I was searching for some Tolkien/LOTR forum... and what do you know... there The Tolkien Forum out there... so I decided to register...

I'm 21, from Poland... (so sorry about my English, spelling and grammar mistakes...)
I'm probably one of the few here that discovered Tolkien's work after the first movie was released... and I've read the books only once (Hobbit, LOTR and Silmarilion)...well actualy TTT I've read twice... :p
I have nothing against the PJ's work... I suppose it would have to be a 60+ hour TV series to show everything from the books and not a 12 hor movie...
...you know... the book is one thing and the movies are the other things... I like both of them the same way...
BTW... are there some Elvish language teachers here? I would like to know a few words and sentences in Elvish...

Hello, Bathiu, and welcome to TTF! Don't worry about "talking too much"--you should see some of the other people's posts! Myself included, of course...;)

At any rate, don't worry about your spelling/grammar mistakes. I believe the majority of the members here aren't from English-speaking countries. It's not a problem.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask me. Just drop me a private message, I'm pretty good at responding rather quickly, as I spend as much time as I possibly can online.

As for Elvish words and phrases, like Niniel said, you can check out the Language forum. Also, you may visit the Guild of Eruhini--there is an Elvish thread in the Children of the Stars section, if my memory serves me correctly. Unless the mods moved it. :D Or you can just ask me!
