Not that there's really any use in trying, I doubt even John knew what everything he was seeing was. But even so...lets throw some verses around and see what we can make of it.
The only thing that I think can really be interpreted is already interpreted, and that is the size of the New Jerusalem. It will be 12,000 stadia in length, width, and height, and the walls will be 144 cubits thick! That may mean nothing to you, but a stadia is 1400 miles while a cubit is 200 feet. Now, I've done the math and have discovered that the New Jerusalem will be........(drum roll here)..........16 million, 800 thousand (16,800,000) miles in length, width, and height, and the walls will be 28,800 feet thick! That is a BIG FREAKIN CITY!!
Anyway, thats not really an interpretation so much as a fun fact that I like. Now we shall get to some real interpretations....anyone have any verses they want to toss up to discuss? (if not then I will)

Go ahead, Glorfindel. I can give you some lovely Mormon explanations of Revelation!
And I hate to disagree with you already, but I think (that's my nice way of telling you) that your math is wrong on the city. The city would be twelve thousand furlongs, or stadia. A stadium is about 607 English feet, or about 185.2 meters.
When you calculate it all out, you get 2,744,000,000 cubic miles.
(Or maybe you calculated it right, but didn't multiply it all out? Now that I think about it, that seems about right. So ignore the above telling you you're wrong. ;))

OK, well, Glorf, you need to get on the ball! ;) LOL, well, Bethy's gonna post some verses now. :D
1 And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the bseals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four cbeasts saying, Come and see.
2 And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.
3 And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see.
4 And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.
5 And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand.
6 And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.
7 And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see.
8 And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.
What are the horses? Are they figurative or literal? What does each represent? What do the seals represent?
Of course, The Mormon has her own views on these, but I prefer to see what others have to say first.
