Guid to Names of LoTr

Wondering if anyone else has read this v. informative work and what you think of it? IMO, it not only discusses a lot of interesting things about the names of place in LoTR and how they correlate with other languages.

An excellent piece of work and one intended by Tolkien to be distributed (to translators of The Lord of the Rings in Tolkien’s own lifetime) which means it can be considered canonical in a way that nothing published after Tolkien’s death can be.

It is somewhat surprising that Christopher Tolkien did not reprint it as part of the HoME series.
