I'd like to introduce myself. My chosen elven/fairie name is "CintielFae".
I'm 52 years old, an ex-hippie (well, actually, I'm probably still one at heart), an ex-nun (1970's), married 22 years with 3 kids (22, 18, & 7). I have been a Tolkien fan since I read the books, over 26 years ago. I love anything to do with elves, fairies, wizards, unicorns, etc. etc. etc. I've been this way for most of my life and guess what? My husband and kids are the same way. :)
Anyway, I'm pretty new to the cyber-world and have joined only two forums(each are for LOTR). This is my third. It's been an interesting experience. One forum has been a blast. Great group of young people (I, apparantly, am the oldest member :rolleyes: )..very open and light-hearted group,though. I found the other group to be too serious and very conservative. I look forward to experiencing this group. My husband suggested it. We met each other 23 years ago and our topics of conversation were "Lord of the Rings" and "The Chronicles of Narnia". :p We were destined. ;)
One more thing...I've seen ROTK 11 times (in honor of the oscars, of course).
I haven't had this much fun since Star Wars and Young Frankenstein. :)
