Merry Christmas, dear friends.
I wish you all the best, all! I hope you have a wonderful Christmas with the people you love, with the ones you dream to be with...
On this Holly Holiday, meet your dearest people, look them in the eyes and kiss them, as friendly and kindly as your heart allows you. Say just one good word, like "I love you" (ok, three work too:)), and be happy with the happiness you have seen in these same eyes. Hug your friends and send them even just one good thought.
I hope you all enjoy this day as well as all the others that are to come.
Be happy.
Merry Christmas!:)

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL GUILD MEMBERS!For Christmas I got a new hardback single volume Lord of the Rings to replace my worn out, sellotaped 3 paperbacks; and a Lord of the Rings version of Trivial Pursuits (I haven't opened it yet, and it's the movie version so I won't have any advantages over the rest of the family). My daughter (forum name Holly) got the One Ring on a chain, which fits into a little Mount Doom which lights up when the ring goes in.
:D We went Christmas shopping after watching RotK at the cinema, and the shop was so crowded the trolleys couldn't move at the aisle crossroads. I was rather amused and anounced "You shall not pass!" Gandalf style. Quick as a wink, the lady next to me took her imaginary staff and crashed it onto the imaginary bridge in front of her. We both giggled.

Merry Christmas everyone. What d'you mean I missed it? Oh well, it's the thought that counts. And as not to offend anyone (people from england might understand this, there was something in the paper about the phrase 'Merry Christmas' offending 0.000001% of the population.) Happy Non-Religion-Discriminatory Seasonal Feast Of Good Will.

And as not to offend anyone (people from england might understand this, there was something in the paper about the phrase 'Merry Christmas' offending 0.000001% of the population.) Happy Non-Religion-Discriminatory Seasonal Feast Of Good Will.I seem to remember one local authority (was it Manchester?) who tried to change Christmas to something totally secular-sounding. The result? The other 99.99999% of the population were offended.
Incidentally, I've been looking at the questions in my Movie Trivial Pursuits (see above), and there are loads of questions which I hope are Extended Edition spoilers where bits of the book are put back in. (the game is endorsed by New Line Cinema and all the answers pertain to the films, not the books - eg: Arwen at Fords of Bruinen).
