Hello,
I have a question to make...
Does anyone know if there is a "red" book of Tolkien...
I don't know if the tilte is the "red book" or it just has a red cover...
A friend of mine says that there is a red book, but they have it only in UK...
Can anyone help me with it?
Thnx...

Perhaps your friend was thinking of the Leatherette Collector’s Edition of The Lord of the Rings (http://www.houghtonmifflinbooks.com/catalog/titledetail.cfm?titleNumber=697077) published by Houghton Mifflin?

I told him about that...
He said that he knows the book your say but is not the one...
He is sure that the title is Red Book or something like that...
I think that maybe there is a book with that name because there is the book with the title
(http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0395576474/qid=1116914966/sr=1-1/ref=sr_1_1/102-4425311-7622532?v=glance&s=books) The Adventures of Tom Bombadil and Other Verses from the Red Book (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0395576474/qid=1116914966/sr=1-1/ref=sr_1_1/102-4425311-7622532?v=glance&s=books)
so the Red Book does exist...

Then perhaps this thread (http://www.thetolkienforum.com/showthread.php?t=8600) will provide the solution to the mystery.
