Elven lineages

I think it is time to launch a small project, in charting the lineages of the elves from Tolkien's work. Anyone interested in pitching in is welcome. :D

This way, the Children of the Stars will have a referral for their favorite race.

I would pleased to help in any way that I can, as much as I can given how often I can get to the forums, which right now is plenty since I'm about to be on break from school.;)

I really do hope more people will help in putting together this project, to chart as much of the elven lineages as we possibly can.

I'll help out, Scatha luvvie. :D What format do you want to do this in? I don't really know quite what you're looking for. And will we be tracing from the bottom up (i.e. from Arwen to....well, Tuor and Idril on up) or from the top down (Feanor to his sons, etc.)? Just let me know, I'd be happy to help. I should have lots of time on my hands over Christmas break. ;)

I aimed to go top down, as the interest may grow in future and we can split off the work. :)

RD, thank you very much. :D As for not being a member, feel free to come in and post any time. :) This certainly does help a lot.


With RD's info, which is very complete btw and covers almost all of the important aspects of the elven lineage, how about we try and set up a small summary of every person on that list?

We could link the summary to the name of the person on the "tree".

That sounds like a good idea to me Scatha. I'll try to write summaries for a few of the names on the tree (though someone else may have to explain to me how to link them for I am computer illiterate). I should be able to have them within a week, and if I don't then PM me and yell, cause I tend to forget.
