warn us about the Dream Master and the king sent me."
Meron put bak his sword deciding that she wasnt lying but still he thuoght to look after her in case she turn a tratoir just like Naico.He have already learn that no one can be trusted.
They went east in the morning to the desert land of Ifel.they have just passed the forest of Gel when a strange man appear in front of them....

The man stepped up towards them and bowed to Mela! "Greetings m'Lady!" And he bowed to Meron! Turning back to Mela he spoke again "The king brings a message for you!"
"What did he say?" spole Mela quickly!
"The king says to not go throug this forest and new evil had dwelt here within and bread to make your worse nightmare come true! Pass through the caves of Morsoll and move swifly! And a safe journey he bid to thee!" And with that he looked at Meron one more time and jured around and disappeard......

Meron was condused and he dint know what to do... and looked at Mela who seemed angry

"I dont trust him"-said Meron.he look of this man was in some way strange.he sensed that something isnt right.Something dark was working here but still thre was a chance that the forest is dangerous and they can went in to trap and lose everything on the verry begining.
Mela didnt say anything.Meron was sure that she thinks the same way.there was too much chance in both directions.
"You will come with us"-said Mela at the end of the silence that have raised.
The man didnt say anything then he anweres simply:
"I will come,but whick way?"
"We'll take the cave way and if you are lying this will be the last road you go through."
The man didnt say anything but just stepped in front of then and said:
"I'll show you the way".....

they started to journey up in the direction of the caves. The air has started to get colder and colder! Meron kept giving the messenger evil looks all the way. Al last evening came and the company set up a small camp. The made a small fire to keep them warm in the cold weather. The all tried to get some rest for the next day, but it was almost impossible. Meron was very hungry and cold but after what seemed years to him he slowly fell asleep.
The next morning Meron jerked awake and he heard Mela cursing and shouting. The messenger was noway to be found…. :eek:

but in the place where he had lain was a fine sprinkling of silver dust.

"Now what is that?" Meron burst out.

"It looks like moon dust, but how it got here, I have no idea. Only a handful of people know how to work with it." Mela replied. "Be careful. Don't touch it!"

"Why? Is it dangerous?"

"Of coruse its dangerous" she replied to his question. "If you touch it, it can do all sorts of theings to you. its harmful too."
The mooon dust looked so shiny, soooo beautiful that it made meren want to touch it!
"are you listening to me or not" cane Mels's voice fron a distance and Meron woke from his day dream.
"Huh?" looking confused he said "sorry what did you say!"
Sheshaked her head slowly "Getting offtrack are we?" and smiled :) "I said we have not got enough time to figure out this mystry but still give it some thought through out today, we have a long journey and im sure we;ll have enought time to think about it...."

The caves were dark like it was night.The path was small and the walls were too narrow.Meron was walking in front of Mel.Without the messaneger everything now lookes diffrent.Meron didnt like their gide at first but he now realised how important actuallu he was.
They were standing on two-way road.They didnt know what to do.Where to go nor what they will see?
A sound.A destine sound came from one of the ways.It didnt make any sense at the begining but then they hearded clearly.It was a cry of a baby.
The didnt think anymore but began to run through the tonnel...

They didn't think anymore but began to run through the tunnel towards where the sound of the baby came from! they came to a fork in the passace and so they decided to split up. "i'll go this way and you go that way" said Merlon. He felt so much braver than he had felt for a long time. Strenght flowed throught him as he had never felt before. There was something about the baby's soung that mage him feel powerful....

"Hurry,hurry"-a voice from inside was telling him all time time while he was running.He saw a sparcling light far from him,somewhere the tonnel was ending and where the baby was crying.He began to run faster ot he was thinking he was,but his didnt realise how weak he have become and that he wont have the strainght to fight a mostress creature if there was one there where the baby was crying.He light was growing as he was closing and at last he was there.A big room,full of candels and dark spell written all over the place.Three wizard in black robes were standing in the middle and in the circle they've made it was it-the baby.Small and innocent as notihing in this world could be and yet his destiny was not to see the daylight once again but to fall in to the shadows dorever where only darkness is what you see,where there is no happiness but only sadness.Who can do such thing?Who can take the life from such a small thing?

Meron quickly span around to see who it was! Surprise took over him! It was someone who he had not expected to see!
"Mela" he whispered, not believing his eyes!
"yes! its is I! And much worse than this i have done!" she said with a smile on her face! then turning impatiend she said to the wizard opposite her "Bind him!"
The wizad, who was much taller than Meron and stronger picked him and threw him down into the darker corner of the cave! Meron could not see him any more but could feel him tying Meron's hands with a rope.
"Must...not...let...him....hilll....baby", Meron thought. He found it a struggle just to think. She was alos finding it very hard to breath! "Must...cause...a...diversion..."!
He had thought of a plan, but as he couldnt thing full, the plan seemed quite vague..... :eek:

The wizard was strong, but his main strength was in spells and enchantments, not in binding with coarse rope. In this was Meron's hope. He clenched his fists hard as the rope was being tied. The wizard, content that Meron was well bound, stepped away. Meron relaxed his hands. It worked! The rope was less tight, but he could still not remove his hands. He leant back against the hard rock. It was rough-hewn and dug into his back like blades.

"Blades!" he thought. "The walls are flint."

Hope rose again in his heart as Mela chanted dark incantations over the helpless baby. A fire was lit in an iron basket before the altar. Meron did not dare to think what its purpose was. Instead he shifted his hands to find a jagged piece of flint close enough to work the rope against.

Time was running out.

But time served him and he found that the cords loosened enough to get his hands free.

His one thought was to not let Mela see that he was loose, but he needn't have worried. Mela had not seen his actions, her spell kept her mind focused.

However, in the darkness behind the altar, a flicker of movement caught his eye. There was a shimmer of metal and then movement directly behind her...

Meron watched, the tension of the moment left him without will to move.

It was the stranger that took them in this cave.The one that have disapeared on the next day leaving just the moon dust.Now he was standing there with a sword and a shield made of gold.He ran towards Mela like he have have always wanted it to do it.The blade stab her in the heart and there at in the cave where she was hoping to find only hapiness of what she was about to do she found nothing else but death for what she have done.Mela was lying on the ground and everything around her was in blood.The other wizards looked at her with horror in their eyes.They made a spell and teleport from this place at once leaving the baby and what have happend behind in the past.
Meron stepped foward but he didnt even have the strainght to talk.

When the wizards disappeared and Meron realized he was alone, he turned to look at the child.

Lying in her blankets next to the body of Mela, surrounded by blood - she was surprisingly quiet.

Meron walked slowly over to her and bent down. She turned her head and looked at him and he was shocked at the intelligence that radiated from her green eyes. As clear as if it was spoken beside him, he heard a small, quiet voice say in his mind, 'Pick me up.'

He lifted her into his arms and took her out into the cold dawn.

"What should i do now?"he thought.He was alone in a dark cave with a child in his hands.A cold wind came from nowhere and the hall was captivated with coldness.
"Take me to Kemeron."
Meron heard the same quite voice and he realise now that he was hearing the child's thoughts."But how is that possible?"Meron could realised it but he havnt got time for thinking now.He saw a sparkel from one of the tunnels and he ran against it.Soon he was the light at the end and he was out sooner than he expected.The child was freezing,his horse was gone and now he didnt have a transport to Kameron.He took of his leather jacket and put it around it.He have never taken care of a child before and he felt so fulish.
"Dont worry.I'll be fine"
The same voice.How is this possible.Then suddenly in the sky something big flew.Meron looked up.
