Hey all.

As you probably know, there is a move for an IRC-based quiz competition. Information can be found here. (http://www.thetolkienforum.com/showthread.php?t=14987)

The purpose of this thread is for GoO members to post their time zone and what times they will be available on a normal day. (These quizzes should last around 30 minutes.) Aule's breathing down my neck about this, so post quickly! Thanks.

It has come to my attention that IRC is not required to take part in the Quiz Competition. So there is no need to d/l that utterly confusing thing...

Aule's last post on this (http://www.thetolkienforum.com/showthread.php?t=14987) page contains a link. Follow it.

Also, if you're not interested please let me know...

Hello Outcastians.
As you may know, the Outcasts are against the Periaur in the 1st round of the Quiz Comp. The Periaur would prefer it if the quiz was held at 1800GMT on Tuesday.

Rhiannon has already said that she''d be able to compete then, so are there another 2 members out there that wish to assist her?

I'd love to compete, but unfortunately I have no access to a computer at that time.

Bad news. I can't be online Tuesday. Any other Tuesday...I can be available at the same time any other day this week, although it would be pushing it. So we might need to pass, unless some other people step forward.

OK, how about 1800GMT on Wednesday then?

That would be your last opportunity for this round though, as round 2 starts on Thursday.

My internet at home isn't working--something is wrong with our [insert swear words of choice] dial-up. So I'm out of the games at present.

Naaah, I'm still here. Yeah, I know that's not saying a whole lot since I didn't even show at the first one(my bad, have suitably beaten meself up about it), but I should be around for the others.
