Well,......Some people think I am weird because I like anime - they look at me like "how can u sit there and watch cartoons! they r only for little kids!" And Im to annoyed to explain to them, so I just ignore them and let them think Im weird.:rolleyes:
Also, some people think Im weird because i like Lord of the RIngs and Harry Potter at the same time. And Im guessing most of the fans of one dont like the other......:(

I like them both. A lot. And if this makes me weird then I don't want to be normal (actually I'm weird anyway and proud of it :D ). I understand though why some LOTR fans don't like HP, it's a copy they say; even if it is a copy then it's still good because it copies a wonderful book, I say. But enough of that.
Since I'm already here, I'd like an apple pie and some milk. :D :p ;)

lol, it's ok, but um, I'm blond(well, not really, I just look it, not my choice, don't feel like explaining) and I really don't like it when ppl stereotype like taht, it's cool if u stereotype by all the funky and rediculous clothes ppl wear, and the way the act, but no hair colors!

hmm.... I like cartoons... well, not most of them, but I like dragonball Z, and I like cartoon movies, and all the little ppl movies (lion king is the best movie ever!!!)
there's nothing really good about being normal....unless you count the fact that ppl don't bug u bc they think ur weird, but if u do it right, that can b pretty amusing, so there's relaly ntohing bad about that either, sooooooo..... yeah, nothing

I went to an anime convention last weekend.......
well, i've been to four anime conventions so far......and counting;) and I'll tell ya now, you are NOT wierd for liking anime!!!!^_^

*screams* well Arlina, I had an explanation of conventions that was about 2-3 paragraphs long, but then when I went to post it, TTF was temporarily offline and IT GOT ERASED!!! *screams again* and I am NOT retyping that!!!! gomen nasai.

ok ok ok. during conventions, there's LOTS to do. there's the dealer's room, where can buy anything from VHSs and DVDs to mangas to t-shirts to kimonos to cards to plushies to figures to wallscrolls and posters and so many other things! there's also the artist's alley, where people sell their art or put it on display, and the gaming room, where tons of people get together to play games, and the video room, where you can watch anime. and there's tons of people around who are in costume as their favorite characters, so remember to bring a camera!, and the cosplay where the costumed people get together and do skits. and the dances and concerts, and the workshops on stuff like how to write/speak japanese, origami, life in japan, how to draw anime, and all sorts of other stuff. and there's sooooo much to do there that I could never write it all! and of course, this explanation isn't as long or as good as my last one, but it'll have to do.

WOW!! In about two years, I believe, there's suppose to be a convention near where I live, and all of my friends are all ready trying to make plans to go there... Hope it's fun!!

Inuyasha doens't come on here until like 1:30 at night, or you could say morningg...which ever, and sometimes I fall asleep before it comes on... :( :D

There's nothing weird with ice-skating, just some people think that it is, and that I'm way to over obessed with it...I don't know...people are just strange like that!! :D

Oh, I know. I dream a lot. People have even told me to stop dreaming and start living. :p But dreams are so much better. It's so good to live them through in your head and mind. Develop a great story and take a part in it. :D Wonderful. Helps to survive the difficulties of life. :) I know. :D :D :D
I just sometimes have those gloomy moments when I pity myself and cry because of the evil in the world. :rolleyes: And then I force myself to think positively. ;)

Dreams are a way for people to escape the hardships of reality and life. If we coundn't escape either through books or otherwise we'd just be plain dull. Im sure middle earth ws thought up as a dream in Tolkiens head and im happy it was :D

I would go even further and say that without dreams life would be unbearable. And dreams help you not only escape the hardships of life, but also to cope with them. I mean, they help you calm down and make you happier, and this way it's much better to deal with bad things. My dreams have helped me a lot.
Middle-Earth being Tolkien's dream - I think it's highly probable. Maybe he saw or read something and began to think about it and develop the story in his head. That's what I do - and if I wrote my dreams down, I'm sure there would be people to read and love them... But I don't have the time and talent. Anyway, I'm lucky to have really wonderful real dreams (I mean those things I see while sleeping) - and then I usually develop the story in my day-dreams. It's like writing a book or making a movie in my head, only it's also me living through all kind of situations. And it's wonderful.
