Open auditions for "The Hobbit," directed by Michael Mutascio, will be held on Saturday, Jan. 8, beginning at 8:30 a.m. at the Stoughton Cinema Pub in Stoughton Center. Auditions are for those ages 8 to 18 and no preparations are needed.
From J.R.R. Tolkien, the prelude to the epic "Lord of the Rings" is coming to the stage and you could be part of the adventure. "The Hobbit" follows Bilbo Baggins on a quest to help the dwarves take back their mountain; over run by a vicious dragon. On the way getting captured by goblins, tied up by spiders, almost smashed by trolls and of course meeting Gollum and then finding the ring.

Hey, my good friend goes to school sort of near there. Maybe I could contrive to visit her and then subway and taxi myself to the play when it shows. That would be a good time.

You have my word. If my worried parental units will allow it, that is.. And I will do my very best to convince them. :)

I'm a bit far away.

Who wrote the stage play? Can I get a copy?
