With a succesful of The Lord of the Rings, Peter Jackson continues on this relevant idea of Middle East. Now Peter Jackson is trying to achieved his maximum point in fame, by looking foreward to bring to the big screen The Hobbit.
But Jackson is not quite sure, as though he had rolled the succesful trilogy of The Lord of the Rings. As the Hobbit is a previous adventure to LOTR, Jackson thought that this adventure will have no point at all. But he wants to please Tolkien`s fans.
Do you really think this will be a clever move for Jackson, now that he rolled LOTR?

I think that "The Hobbit" would def be interesting by PJ. Many fans will want to see it and just because he did LOTR first, that does not restrict its appeal. I think that maybe he would be wise to wait for a while, but overall I think it would be a wise move. Its a guarenteed hit! I think he did justice to the books considering his restrictions.
Also I heard that the only reason he has not began work on "The Hobbit" is because two studios are debating who owns the full rights to it. I am not sure if this is true, but i have heard it on more than one occasion.

I was wondering about that too Joxy .
If PJ wants to please the Tolkien comunity then he should not attempt the Hobbit. LotR was successfull enough, he shouldn't try to press his luck.
they should have filmed the hobbit while they shot LOTR if they are serious about making it. they wouldve saved a lot of money on sets and props and such.

They lost three huge barrels between two shots in TTT. I wouldn't put much on their chances of saving anything. :D
