I just wanted to be the first to wish you all a very happy Hogmanay, and I hope the new year brings you all the happiness and joy you deserve. Hopefully this Hogmanay will live up to the fun some of us Tweens had together last year (although maybe with less flatmates being ill the next day!).

HAPPY HOGMANAY!!!

Haha, yeah, I was thinking the other day it would've been cool to do that again. Still I guess it was good we didn't with it all being cancelled!

Still new year rocks, muchos good music, muchos silly music, muchos dark nightclub, muchos jumping, little drinking - but thats just me, muchos hugging, muchos getting a lift home, muhocs being cold, muchos having to brush of the snow from the doorway (hardly any, but it made me feel good that I could), getting lost in our curtains (we've got new ones that don't have a gap in the middle), going to bed, sleeping till midday, being told by my dad to get up, watching the end of two random films, going for a meal, going to grandma and grandads, remembering how rubbish bruce forsythe is, watching comedies on bbc, coming on here.

Gosh - I've been busy this year.

Lol, sounds like fun!

I spent the start of the New Year running. Literally. We were in a pub until 11:40pm, then decided we actually wanted to be at my flat for the bells, so we ran the 2 miles home and got there at 12:05am. Not exactly the perfect night, but we had a good flat party and I didn't get up until 4pm. Not as good as last year (how could it compare!!), but still fun. What did the rest of you get up to? And what's everyone's resolutions for 2004? Here are mine:

- Get fit. Specifically, play badminton with my new racket and go swimming more
- Organise to do things as soon as they need doing and not leave it until the last minute
- Stop biting my nails (this is an annual one)

I might be stupid, but what is Hogmanay?

Oops, sorry!

Hogmanay is the Scottish word for New Year's Eve. Traditionally, it's a bigger celebration than Christmas, but now is just an excuse to get together with your nearest and dearest friends and have a damn good night!
