God(s)?

Were there any other peoples in Arda that worshipped Eru as the Numenoreans did? Or did they worship the Valar instead? Tolkien refers to the Valar as "Gods" on certain occasions, but this was in his earlier mythology (correct me if I'm wrong.)

They are 'gods', rather than 'Gods'.

Another way to look at it is that Eru is God, and the Valar and Maiar are 'angels' of different degrees.

The Elves refer to Elbereth Gilthoniel often, rather than to Eru, and they praise her much in songs.

The Dwarves would probably 'praise' Aulë their maker, though to what extent and in what way I wouldn't know.
