Arkei walked up to the building. It looked like it was standing only from definance. The windows were dusty and dirt was on everything. "With alittle work it will be a grand place." She opened the door and went to work on the dirt. Two days later, the windows were clean, there wasn't a spot of dirt in site. Arkei smiled, she was pleased, Soon there would be a sign above the door, talbles, chairs would be around this room, and up the stairs would be 12 rooms or so, all with comfortable furnature.
Arkei stood outside of the GOLDEN INN. The place was ready, the rooms each had a queen sized bed, a large comforable chair, a desk and chair, and a large fire place to finish the rooms off. Behind her counter were bottles of all shapes and sizes, filled with many drinks. The two fireplaces in the common room were ablaze with a warm glow. She also had found a room in the old building that made a great libray, the cilling in this room was high, bookshelves lined all of the walls but one, The shelves were covered in books, though there was room to add on, on the other wall was a large stone fireplace she placed many couchs and chairs into this room. Arkei walked up the repared steps and slid behind the bar, now all she needed were guests.

Rose walked into Golden Inn and vaulted onto the bar stool. Her backpack seemed not to give her any extra weight, she was as nimble as can be. She brushed her long brown hair out of her face. Looking around, she noticed the place was pretty desolate. Why doesn't anyone come here? She wondered What is it about this place? She ordered an ale from the barkeep and kept an eye out for anything that might make this place the dark, vacant inn that it is.

Walking into the Inn, Elendae noticed that there was only one young woman seated at the bar. Seeing as there was no other thing to do for the moment, he strode up to the bar and took a seat near the young woman. "How do you do miss? My name is Elendae."

Rose looked the young man up and down. He was tall and slender. Not bad looking at all. Too bad he was almost twice her size. Had he been a hobbit, she might have found him attractive. Nevertheless, he was the only company other than the barkeep. Rose introduced herself, and offered her tiny hand out to him. His grip was strong. She liked that. She watched him order his drink. His eyes were beautiful, and wise, as if although young, he had already experienced so much. She was intrigued, but as is her nature, allowed him to start the conversation first.

A man standing about 6'0" came through the door quickly, yet quietly. He wore light leather armor (think heavy jerkin), brownish iron thigh guards (they go down the outside of each upper leg stopping just above the knee), leather pants, heavy leather boots, and a worn travelling cloak (it doesn't have any holes or anything, it just well used).
Normally, you wouldn't be able to see his face, but with his hood down, it was visible that he that he's in his early 30s (31-1/2), however, his appearance plainly told a story of life in the wild. His appearance tells of him being a ranger.
Afer entering the inn, Orophin walked over toward the bar found a place at the bar. He looked weary yet his actions did not show it if he were. He motioned for the barkeep, and said, "A cup of warm tea please."

Rose looked at the newcomer, he was taller and older than the other man, yet there was something about him that just wasn't quite right, as if he was putting up a front, a facade. She wasn't intimadated sitting inbetween two full sized humanoids. But she wasn't thrilled either. This new man seemed too hardened, too ready. Ready for what? She wondered.

As Orophin sat there waiting for his tea, the halfling near him seemed troubled... Was it him? or was it something else? He didn't know and didn't really care, he'd just been in quite a fight, ten orcs vs. him... the odds were against, but he came through nearly unscathed, a graze in his side was his only battle mark.
While waiting for the tea to make, he got up and went outside.
((OOC: I gotta finish this in a little bit, college work... bah.))

Orophin came back inside the inn a few minutes later, carrying a small tub of water. He went over to one of the couches and removed his sword from it's sheath on his side. Dried blood seemed to coat the sword.
He sat down and laid the sword on the floor of the inn. He pulled a wet rag up out of the water and rang it out. He then picked back up the sword, laid it across his lap and began cleaning it.

Rose watched the man clean his sword of the black orc blood. It seemed to her as if he were showing off his battle. Whatever, she didn't care. She sipped her ale, and wondered whether there was anything more to this young man sitting next her or not.

A young man opened the door slowly, tears flowing down his cheeks... Seeing that the one side of the room was crowded, he went as far away from them as possible. Sat on the floor near the fire and silently wept. There was no sobs, no heaving in his shoulders, only tears; freely flowing down his face.

Rose looked over her shoulder as the door opened. A young man entered. The light was dim, but she could see the glistening tears on his cheeks. This moved her. How refreshing it was not to see the typical "manly-man." They kind of agrivated her. She wondered why he was not with loved ones in this time of need. Why had he chosen a bar for his solace? He had not ordered any drink, this was not a solace to get drunk. Rose was not yet sure if he wanted any company, as he chose an empty corner of the room. So, she watched him silently, waiting for any clue, any sign of what she should do.
