For Ithrynluin: Sorry if my question was misunderstood, but I do not remember stating anything in my post that would qualify as trying to violate copyright laws.
To my knowledge, the particular essay was presented by Tolkien himself during a lecture a very long time ago, so I don't think the copyright laws apply to possible transcripts of this lecture.
Anyways, you could have simply informed me of the fact that you think it would be illegal, and we'd be over with. Never mind, hereby I'd like to thank you for the welcoming... *waves his goodbye*

As far as I know, the piece of work you requested is protected by copyright laws as any other.

That is exactly what I did. I had to edit out the contents of your post in order to prevent anyone from replying to it or providing any links. Let me also say that a few Tolkien forums got into trouble with Tolkien Estates and were even shut down for having a lenient copyright policy.

If you want to be unreasonable and leave over that, go ahead. If you want to reconsider and stay, you'd be more than welcome.
