Yes. Earwen means sea maiden. And she is the mother of Galadriel.

Funny you should take that name, I have an RPG with both those characters in it. Earwen and Finarfin. You can check it out in MERPG if you have a liking for RPG's. You can join too, cause we are about to start the second book for that particular RPG and we still lack players for both Earwen and Finarfin.
