Elbereth cocked an eyebrow at him and nonchalantly said "á undulavë" (which for those who are not fluent in Quenya...means "Drown") And with that said a flood of water splashed down on top of him, extiguishing his flaming hand. Elbereth then had to stifle a giggle for korhall now looked like a sulking wet cat.

Then turning an apologetic look at the poor hobbit she said,"Sorry about that Narya dear...but you have to admit....water is much better than fire. And I'll have that cleaned up for you right away, even if I have to do it myself. And as for you korhall, cool off. Save your fire tricks for outside ok? Or else we shall have a very angry hobbit on our hands...and one should never under estimate angry hobbit...they may be small, but they got more fight in them than one would expect."

Elbereth then immediately requested a mop be brought out before the hobbit could respond....and proceeded to mop the damp floor as she had promised.

Alright, maybe we can have another contest here. Something that will include everyone in the pub.

I am thinking of having a song contest. But not an ordinary song contest. This song contest starts with me.

We will be singing a song that tells a story, and the next person should continue the story in the form of a song (meaning verses) doesn't have to follow a certain tune, you can sing it the way you please.

*clears her throat, stand on a table and in her small hobbit voice began*

Elbereth comes over with her handy dandy mop to see if she can help clean up the mess. Taking one look at the bursted korhal...she gets a frightened expression...hands the mop to a person next to her and walks to the other side of the bar to order a nice stiff drink.

The little hobbit ran towards the back of the kitchen out ot her garden and took five fresh oranges plucking them right from the tree and then she juiced them and served them to the elf and waited for the result.

Ok, we are having the ANNUAL BREAD FESTIVAL Soon!

There will be new contests, and new festivities going on.

I will need volunteers for decorations, music, and invitations.

"Hey! I could get my Ent friend Hempdread to come DJ the festival. Or I could help book a musical act if you like. I love organizing things like that. I'm also good at decorating! So if you need my help, just let me know."

Yes! Of course I need your help, Elbereth Queen of Stars *bows down to the very tall Vala*. And your friend Hempthread can join as well. It will be most welcome to see an elf inside my pub for once. But can he sing Disco music?? KNowing ents, they are kinda...um..should we say, slow... not to sound demeaning though, I know they are not hasty...

Elbereth comes racing back into the the WW Pub with arms filled with decorations which she picked up at the local general store, after her short trip to the Christian Cup....

Out of Breath, Elbereth exclaims, "Hey Narya! I'm sorry I am so late. I hope I haven't missed the bread festival?"

*walks in* "Hello. Whats a bread festival?"

"Ok....maybe this is just a shot in the dark...but I think it is a festival for bread perhaps?" *angelic grin*

Yes, that's right, a Bread Festival is a festival where the main focus would be bread. In this case, Middle Earth pastries. So if you people know how to bake, better get going before we begin our Bread around the world contest. ;)

[Elbereth]

"Hmmm....well there goes my low carb diet. Although I do know a way to counter balance the fattening effects of the bread festival...Dancing!"


Elbereth then snapped her fingers and in walks Hempdread the Rastafarian DJ ent and his two Hobbit DJ's carrying his equipment.

After a few brief momments of set up...Hempdread starts spinning the tunes causing the dancefloor to fill with happy dancing patrons.

"WoooHooo! Let's Get this Festival Started!!!!"

* korhall walks over and asks elbereth if she would like to dance. the mix between hope in his eyes and that pinch of nervousness, with a little bit of rogush charm is plain on his face*

"Sure thing korhall! As long as you can keep up" Elbereth says slyly with a wink. ;)

She then grabs korhall and they go dancing into the crowd of patrons in the center of the dancefloor while the crowd falls into the beat of Hempdread's crazy bongo playing.

Since I don't know how to dance I just start throwing croutons at everybody while chilling with the hobbits that came with hempdread the ent

As Greypilgrim throws the croutons in the air...a group of hobbits see the crumbs falling and begin jumping in the air trying to catch it....but because they jumped to the beat of Hempdread's bongos....the rest of the crowd thinks it is a new dance and begin to copy them...and the dancefloor is filled with everyone hopping to the beat.

"Hooroomm! Mon!!! Dance to the beat....Hoooroom Mon....stomp the bread at your feet!

Hoooroom! Mon!!! Jump....Jump!!! Hooroom! Mon! Thump, thump!"

And Hempdread continues the song as the dancers continue the dance...and with each verse...the crowd sings along and the room is filled with the sounds of Hempdreads rhythmic lyrics and crackling sound crunching croutons.

"I should have warned you Nim....that Barley Beer has a mighty punch to it. But then again Narya could have told you that too." ;) :)

"Well Narya, I thought I'd bring over the pans now ahead of time so I won't need to bring them later...I don't want to miss the bread eating contest for the world."

*Awakes after being hoisted (rather harshly I might add) up onto her seat*

Bread Eating Contest Rules

each contestant will be given a large tray of assorted bread - some of them containing jams and other surprises inside. Once I give the signal contestants should start eating (which means posting - 1 post = 1 bread)
when a contestant posts that is equal to only 1 PLAIN BREAD, they must post as follows:

ate: 1 Bread
Kind: Plain
Points: 5

I will be the one to post a Jam bread or surprise bread content. Like this:



Jams: Mango, Sweet Beans, Peanut Butter, Pineapple


each contestant can choose a Jam each, the first contestant to post gets to have the point awarded for the Jam and lost turns incurred by his/her choice will be nulled. So post fast! If the choice of the first poster is the ringer bread lost turn will not be void, and next contestant's lost turn will be voided out. Also be careful with your choices.

If contestant accepts the bread with Jam they earn points but loose turns depending on the kind of content the bread has. If they accept, they will post the following:



Ate: 1 bread with Jam (place name of Jam)


then I will post the point associated with the Jam and the number of turns lost. Rest assured that the points will suffice for the loss of turn but there is a ringer bread that has 0 points and 5 lost turns! So be careful in your choices ;)

The contestant with who reaches 150 points first wins the game.
To ensure fairness, Elbereth will have a copy of the Jams and their corresponding points plus the ringer bread so you won't say that I am making it up. :P
