Wow, the Kid's grown up and visiting Oxford.
Be sure to visit the 'Bird and Baby (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Eagle_and_Child)' Pub (if you don't know what that is, get off this site) :)
After that, be sure to swagger about Jolly 'Ol England a bit ... be sure to remind each and every 'Brit' you come across that you're an American, and want to know the location of the closest McDonalds.
You might want to express a belief that the Queen is getting a bit long in the tooth (they'll like that), that she should step down, and they should elect (they'll like that too) Paris Hilton as their Queen.
Let's see ... tell them that more Brits should be like John Cleese, oh, and every now and then, remind them that we saved their hides in WWII.
Yes, that should get you in the good graces of the Brits. :)
That being said, England is a great place for a young person to visit. I go there often, and the people are outstanding. There's so much history there, you could spend years there and not see it all.
Be sure to visit Runnymede (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Runnymede), Winchester (http://www.winchester-cathedral.org.uk/), Canterbury (http://www.canterbury-cathedral.org/) if you can (it was closed the last time I was there), tell Helena Bonham Carter to give me a call (can't hurt). Oh, and don't eat anything even close to coming from a cow.
Have fun!!! :)

This being my first chance back on TTF since I visited....I have to say, I didn't get a chance to visit. It was on the complete opposite side of town we were visiting...and there would be no way to take 70 people over to the other side to satisfy 2....
