Why not in Belgium that's a shame I can't accept that!!!
Ahem. I suppose that's what living in this little country means. Now you understand why I want to study in the UK?... And for Annie Lennox doing the song, that's good news. I never got over "Love song for a vampire.":o Well...Maybe the title said everything.

Yes, they are doing such a thing here in California, too! :D It is bringing much joy to the LotR fans over here as well. :)

Annie Lennox...is she the "sweet dreams are made of these" lady?

Oh yeah...

"Sweet dreams are made of these
Who am I to disagree
I travelled the world and the seven seas
Everybody's looking for something..."

That song used to scare me as a kid. She's kind of scary, heh. She's doing the RotK theme song? Interesting...I'll make a judgment on that once I hear it. ;)

Huh... I have an Annie Lennox album and a Eurythmics album but I never noticed that Annie was part of Eurythmics. I like her music.

LOTR marathon, that would be really long! I don't think I could sit still for the whole thing! Two hours of movie watching and I'm done! (with some exceptions)

I've heard rumors that there will be stretch breaks inbetween the movies...at least here at our local showing.

I heard such a thing too! My friends and I have already started formulating ideas for this. We're going to have to bring about thrity bucks in snack money alone; this marathon will last more than the entire day. We're going to dress up. All of us. Definitly no doubt about that one. The two in the trio besides myself are probably going to play the drinking game with at least one of the movies; I won't participate in this as one: I can never memorize all the things to drink at except "When Boromir has clean hair drink five pints" and two I hate going to the bathroom in the middle of movies.

Much joyousness!

I think that is a great idea, especially since it is going to be like an early Christmas to all the Tolkien fans out there. It may also get more people into reading books if they are willing to watch movies all day long, that is. I just wish we had something like that here. Please?

How many of you lucky ones actually have your tickets?
