Hi! I'm 'Area, or that's my elvish name. It's Quenya(means Sunray with an extra a on the end) for those of you who got into the whole elven language thing. I'm actually all for Sindarin(go Eryn Lasgalen! if that's how you spell it:p )! Anyways, I just finished Return of the King, like last week and I've seen FOTR and the Two Towers. Yeah! I can't wait to see Return of the King! i'm going to buy all three extended Dvd's when I get my Dvd/Vcr player. Anyways, I'm talking too much! Thanks for having me.

Welcome to the forum :) I hope that you enjoy yourself here and find much to talk about concerning the books, films and languages of Middle-earth. :)

Welcome 'Area. I too am holding out for the Extended Edition of RotK, but I shall probably borrow it from the library in the meantime.
I'm not very good at learning languages solo, so I haven't learned Quenya or Sindarin except for the few phrases offered in LotR etc. Someone started a thread for learning Quenya, but I'm not sure if it's still current or been archived. The Search option should find it. I think Gate7ole started it, but he's had to go off for a year to do military service in Greece (or was it Cyprus? Greece I think!).
I hope you enjoy the Tolkien Forum.
