Everyone who is going to participate in the war between the Dark Legion and it's allies and the White Council and it's allies please announce yourself here. This rp has official numbered RP status, so it is not a place to goof off.

The rules of IC will be followed (so read them if you haven't already) and if you are a King or Leader, you may draw on reinforcements once per day. The reinforcements are limited to 500 standard troops of one of the following races: Elf, Man, Orc, Dwarf; and the following types: swordsmen, pikemen, cavalry, chariots, axemen, archers

You are not allowed to have any great advantage (i.e.: a dragon or an ent, or some fantastic weapon) over any of the other participants. State your name, alliegance (Dark Legion or White Council, for example), and your equipment.

200 dwarves (allies from the Iron Hills)
*This is what I shall consider for my army which shall fight either offensively or defensivey if need be, but in truth my armie number over 10,000 strong, though not by all to much*(just made it exactly 5,000 as per request)

Equipment- Maetha (Great black steed), Gosta-Aglar (My dark axe wrough in the Iron Hills), Crithabanga (My mithril helm/crown), and last but not least my great sword which apears as glimmering Red/crimson, Dagraharnol.

Very good! But so far only those that will be fighting on the "Black" forces have shown up...perhaps our newbie enemies do not realize that the war will take place here?

Comments: Sorry Mithers, I did a lot of thinking this week, and I really think Cir is right on this one, so I'll be joining him. Throw me out of the guild if you wish, but I'm with Cir. Might make it interesting anyways, having one Wizard on the opposite side. Evenstar, you're under me, but I'll let you decide what side you'll be on. That's all I have to say, besides let the war begin!

Elessar, you cannot have any wizards. Wizards are players only. And get a better knowledge of your own land. Tharbad is the only real city that is on the Greyflood other than Lond Daer. Therefore, it has been attacked and taken.

Talierin still keeps her powers. You cannot take them away.

I find it only fare that I should be able to have wizards, seeing my position in the affiliation, but I will not post it until I get permision.

A: you cleaned out the RP8 and, i established cities, you can look on my official map, or read around until you find mention of them:). Oh, and if that doesnt work with you, you have no cities either, as they were destroyed by your "kinsfolk" and Angmar :)
B: Tal quit the guild, if you are a wizard, your in the guild, if you arent a wizard, than your not. She isnt in the guild, so she isnt a wizard :)

I have several cities (Annuminas, Fornost Erain, Bree, all of the Shire, Forlond, and Harlond) and now I have Tharbad. Not Minas-Forn. Tharbad.

Tal retains her powers. YOU cannot take them away and Mithrandir himself (who certainly has a great deal more sense than you) said that she still has them.

I cannot guess what entity remains in the dark. Lorien? Mirkwood, perhaps? Esgaroth and Dale are friendly to the dwarves, and will come to our side, so I need not worry about them... When will your invisible friend come forth and declare him/herself? They do you little good hiding.

Is it me, or do some of you have mathematical problems?...

5000 troops is the limit for your attacking army. You get 500 reinforcements once per day per post, and those reinforcements must be either elves, men, dwarves, hobbits, or orcs.

Please make sure your posts in the War connect with the storyline, and don't do anything ridiculous. I reserve the right to be the judge of all posts.

um I don't mean to sound bossy, but i think we should make a rule that only Me, Dengen and Mithers (and Dain since he claimed it already) are of the Ainur. [Elessar are you hearing this?] Dengen and i have always been Maia; i assume Mithers is because he is the chief wizard (the original wizards were maia) You can't be one if you are a hier to the throne of a Kingdom in Middle earth... three or four is enough, it wouldn't be fair.. And this is only a rule in this RPG

once again, im sorry. But Ciryaher just wont allow me to fight fairly, I blame him for everything, as I always have. It would seem, Dain, that even your lands belong to someone else, I dont see how, as they are bordered by Rohan, Endenwaith, and unclaimed land west of the Anduin. As for poor, little Kementari, I suggest you read closer! I was in the right the entire time! Ciryaher is better at twisting speach and hearts than I am, which I have to admit, came as a rather large shock. I especially liked when he had Mike observe that I had taken hobbiton in combat (in the rebellion). It was part of a rather simple battle tactic. You have to hold land against the enimy if you wish to beat him, I still cannot beleive how little everyone knows of war. And, back on the subject, what the hell am I supposed to read closer? How about the part where ciryaher said that the cities I built werent allowed to exist, for no reason save his word; while he sat in Annuminas, a city destroyed in long years of arnorian war. Tell me, if he can re-build a city, than why cannot I build one? This is ludicris! I dont know why the hell I am trying to justify my case to you anyway....

This war has turned into something that I never wanted. It seems to be splitting up the main members of this forum, and is definitely not seeming to be a fun RPG made for recreation or what not. I hereby declare that the only allies that The White Council has is Rohan. We will attack no one, if Ciryaher still finds it nessacary to attack Rohan than we will defend it until the very end, but what I look for now is peace. The people seem happy w/ Ciryaher's rule, and therefore I no longer wish to disrupt that. I am afraid though that if Ciryaher still feels the need to bring my council "Down to a power more comforatable w/ him" than we will fight and go to war. So it boils down to this, attack Rohan or the White Council and we will fight, otherwise peace. I hope this will cool things down, and Talerin I pray that you will now join again w/ the White Council where you are most wanted, if you chose not to than absolutely no charges will be made and you will always be welcome as a guest in our buildings and in Rohan. That is all I have to say for now. May peace be attained.

Ok, this is what...the third time I've ever posted in the RP section, but here goes. There is no way that any Moderator is able to gain access to someone else's PMs unless the individual used the all too obvious "Forward" button at the bottom of PM screen to send the Moderator a copy. The Webmaster is the only person who has direct access to the Database and even at that, it is such a pain in the butt to get to the Passwords that he, when repairing something in my account, had to ask me for my password because it would have been too much hassle to hunt it down.

That being said, I trust I will not be getting anymore presumptuous letters in my E-Mail because someone lept to the assumption that a moderator was doing something before checking the facts.

This is very depressing, all I really want is peace and Talerin back in my council, but I don't think that will happen for quite a while. It was a mistake that you ever saw that PM, and now it could be Rohan's downfall. If you still choose to go to war, than I beg you one more time to only come @ us w/ your force. We will use no allies, this is a p[ersonal matter, and I would rather not see others die. Rangers, Talerin's forces, Mikes forces, etc. Any life is a huge loss, therefore if you approach this the right way than some of that can be prevented. Think it over.

I shall heed the advice of Mithrandir, for his voice seems wise indeed. My mind is settled now: I shall stay home and let peace return.

My heart is weary, and I grow tired of hearing the constant lies of Elessar. It grieves me that anybody actually believes his lies, but I can only try so hard to prove otherwise. If my actions still earn me hatred and the label 'tyrant' then I am at a loss for options. I curse Elessar, and I shall never forgive him of the anguish he has caused me, and I hope that someday I lay my hands on him so that he may suffer eternally. All others I forgive, and ask to forgive me of whatever faults you see within me. I am Edain, and not Eldar. I cannot carry the burden of the Empire or my life flawlessly.

I officially declare that the White Council no longer finds fault in Ciryaher. He has proven himself in my eyes, I apologize for the statements I made declaring him a tyrant, he seems to be governing his people w/ much grace and freedom.
I am sorry if this offends some of my allies, but I do think that we judged Ciryaher, maybe a little to harshly.

I pray now that Aerin and Talerin will officially come back to the White Council, so that we may finally complete the Wizards Council.
I feel that we are finally at peace and soon I would like to host a feast for this accomplishment, if Eomer will allow I would like it to be placed @ Rohan.

Eomer you have asked for my council many a time, and after much thought I state that this is it. I do not want to see your fine people die, nor mine. We shall finally have the peace we long for so much.

Elessar, I still welcome you to my wizards council, i am sorry if this offends anyone but me and Elessar have become friends over this time and even though I don't agree w/ everything he states I will never abandone a friend. Not a single one, not Talerin, not Eomer, not Ness, and not Elessar.

I do believe that this is the end, and now I am almost confident that it will be Arandor that brings this earth to peace, if this is so I might just have to aid in this. Who knows I might even return to my position as Wizard of Cardolan. This should please my allies, because then I will have a say in what happens in this new kingdom, and hopefully you will feel more comfortable knowing that I am in the government, not letting you be treated wrong.

This decision is not final about my position, and I will ALWAYS be Rohan's High Counciler, but I just thought I should let everyone know. That is all for now.

I am glad to see peace fall over all, and plan now to begin the great task of managing my empire. I welcome all to Rhun who wish, and I finally put an end to the blockade I issued as the war thoughts began to brew and shimmer. All may enter as they wih, and You won't encounter any Orcen beasts! They remain in the far east, so as not to offend/horrify potential travelers. I now move my force of war safely behind my border, yet can not help but think when the next war shall erupt. Yet if it does my alliance is clear to me now, and I shall not stray from it, least my allies stike me. May peace reign!
