What is your favorite verse or verses from the Bible, Torah, Koran, or whatever your Holy Book is? Mine is the one in my sig., but other than that my other favorite is Romans 8:31- "What then shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?"

Anyway, let me know what some of yours are.;)

2 Timothy 4:7-8

7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:

8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a acrown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

This is Paul talking. I can only hope that someday I can say this with him.

"I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith."

My favorite verse is Romans 8:28

We know that in everything God works for good with those who love him, who are called according to his purpose.

"Let not your heart be troubled. You believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions. If it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you, and if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you unto myself that where I am, there ye may be also."

John 14:1-3

Thats my #1 Fave :D . My second I recently just stumbled across but I don't know the refrence, its in Revelations and part (or all of it) is "Do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself" Those 2 are my favorites.

*cough* It's Matthew 6:34 ;)

My favorite is Ecclessiates 3:1 - To everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under heaven.

That's another one of my favorites! Rock on. I found that one shortly after my dad's death, and it was a huge comfort to me.

Probably my ultimate favorite is now in my sig.

"...Peace be unto thy soul; thy adversities and thine afflictions shall be but a small moment; and then, if thou endure it well, God shall exalt thee on high; thou shalt triumph over all thy foes."

Freakin' awesome.
