A recent announcement hasn't seemed to grab anyone's attention, so I figured I would start a thread. So first of all, my name is Dain.

*Hi Dain!*

Thank you, thank you. I am a mod over at MERPG, www.middleearthrpg.com, TTF's sister site! It's a real fun place and is a purely post-by-post roleplaying site in the setting of Tolkien's Middle-Earth. You can take part in many guilds, such as the rebellious lot of Renegades, or role play with friends in the First, Second, Third, or Fourth Age. Currently we have a few members (Nom comes to mind) who have extreme interest in starting First/Second Age RPs, but not enough people have the required background in these early histories of Middle-Earth. So if you are a Silmarillion buff, and always wondered just where Morwen wandered after her grim seperation from her daughter, or perhaps the many labors of the sons of Feanor, this is the opportunity to act it out for yourself.

The Chronicles are a very unique thing to MiddleEarthRPG, that has been ongoing ever since TTF was created. It has been restarted to the death of Elessar Aragorn II, and the realms are exactly (or as close as possible) to how Tolkien left them. This is your opportunity to create your own Middle Earth history, but still drawing upon the knowledge Tolkien left us for the Fourth Age. Always wandered what the view of Gondor was like through the eyes of a Southron? Maybe the sorrow of the fading Elves? Only one way to find out...

So please, post any comments or questions you have in this thread. This is designed to get some more people over at MERPG (not to steal people from TTF, mind you, as it is TTF's own site) and into the realm of role-playing. It really can be a lot of fun.

:D www.middleearthrpg.com! :D

Rhi loves the Chronicles.

...like that carries any weight with anyone...

Anyone interested in roleplaying in Middle Earth can find us on this expansion board of TTF. For those that feel they aren't good enough, there is also a sort of school (Heren Istarion), where you can get some more experience, while roleplaying, before you can jump into the larger stories on the board.

Everyone is welcome. :D

HAH! Not likely. Anyway, Rhi doesn't have a realm. Ele is a sweet and innocent maiden and her handmaiden will rip your heart out if you mess with her. But if Rhi had a realm, Mr. Wooden Spoon would have to pry it from her cold, dead fingers. And even then rigor mortis would set in and he wouldn't get it. Ha ha!
