History Lessons
I open this activity calling it “History Lessons”.
The idea is, whoever is willing to pick up a subject from the list below and after a through research throughout sources by and about Tolkien’s writings, as well as other sources – history, mythology, science etc, to provide an article/survey ....or whatever form of writing he/she chooses.
The main point is:
Let’s trace the history of the mythical world created by J.R.R.Tolkien.
The present thread shall be only for organization matters, ideas to be suggested and discussed etc..
All your suggestions and opinions please post here and I shall take care to update regularly the list with the new topics as well as with the names of those who have chosen a topic.
I shall also see to it that each posted thread is directly linked right from here, from the list!
No restrictions to number of chosen topics,
No restrictions to size of your article/survey,
No restrictions in time you need to prepare your article,
No restrictions to what form you choose to present your research in.
The only thing to pay attention to is: Let your writing be reliable!
Each one who writes a survey is welcome to open a separate thread for it, choosing a name as it pleases him/her. The only thing I’d ask, for the sake of better understanding and for the convenience of the readers, is to always name it:
“History Lessons - …. /and here goes your title/”
NB ! Each essay/survey ... or whatever form of writing you may prefer on the chosen topic, is to be opened only in the "Essays and Lectures" - section of the “Library of the Istary” – sub-forum, please!
Good luck!
