View Full Version : Which Man am I?

OK- this is a blatent rip-off of Lasgalen's 'Which Elf am I?' thread, but it's such a good idea that I thought I could use the same thing here.

For those that don't know the rules, a person gives a hint about a particular Man (eg, 'I cut the One Ring from Sauron's hand?'), and everyone else has to try and guess the answer (eg, 'Isildur').
The person who answers the hint correctly asks the next hint.

I'll start:

'I slew the last of the great dragons'

'I thought Gandalf would roast me for "mucking about" but it turns out the old guy was so glad at the news I gave him, that no such thing happened!'

Aulë

As Starflower did not post anything until this day, I will post the next question:

"I married the love of my life, slew a dragon, but never truely found happiness"

Indeed, Gandalfthegrey is correct.

I'll wait another day for him to post the question, if one hasn't been posted by then, i'll post a new one. :)

Thank you, Scatha. :)

I had thought it best to await official confirmation of my answer before proceeding with a new question. * bows *

WHO AM I?:

"Having defended my people from Orcs and so gained headship, I led my people to Estolad and later further Westwards, then even unto the Forest of Brethil, choosing independence rather than an offer of protection from the Eldar, however kindly meant."

Scatha

I'd say that would be Beorn?

Incorrect. You (and indeed everyone) are welcome to make a different guess.

I was appointed Karmo-kundo, and was respected more highly then my insolent Uncle or father, and I won many battles and won much acclaim for my achievements, I was the friend to the free men, and victor over the wild men, I was the King of the great Men and one of the greatest of all Men.
