Hey people I was thinking of starting an RPG with Ara but she talked to me about it first so here it is. I only ask a few things from you. If you want to join, submit a character profile first and we will see if it fits in with the story (it most likely will so don't worry). It takes place in the Third Age as a group of adventurers is called together in order to find Morgoth's ancient weapon, Grond. Everyone should start at a different location and I will, of course, be using Necronum again because he is a VERY old character I have had since I was 10 and it is easy to play off of his history. So PLEASE ask to join and submit a profile forehand before you post in the IC. One more stipulation, should you be denied OR accepted we ask you remove your profile from the OOC. And if you are accepted move it to the Profiles thread. Thank you and enjoy your flight.

hehe Hi! Yes, I think this is going to be an interesting experiment. ;) As you hold the key to our story Rai, can I ask that you be the one to start the IC? I will gladly fit my... um... girl :p to plot. ;) It might take the two of us to get this up and running, but people, you are welcome to inquire here for joining. :D

We in no way intend to offend anyone by our doing this, but it has been brought to my attention that some think it has been 'to slow' around here lately. This should be something to at-least read if you get 'bored'. Have fun! :D

Alright then Ara get your profile in the appropriate thread and prepare for HQ's arrival. Hopefully people will actually WANT to join this considering that it's gonna be big. One more thing. Each of you should recieve a letter from Celeborn. It is your choice what to do then. I will write what the letter says on my post so please read it before you do ANYTHING!

I shant post just yet. :D I'm going to fine-tune a profile and then I'll get back to you. hummm... interesting thought though, is she one of the Elves in the charge, but I wouldn't know how to fit her in that right now. I'll play with something else. ;) :D

The only slight problem will be that after, I think it's tomorrow, I can't get on for about a week. I'm going back to work at camp, but even that could give me time to get some ideas. We'll see. :D

Understood. Don't worry it's just going to be their opening stories for now such as Necronum at Dol Guldur. I was being vague when I spoke earlier. Don't do anything with the STORYLINE until I post what the letter says. You may drop your character into the heat of battle or whatever you desire and enjoy your opening story but do not interweave with the storyline just yet please.

Yea, ignore the Ring of the Witch King thing in my profile that is a Fourth Age profile so my bad. Other then that just introduce your character into the world.

Actually, i will thimk that the tower exploding will send debris flying everywhere, lets see a troll survive two tones of stone landing on his head! and just or fun, could the fire cause some trees to burn, make my archers prety uncomfortable!

I have detailed maps of everything in Middle-Earth from the Ered Luin to the Eastern Mountains. From the southernmost deserts of Harad to beyond the Thangorodrim. So if you need any information lets me knows my precssssssioussssssssssss.

Do you have a map of Dul Gundor? I have most things from the internet( ie thingols palace, ecta..) though no dul gundor...

Now all we have to do is wait for Alatar's character and we can get moving. The only problem I see is with HQ not being on much and not posting period. Anybody think we should wait a while before actually advancing the storyline in order to get more characters?

We're talking Insurance, Liability, Physical, and a few other forms as well. Platoon Sergeants may do all the work but Platoon Leaders take all the punishment. :cool: Then there is Reg Training coming up (Woodland then Arctic, second in my opinion only to swamp training) and I'm going to be completely drained. I'll post to the best of my abilities but I make no promises of good posts.

Yea, sorry about the 'z' there. The English and French parts of me were saying, "The 's' is the proper way of spelling it." but the American part of me was yelling, "BUT THE 'Z' LOOKS COOLER!" so I put a 'z' in my name... You hit the Nationality thread yet? That is a weird idea so I like it.

I've had a family member in almost every major war. The French Revolution, The American Revolution, Civil War, Cold War, Vietnam, my cousin in Desert Storm, both World Wars, and so on. I am actually of the same lineage as Joan de Arc (not of her lineage mind you). All in all though we are just bricks in the wall.

Sorry about not being on but there has been a LOT going on. First I recieved a couple of big promotions and a transfer to Central Command, then there was that riot where 3 civillians and one of our own were injured... badly, finally there is the regulation training and I have no time or energy left for the forum. Even now I'm re-hemming my pants after the tree root crisis so I apologize.

Ugh I REALLY need prayers now. I'm acting as an Arbiter tomorrow in court to defend a certain someone here on base. Turns out two of those three civilians died this morning and the blame is being placed on one of our men so considering I'm now an officer and the only one qualified to represent him I have to make an appearance. Do you think it would be worth a thread in maybe the Ivy Bush or somewhere to post the session as it is recorded?
