Here is a brief synopsis of the story.
- The town of Bree: A day in the life perspective of this active little town, includes stories from the locals and visitors alike. People can come and go as they like...although locals of course will remain throughout the story.
I will not list main characters...but of course if you are the Inn keeper at the Prancing Pony...I would expect you to be a consistant writer in the rpg.
I look forward to hearing your ideas.

I want to join, but I don't have any ideas for a character, other than the one I have for MERPG.

That is ok King Aragorn. It is perfectly fine if you want to bring in older characters from other rpg's. Bree is a place where so many different kinds of characters can interact with each other...you can even carry on your rpg plotline in here if that helps your creativity grow. Who knows...perhaps by doing that it can help bring new characters that you would never think of before enter into your rpg in MERPG.
That is the wonderful thing about this rpg...there are very few limitation. It is a town full of life and personality....and remember it is what you bring to it that will give it personality.
So welcome to the story and enjoy!!!

I'd love to join in any way, shape, or form, but I happen to have a handy profile for a barmaid at the Prancing Pony that I'd love to use!

Do we have to post a profile? Or do we just join in?

No profile needed...just feel free to hop right in...
And don't hold back from writing because I have started something in there. Bree is a big town...it has room for lots and lots of stories.
Jump in folks!!! The water is fine! ;)

You know I never did resolve the year of the rpg....any year would do...after the war of the ring obviously...but if anyone has a suggestion of when let me know.
However....greypilgrim...could you please edit your post a bit...the current story is taking place in the afternoon at the momment....either that or just indicate that this is 'later that evening'....that would suffice as well.
Thanks! ;)

If you're refering to the actual Town of Bree RPG thread, King Aragorn, then I assure you it's still there. If your forum settings are fixed to 'default' then I think that it will only show you posts made within the last month. With the last post in Town of Bree being made on the 1st of August it might not be showing up for you. If you change the 'view thread' settings in your User CP to 'from the beginning' or just alter it at the bottom of the 'From Eldamar to Erebor' section - you will be able to see it - though changing it in your User CP is probably the better option. That way you won't have the problem of disappearing threads again.

Sorry I haven't been posting much...I just have been in a rut and haven't had the time nor inspiration to write...but please continue on without me.
And if anyone is interested in joining in my current tales...here is a synopsis of what my characters are doing.
The absentminded Gatekeeper has just let in a dark stranger.
&
Finigan Breelander Senior is on his way to the Prancing Pony in a huff to give the patrons of that establishment a piece of his mind, while his son has finally decided to stand up to his father and follows right behind.

I would continue, but my character is waiting for an answer from the gatekeeper.
